Norton 360 5.0.0.125 v: indicators of site security Web no longer work with Firefox 4.
Is there something I need to do to activate it or just Norton should catch up with Firefox 4?
Symantec needs update their Firefox Add-ons to make them compatible with Firefox 4. They indicated that, for Norton 360, they plan to release a update of Norton 360 to support Firefox 4 in early may - http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web & docurl = 20100720113635EN & ln = en_US
I don't know about the time scale for the updates for other Norton products. Waiting for the update by Symantec, if you want to use Norton modules, you will need to downgrade to Firefox 3.6.
Downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first of all uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option 'remove my Firefox personal data '. If you select this option, it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
Then you can install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your favorite courses, passwords etc.
I recommend, to avoid possible problems with decommissioning, accessing your profile folder and delete the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Delete these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, check their compatibility and cancel the toolbar customizations.

According to my info in Firefox I have Firefox 15.0.1 & it is up-to-date.
I can no longer use Firefox with all my saved bookmarks and familiarity that Norton Security programs I got Comcast no longer work with Firefox. Whenever I use it, it says that my safety is compromised. I don't have any protection. Currently I use internet for purchases, that I count on privacy and security, so I now use Sarari, which I don't like at the well.Using Firefox, I Googled, found the info that says everything I need to do is to upgrade my Norton with Live Update and then restart Firefox. Do it, but it doesn't help, still has the same lack of protection.

I have Norton Security Suite provided by Comcast. Norton Toolbar does not work with Firefox 17.0.1 on my Win 7 machine. I lived all the questions on this topic and did all the steps and when I click on "Add-ons", he always says that the toolbar is not compatible. It works with IE, but I prefer to use Firefox.
I had the same problem in the past. If you call customer Norton service toll-free they have always helped me start (without charges) when I have updated to a new version of Firefox - seems to happen every time even if I run the updates regularly. Hope that this phone help-Norton support is always very friendly and helpful-just Google their 800 number.

Norton 360 Connection Wizard does not work with Firefox 17
I just upgraded to Firefox 17 and found that Norton 360 "Connection Wizard" (officially named Identity Safe) no longer works. He does not fill in the username and password fields. It worked great and did all the right things when I was using Firefox 16. There is probably a miracle solution, but in the meantime, I had to go back to version 16. Impatience the problem is resolved.

Why Norton Toolbar will not work with Firefox 23.0.1?
Norton Toolbar 2013.4.1.2 is disabled and there is no option to turn it on. I've updated my Norton 360 with all latest updates. Norton site says that it has updated its software to be compatible with Firefox 23.
Thank you in advance,
LarreyFinally solved my problem. I had to uninstall and reinstall Norton 360 and when I updated and rebooted I had the last Norton Toolbar, v2012.4.2.2
For some reason any before the re-setup of Norton 360 my Norton Toolbar would not be up to date to the latest version. V2012.4.1.2 Norton Toolbar is not compatible with Firefox v23.0.1
At least now I have my Norton Toolbar with Firefox.

It's probably very easy to understand this and to uninstall the updates to date, but, well, I am slightly tech-illiterate! I use my Norton Toolbar a lot for the sites I visit frequently, and this no compatibility issue is the same reason I stick with Mozilla on Chrome, but now I can not even use my Norton with Mozilla information. Thank you.

My Norton security suite and the toolbar Norton will work with the new Firefox?
A previous version of Firefox eliminated my Norton toolbar and I had to reload an older version of Firefox to get it back. I've been reluctant to upgrade to newer versions of Firefox because of this problem. You are now compatible with Norton?
It depends on what version on Norton you have: I have Norton Security Suite (not to be confused with Norton 360). Free Norton Security Suite is available to Comcast customers. Updates following Norton Security seem to be a bit behind Norton 360. Norton said currently their Norton 360 product can be updated using Live Update and the toolbar does not work in Firefox 22, but this does not seem to solve the problem of the toolbar with Norton Security Suite. It is a very frustrating issue that is causing me does not want to update to Firefox.
