  • Fallout trilogy > problem download > Fallout (E :) > E: / is not a valid Win32 Application.)

I just got the trilogy Fallout game for Christmas. I was downloading on my Windows XP laptop. I jumped the drive and nothing happened. I checked the computer room to look for the removable disk, I found Fallout (E :) and clicked on it, it normally start the Setup and let the installation program to download, then install, so allow me to play the game.)

But when I clicked on what came was "E: / is not a valid Win32 Application."

I assume that Win32 is Windows XP? And on the game, it says it requires OS: Win90/2000/XP with DirectX 7.0 or later/Vista version.

I just got my laptop completely wipe clean and load Windows XP on it to him. He used to have Windows Vista Home Basic, the Fallout 1 game, I used to have downloaded without problem. Fallout trilogy has 1 Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel.

If you can please tell me how I can download this soon so I can play the game, I'm pretty frustrated and upset because my cousin has spent hours looking for this game, and it was the last available at the 5th GameStop he went to.

    Hello

Here is some information that may be beneficial to get a resolution to your inquiry.

If you had installed Fallout3 mode "Run As Amin" and will still have problems.  Uninstallation of Fallout 3.  Install the following Microsoft DirectXhttp://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3 and that reinstall Fallout 3, mode 'run as administrator '.

Do not install the latest patch yet.  Run Fallout3.  If it works well, do a system restore point.  Then install the latest patch.

In addition, when a right click on the .exe file, it should be a 'compatibility' tab, if necessary, please try to install the .exe file in Windows XP SP2.  I hope that this information is beneficial.

  • Dv6707us: BIOS download not a valid Win32 application

I have a DV6707US with an AMD processor and 2 GB of RAM. I need to Flash the bios. I downloaded the latest and most recent versions. I started on a WinPE disk, because the laptop is not a hard drive at the moment.

But the WinPE always tells me that the bios is not a valid Win32 application. The bios numbers are sp52477 and sp48124.

I then tried a startup BACK key, but they were not valid here either.

WinPE is XP 32 bit. Which should be good, I think.

    So I'm stuck.

BTW, this forum doesn't seem to like the Chrome browser. Driver downloads did not show on engine webkit or blink, nor could I find in this forum.

I hope someone has an answer to the problem of bios, because the fate of the laptop hinges on the updating of the bios.

I loaded Vista x 32 on the machine and the bios is doing the same thing. Not a Win32 application invalid. What to do in a situation like this? It will not run under Windows or DOS.

    Thank you.

This site looks wacked out for me. I have responded to this topic 10 minutes ago and do not see it now.

I downloaded the bios again on the machine itself - same browser. This time the download is good. So this immediate problem is solved.

  • JPEG is not a valid Win32 application

I downloaded the pictures from the camera and was able to open all of them. Put them in folders on my desk, and 10 minutes later, I get this error message saying THAT JPEG is not a valid win32 application. Can anyone help?

    Ok

If you get this error when you click twice on the jpeg?

If so, looks like you do not have your .jpegs associated an image viewer. you have problems with other files? Press Ctrl + ESC to bring up the start bar, type "control". Double-click the icon "default programs". Choose "associate a file type or Protocol with a specific program. Navigate to the .jpeg and choose 'change program '. From there, you have a few choices for image programs. If you already have the .jpeg associated with a program to let us know, but this should be your problem. Hope this helps,

I get this error message whenever I try to open a Word of my email document

    Hello

1 are there any changes or updates made on the computer?

    2. not the problem only occurs for a specific document or all documents?

    3. are you able to open documents saved on the computer without any error message?

4 are you facing this problem to a particular email?

    Method 1:

I suggest that you try to download and save the document on your computer and then try to open it and check if it opens.

    Method 2:

You can try to create a new user profile and check if the problem persists.

To create a new profile, you must first create a new user account. When the account is created, a profile will also be created.

    Reference:

    Create a user profile.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/create-a-user-account

    Method 3:

Also start a Microsoft security online on the computer Scanner and check.

Note: the data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means there is a risk of data loss.

  • \boot\bootsect.exe is not a valid win32 application

I am currently running windows xp pro 32 bit OS. A windows 7 ultimate 64 bit ISO of the OS file is also in my possession. My goal is to begin installing WINDOWS ULTIMATE 64 BIT on a USB. I finally found a promising link via google search. ( http://www.bwana.org/2009/01/11/how-to-install-windows-7-beta-from-a-usb-drive-to-an-hp-mini-1000-without-vista/ ) I managed to go to step 12. In the 13th stage, I'm stuck. I get error -k:\boot\bootsect.exe is not a valid win32 application that I am running a 32 bit OS. Is anyway to change this?

Some sites offer a free download of a 32-bit version of Windows 7 is bootsect.exe. Should I replace my bootsect.exe 64 (present in my file ISO Win7x64Ultimate of origin) with a 32 bit one and create an ISO file with the rest of the intact files, I'll be able to get through the 13th stage?

Also, I have 5 drives in "My Computer". Each partitioned using NTFS file system. My XP Pro 32 bit is in the C: drive. I do not fear to lose the C: data because this is where I plan to install win7 ultimate 64-bit. However, I do not want the files in other readers. My question is-"I'll be able to access these files in other drives after installing win7 x 64 in the C: drive? »

    1 million thanks any help.

If you have purchased Widnows 7 since the MS Store:

When you create a bootable USB device, I get an error on bootsect
To make the USB bootable, you must run a tool called bootsect.exe. In some cases, this tool must be downloaded from your Microsoft Store account. This can happen if you try to create a USB bootable 64-bit from 32-bit version of Windows. To download bootsect:

    1. Sign in to your Microsoft Store account to view your purchase history
    2. Search for your purchase of Windows 7.
    3. Next to Windows 7, there is a drop-down list "additional download options.
    4. In the drop-down menu, select "32-bit ISO."
    5. Right-click on the link and then save the bootsect.exe file to the location where you installed the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool (for example C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Apps\Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool).
    6. Once the file has been saved, return to the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool to create your bootable USB device.

If you do not - Instructions I could find:

Follow these instructions to work around the bootsect error:

    a. download and install the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool program, as described on theMicrosoft Store website.

    b. download a working version of 32-bit bootsect.exe . Here is a link to the 32 bit bootsect.exe:

    bootsect7600x86.zip
    From: http://www.sevenforums.com/installation-setup/54443-32-bit-bootsect.html

    c. Once downloaded, copy the BootSect.exe file in the same folder that contains the file ofWindows7-USB-DVD-Download - Tool.exe installed. This file in Windows Vista's default installation directory isC:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Apps\Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool\ (you need to look in XP)

    d. application of the Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool as described on theMicrosoft Store website. The end result will give you a boot USB flash drive that contains everything you need to install the 64 bit version of Windows 7.
