  OK, this would cause problems you are currently experiencing.  For Adobe Creative applications you must use the uninstaller located in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers.  Once you have run the uninstall program you can then re-download and install After Effects.

  Since the update removes all traditional Windows applications, I reinstalled those applications after the update. Unfortunately, streets & trips 2013 "installed", but the resulting program fails when booting with the message «error initializing license has occurred, 0xC004D301.»

  None of the remedies for this condition suggested worked for me. It is time "all delete and reinstall Windows.

  Except if anyone in this community can provide a way to solve the streets & trips license initialization problem, I suggest that anyone running streets should uninstall it before proceeding with a "refresh". This seems quite likely to avoid this problem.

  I got the above message when I tried to access my room servert pc (XP Pro with Service Pack 3) from another pc Client (XP Home Edition with service pack 3) on a network share. I see all class document & readers who share in my network places on both PCs.

  I also tried to enable the allow anonymous enumeration of SAM accounts and shares on XP Pro (default value is Disable).
  File and printer sharing exception is enabled in firewall. Don't have a firewall part 3

  The two guest account are capable of Simple file sharing in XP Pro box checked also checked.

  I have a 750 page pdf document that I've created.

  I have to sometimes the pages up and down after that I added the page numbers in the document by using the Header_Footer tool on the right column of tools.

  But after you save the document, if I get a few pages around, I can't go back and change the page numbers.

  I thought that the page numbers, as indicated in the header and footer must have changed automatically, but I guess that once its print, that it cannot be edited - is that, as what is?

  So I guess we should always first get a copy without numbers of pages before confirming the documents and the creation of an index.

  A way to remove these page numbers already there and add new page numbers.

  Its a lot of work to align 750 court documents and then realize that you must move some and then realize the page numbers cannot be changed and thus begin to do this all over again to compile which can take about 10 hours.

  My question is quite simple, but I hope that overall, I got my point. Sorry if I made it is too complex.

  The result is that Adobe does not provide any software to defeat the security of a PDF file. If the creator of the PDF file set to this level of security, intentionally or not, that's what it is! The solution to your problem is to go to the creator of the document and ask the password or an unprotected PDF file version.

  The most common reason for this is that the pdf was made from a scanned image. If this is the case, there is no living text to select or highlight. See if you can use the Select to select individual words. If you can't then that's exactly what is happening.

  A possible alternative is instead to use the highlight tool, use the annotations of drawing tool. You can draw a rectangle around the text, select the box, right click and choose Properties, add a fill color and then reduce the opacity.

  It's kind of way to make cheese but the only choice when using Reader on the images digitized.

  The second file is not cooperating and was not deleted.

  "Not cooperating" can mean many different things. A real verbatim error message would be more useful. In the case of locked files, it is often possible to remove safe mode.
