  • My websote for dreamweaver 2 is not compatible with my computer windows 7.

    I'm ulnable to make changes to mhy becauseit site was designed usilng dreamweaver 2. and my new computer windows 7. My old computer has windows xp, but this computer no longer works... I have not had any problems to access dreamweaver 2 with windows xp

    All the solutions I've heard talking is very expensive or very difficult to do.

    So far, solutions that have heard about are:

    1. hire someone to redesign my whole website, use an edition much more later from dreamweaver

    2. take windows xp on my old computer and install it on my new computer

    3. buy a widows xp cd and install it on my new computer

    3. buy a windows xp computer and use it instead of my computer windows 7

    4 buy a windows xp computer and hook it and my computer windows 7 on the same monitor. The techniques proposed to achieve this appeal to any of the following:

    A. get a vga signal splitter and reverse the trend by using sex changer. or

    B. Best Buy suggested using a KVM switch

    I am not technical and will all have to get hired. Cost is very important.

    I don't know with enough help a noob can configure a dual boot, but there is absolutely no need for this.

    Windows 7 allows you to run applications in compatibility mode. This eliminates the hassle of dual boot and allows you to run the application from the same boot.

    Simply click here and download:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/Virtual-PC/Download.aspx

    This will install Windows XP on Windows 7, and then allow you to run your older programs.

    It is much easier to achieve than the dual boot and faster than having to restart each time you want to spend using a program from Windows 7 and XP.

  • Realtek 81xx NIC "Cable not connected" with WRT54G2 on Windows Vista

    Hello, I have this weird problem with Realtek 3 different integrated NICs, connect to a WRT54G2 configured as an Access Point.

    I have installed and configured the WRT54G2 without any problems using my computer laptop buildin NIC and wireless adapter, it worked like a charm. However, try to connect two different PC with integrated NIC Realtek 8168 me Gets the problem of "cable not connected". When I click on this cable in to my laptops NIC, it works.

    I've tried everything. In advanced settings, I changed the speed to 10 Mbps, 1000 Mbit and 100Mbit and back to auto. nothing. When I plug the cable in 10Mbit, the lights on the NIC on briefly then darken again. When they do not appear there is a message "unknown network".

    It is not energy saves the settings, I turned them all off. Also any firewall setting is killed on the clients.

    I even bought a cheep * beep * PCI NIC, which has been using a Realtek chip set 81xx; don't turn back, "cable not connected" everywhere.

    I've never seen anything like this. With any other router is most of the configuration work, now, I spent the evening in the hope of seeing the yellow and orange lights flash to appear. This is the way to complicated for no reason.

    Anyone can say anything about it? I think to get to a simple Belkin do the work.

    Have you tried another ethernet cable... Try it.

    Connect to the Linksys configuration Page and reduce the size MTU to 1300 and click on save settings.

    You can also try reducing the map of the computer (NIC) speed to 10 Mbps half duplex / 10 base mode half T/10.

    If the foregoing, all action does not work, try to reset the router for a minute... Check it out now.

  • Program, managing your money get the version of the file is not compatible with Windows Vista

    I'm trying to run an old program, manage his money, on Vista Home Premium 64 - bit. It ran OK on Win XP. When I try to run the setup.exe, I get error - "the version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows hou are running." I tried to use the program compatibility Wizard. No help. Same mistake. Anything else I can try?

    If you get this error and the Compatibility Mode doesn't help, then the program simply is not compatible with this version of Vista, and if you want the program, you will need to check with the manufacturer to see if they make a full install version which is compatible with Vista and buy the program more recent.  If they do not have such a version, then I'm afraid you're just out of luck with this program.  The only other option MIGHT be Virtual PC, but even that is not a guarantee and is a little extreme just to get an old program running.

    Sorry if this isn't what you wanted to hear, but it's like that.

    Good luck!

  • Satellite A500 - video/dvd player is not compatible with Windows 10

    After having recently updated of my laptop for windows 10 I discovered that the dvd player does not work. A message is displayed informing that the player is not compatible with this version of windows. A scan using Norton suggests dvd will not work because it needs to be configured.

    Does anyone else have this problem?

    Obviously, Toshiba DVD playback application that is preinstalled on this Satellite A500 model is not compatible with the system Windows 10.

    In this case this software will not properly work after the upgrade to win 10 and I guess you have to remove the system Win 10.

    Unfortunately, the Satellite A500 is not listed as Win 10 portable computers and so I don't think you will get an update to this software for DVD playback.

    Hello

    Do a clean install of XP with the XP disk provided by Dell, if you.

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/OperatingSystems/SS/instxpclean1.htm

    If you do not have your XP disk, you can contact Dell and ask them to send you a XP disc.

    They should do this for a small fee.

    You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the order of startup and startup disk:

    How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

    "How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

    Vista installation was able to destroy this option of relocation:

    And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall XP back on how you purchased your computer.

    The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    A Dell must rely on Ctrl + F11 at STARTUP to reinstall XP

  • I have a piece of test equipment that is not compatible with Windows Vista 64 - bit edition. Is it possible to go back to the 32-bit version without having to re - install?

    The test equipment is a Site Master S820D used for the test of microwave signals.  It is not compatible with Windows Vista 64-bit, but is with Windows Vista 32 - bit.  Want to know if there is a way to get back to Windows Vista 32-bit, without having to buy a new operating system.  The program is called "Site Master Handheld Software Tools".

    Hello

    If you want to move from a 32-bit version of Windows to a 64 bit version of Windows Vista, or vice versa, you will need to back up your files, then select custom during installation of Windows Vista. Next, you need to restore your files and reinstall your programs

  • Windows Vista is not compatible with Sagem router?

    My laptop does not connect to my Sagem sky router but will connect to other wireless connections. When you use the Ethernet cable, it connects but does not identify the network name; When I try to connect wirelessly it says unidentified network, local access only. 2 other laptops in my house to connect to the router with no problems. I have tried to change the channel, change the type of encryption, I reset my router, checked the properties of the adapter, uninstalled McAfee and even spent an hour on the phone with Sky today to be told that my laptop is simply not compatible with the router. My laptop is running Vista Home Basic, and use two other laptop computers XP and Windows 7. The upgrade to Windows 7 would solve the problem? I don't want to pay for the upgrade, if I'm still not able to connect to the Internet.

    Click with the right button on command prompt and select run as administrator - type the following command

    netsh winsock reset

    Press enter

    Now it works?

    Have you tried: disconnect the battery & leaving for an hour
    change the channel on the router
    change power options
    verification of the IP address is detected automaticall
    Uncheck for automatic IP address
    Change the firewall settings/turn off the firewall
    installation of the SP3
    Tour of WPA security
    He turned back
    tried switched to WEP

    There's a fixit here.  If editing the registry yourself, do exactly what he says.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/928233/en-GB

    1. run regedit.
    2. navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\tcpip6\Parameters\DisabledComponents. If you do not see DisabledComponents, create one by adding the following registry value (type DWORD).
    3. change one or a few values:
    1 = disable tunnel interfaces
    2 = disable 6to4
    3 = DΘsactiver ISATAP
    8 = disable Teredo
    16 = disable LAN interfaces and PPP
    32 = preference set of IPv4 to IPv6
    255 = disable full IPv6

    Note: 1) you must restart the computer for changes to the DisabledComponents registry value to take effect.
    (2) this method disables IPv6 on all your interfaces LAN, connections, and tunnel interfaces but does not disable the IPv6 loopback interface. You must restart the computer for this registry value is taken into account.

    II.

    1. open the properties of the local area network.
    2. uncheck the box next to the Internet Protocol version 6 (TCP/IPv6) component in the list under this connection uses the following items.

    This method disables IPv6 on your connections and LAN interfaces, but does not disable IPv6 on the interfaces of tunnel or the IPv6 loopback interface.
