  First of all, the D90 was supported in Camera Raw 5.1.

  Open Photoshop and click on Photoshop (Mac) or help (Win) > Plug-ins > Camera Raw to see what version you use.

  Photoshop CS4 comes with Camera Raw 5.0.

  Try to update Camera Raw in Photoshop to 5.7 via help > updates.

  If this does not work, try to manually edit Camera Raw

  This camera required Camera raw 9.2 or higher (see supported by Adobe Camera Raw devices )

  You need to convert raw files to DNG, then you could treat in Bridge/Photoshop.Refer using Photoshop | Digital negative converter Adobe 9.x

  CS6 current versions are perpetual Mac version 10.0.6 version 13.0.1.3 Windows and Mac and Windows version 13.1.2 subscription.  The current version of ACR for CS6 is ACR 9.0 latest ACR has however are not active in any version of CS6.  Brand new available in CS6 camera support.    If you can not CS6 update to the current version of your system you need to fix this problem.

I was just trying to work on some on my Photoshop & from their opening RAW images, I get the message: If you try to open a file from a digital camera raw, make sure that you have the latest camera raw update installed via help > updates... (but when I go to help, it does not give me these options). I use a canon 6 d and it shows that it should support the minimum CR sheet in version 7.3. Please let me know if anyone of you knows how to solve this problem, thanks

  Hi Helen,

  Go to the list of system information that Chris mentioned and under required plugins that camera raw should be listed. You can see I'm version 9.5, but as you use CS6 you can use the version the most recent is 9.1. Your camera requires a minimum of version 7.3 so if you get the 9.1 version then it should work without a doubt.

  I don't know if you have a Mac or Windows machine then here are the download links for both. Do not be tempted to try v9.5 as her for CC only. As Chris pointed out you lack a lot of updates and you can find the camera raw 9.1 will not work until they are installed, but there is not much to lose by installing v9.1 and just see if it works.

  In bridge, make a right click has no option open in camera raw. Also no open in camera raw in the menu.

  Last resort: open photoshop, go drop-down camera raw - but then error message:

  "Could not complete your request because the file format module cannot parse the file"

  Yes, it works on a PC, Lawrence.  I just tried with Photoshop CS5 and CS4 to be sure.

  Make sure that you have registered the PSD with maximize compatibility first.

  File - open as, Camera Raw.  Then choose it. PSD file and voila, it will open in Camera Raw.

  Why don't you have the value you see Windows file extensions?

• LR3 DNG edit in Photoshop does not open in Camera Raw

  I have LR 3.2 64 bit and v12.0.1 CS5 and Camera Raw 6.2 on Windows 7 64bits. I do 95% of my editing in Lightroom. Sometimes I choose 'Edit in Photshop' and in the past a DNG or CR2 image open in Camera Raw (at least I think that's the case). Recently however, I have noticed that if I have a DNG or a CR2 file, right click and select 'open in Photoshop... '. ' open the file directly in Photoshop, not in Camera Raw. I tried to delete my LR3 preference, clear my preferences of CS5 and deleting both, but the behavior does not change. Does anyone have an idea to explain this?

  There is nothing wrong with the behavior you are because the image is not supposed to Open in Camera Raw, nor should he.

  Camera RAW plugin is 7.0.0.308. downloaded 9.1.1. zip and who ran but get error message "error opening file writing FRO c:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\PLugins\CS6\File formats Raw.8bi.» If I don't know that the Setup program runs and tells me that it has been installed, but who does not attend the CS6.

  Always get this msg of error trying to open the raw files.

  I see that others have had similar problems with different solutions. I tried the Live Chat, but they simply sent me here. CS6 ran fine under W7 64 bit and I have had no problem at the opening of my raw files it.

  Arrived at c:\program files\common Adobe Plug-ins\cs6\file formats (I think, I had to throw an old computer since I'm under CC on my main system).  There should be a single and same file Camera Raw.8bi.  If this is not the case, they leave a safe place and re - install.  If you do a manual installation via the zip file, then make sure you are using the version 9.1.1, a later version will not work with CS6.

  I remember well, update CS6 via help has several updates a selectable ACR by check mark, don't know why you are not given the choice of ACR.

  I upgraded my camera to a Nikon D7100, PES 10 will not open the raw file. Y at - it a upgrade for PES 10, I've updated as much as I can. I think it is 6.4. Help

  The D7100 requires at least Camera Raw 7.4. This version is not compatible with Photoshop Elements 10. You must either upgrade your Photoshop Elements (the current version is 14) or use the DNG Converter (free from Adobe) to make copies DNG that you can use in 10 items.

  ACR use your GPU, perform the surface 4 pro has all its windows 10 updates and firmware updates.  Bad CC is updated and you ACR 9.2.  Usage menu help > about Plig-ins > Camera raw.  If you have 9.2 RTAs use Edit menu > Preferences > Camera Raw and try disabling support GPU.

  Hi, ATR, just for you say, my firewall etc is managed by software Norton anti-virus, the reason why I could not update was the firewall, entered the firewall of windows 8 and found a facility to allow applications through firewall he, Adobe was not one of them, so I just added 13 elements Adobe and hey presto it allowed me to do all the necessary updates , I now camera raw 8.7 update on 13 items.
