not recognizing css text

We have FF 13.0.1 and he did strange things... as not to recognize styles. In particular, text/css generated by Dreamweaver CS3 is not displayed. Also, we find that the graphics are not repeated, even if the code is telling the browser to do so. These problems are not seen on IE or Chrome. Any ideas?

Can you give us a URL so that we can try to reproduce the problem?

If not, the things I would do is to check that the HTML and CSS are valid:

Also, try to clear the cookies and the cache of Firefox.

    I have a way around this problem.

    I just saved my 2This contact numbers. Since I was the opiton to save more than one number, I save the number with and witoout the prefix of the country. so now, I can see touch when I get SMS and calls.

  • Changes not implemented CSS

    I'm working through lesson "Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 with ASP, ColdFusion, and PHP: training from the Source" by Bob Flynn. The lesson is on CSS. I change the CSS file by following the instructions, changing positions, color and size of the text are reflected in the design view in DW. However they are not recognized by Safari and Firefox browsers.

    Sort problem.

    I don't have a ' # ' above the hexadecimal color value. The "CSS rule Definition" dialog box allows you to enter a color value and gives you an overview of the color without the ' # '. Dreamweaver will preview the color without the ' # ' in the window design, but like the CSS file does not have the "#" and the browser will ignore the color and give default values.

    Stupid of me, but I don't think that Dreamweaver should have let it go this far.

    Market by comparing the CSS code to work on the CD with the code that I have generated.

    Thank you very much for your answers.

    FYI Bob, intel Mac, CS3, Safari 3.1.

  • The arrow keys sometimes does not work in text boxes

    I have a recurring issue which is really annoying: my left/right arrows (including CTRL + arrow keys) randomly and occasionally do work not when entering text in some text boxes on some Web sites. This never happens in unformatted text boxes 'simple' (Facebook, search fields, this box very I type in...), but unpredictably longer complexes (WYSIWYG editors, new comments youtube...).

    I tried to disable all extensions and run Firefox in safe mode and it * seems * have solved the problem, although I can't be sure and I can't isolate which he might be, given that the problem occurs randomly extension: on the same site, it will happen and then not happen.

    I'm on Firefox 25.0, although I've had this problem for years with countless versions of Firefox.

    The extensions I have installed and enabled:

    Like Adblock
    Bamboo Feed Reader, dimmer, Download Helper, Drag & Drop Zones, Flagfox FlashVideo Downloader, Flashblock, Flashgot, Grab and Drag, MouseZoom, status-4-Evar, Youtube HD

    Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

    If it works in Mode safe mode and normal mode with all extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) off and then try to find which extension is the cause by allowing an extension at a time until the problem reappears.

    Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit ' (Windows: Firefox/file > quit;) Mac: Firefox > quit Firefox. Linux: Firefox/file > exit)

    In the Firefox Safe mode, these changes are effective:

    • all extensions are disabled
    • Default theme is used (no persona)
    • userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored
    • default toolbars is used (localstore - safe.rdf)
    • JIT JavaScript compilers are disabled (javascript.options. * jit)
    • hardware acceleration is disabled
    • plugins are not affected

  • HP EliteBook 8730w: replacement of SSD for the boot drive not recognized

    I'm trying to install a Samsung SSD 840 EVO 500 GB instead of the original 500 GB HDD in my Elitebook 8730w (product no. VF889PA #ABG). The 8730w has the latest BIOS (F.20) installed and that is running Windows 7 Professional 32-bit (fully patched).

    When it is connected to the laptop through a USB adapter, to clone the HARD disk image. the SSDS works correctly. Cloning through data Migration Samsung is reported as a success, and the image of the C:\ drive occupies approximately 153 GB. The image of the disc does not include the partition of 1 GB dedicated to HP_TOOLS, due to a known limit of the Samsung software supplied.

    When it is installed in the HARD drive Bay. the SSD is not recognized as a drive and does not appear in the list of startup options. The available boot options only shown are the DVD or a network boot.

    would be very grateful for any advice on the steps required to successfully install the Samsung SSD as boot drive.

    Hmmm.
    Honestly no, I'm not happy with this one. If it was my machine, I'd be a little concerned about whats the corner of the street. In view of the age, is not surprising really, things wear out over time, the mere fact of electronics.

    Search through everything you have posted, all photos, pdf, all the text double checking. I am absolutely puzzled as to what happened. If you 100% does not reinstall the hard disk between the posts above where no HARD drive is detected in the menu boot options for the post below that where the HARD drive is detected in the same menu. I would say that you have a problem with either, the ssd, the computer motherboard laptop or the small connector on the sata port, I think on these is integrated on the motherboard, so it seems that your advice is doubtful.
    If his works now, great... but be aware that your machine can fail at some point in the near future. And it looks like a defect of the motherboard, other things are probably waiting to fail.

    There is no reason whatsoever your laptop must not have seen this ssd at first startup. A HARD drive is a HARD disk, if its compatible sata, then it will work, no doubt. When he is not on an older machine, its probably a sign of a faulty component.

    Looking through your bios options, I recommend the following.

    On startup options, get rid of internal nic pxe boot, that will only slow your machine at startup as it will seek for a network bootable device. This is the message that you get at startup saying Media Test Failure, this page is preventable with this option disabled.
    Less built lan/wlan switching on enabled in the options of the terminal, also change. This means that if you use wifi at home for example and you decide to plug in a cable network directly to the router to speed up the connection, it will not pass if it is not defined, you will have to do it manually. I work in a large company and the number of people who have this option is unreal. They all assume when they are docked they will on the wired connection.

    Because we are here too, if you ever have problems with a flickering screen, first thing to try, is disable the ambient light sensor which is just below this option of switching. Its fine on normally, but its quite common on 8560p for this causes a flickering screen.

    Hope that helped. Good luck in what you decide to do with the machine

  • USB Device not recognized Hp OfficeJet 6600

    Hello all - I use my desktop Hp 6600 (connected via usb) jet and my computer (dell E6430 latitude) says that it is a usb device not recognized.  I tried a lot of troubleshooting, including the removal of usb controllers and reinstall, but which doesn't seem to work.  I'd like to help as soon as POSSIBLE. Again, I must keep my printer cable, because the network, I refuse the acess printers or something like that.

    Thank you

    Hello

    If I understand correctly your computer does not detect the printer. You can try the following steps and check the results.

    1) inspect the cable USB and connection:- icon on the USB () facing up when the cable is connected to the product correctly. Check the back of your product and the back of your computer to make sure that the USB cable connects correctly and safely.

    After that you make sure that the USB cable connects correctly and safely, consider the following guidelines to check other potential problems associated with USB:

    • Connect any other USB device. Connect any other USB device to the computer and check if it is detected.
    • USB ports on the keyboard. USB ports on the keyboard and on the front of some computers is maybe not powerful enough to support the product. If the USB cable connects to the USB port on the keyboard, try to connect to it in another USB port on the computer.
    • Length of the cable USB. HP recommends that the lower USB cables or equal to 5 m (16 ft 5 in) long. However, a USB cable which is 5 m (16 ft 5 in) in length must be of high quality. Otherwise, HP recommends using a USB cable that is less than 2 m (3 ft 3 in). Do not use connection cables to increase the length of the cable. Use a powered USB hub, if you need more length.
    • USB ports replacing. Connect the USB cable to a different port on the computer to make sure that the USB port on the computer is not the cause of the problem.
    • Defective USB cable. Replace the USB cable to ensure that the existing cable is not defective.
    • Conflicting USB ports. Disconnect all other USB, USB, USB cameras scanners printers and all other connected USB devices. Start the connection of these devices one at a time to determine if the devices to use too much power. Plan to buy and install a hub USB powered if necessary.

  • "ipconfig" is not recognized as internal or external, command an executable program or batch file

    I get this error for all that is registered. I even tried to show ip and got the error that 'show' was not recognized. I am not able to connect to the modem and my internet provider refuses to help with my connection until it is resolved. Can anyone help?

    I am using Microsoft Windows XP.

    I had the same problem on my Sony VAIO, running Windows XP Professional SP3.

    My problem is that the 'PATH' environment variable does NOT include "C:\WINDOWS\system32".

    Any executable in this folder could only be run from a cmd prompt if the command includes the full path.

    Solution for me: Add "C:\WINDOWS\system32;" at the beginning of my variable of environment PATH, like this:

    Log in with administrator privileges.
    Right click on 'My Computer' and select 'properties '.
    Click the "Advanced" tab
    Click the "Environment Variables" button
    In the "System Variables" box, scroll down to 'PATH' and highlight it.
    Click on the button "Edit".
    In the "value of the Variable:" box, add at the beginning of the text "C:\WINDOWS\system32"; without my quotes.
    Make sure you include the semicolon.
    Click OK three times.

    No reboot needed. If this is your problem, then ipconfig should work immediately.

  • USB not recognized completely Urgent

    Hello

    Well my USB key were all working for 24 hours. Everything began with an update that lead to my computer freezing at startup. I solved this problem by unistalling drivers USB 'Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller","Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller"and"USB hub root ". This has solved this problem led however to Microsoft Mouse and Logitect Wireless Gamepad not recognized. All three drivers have been resettled and I know that my mouse is on and work because the light is on. I had a problem similar to this with my controller, but by unistalling and re - install the USB drivers it was temporarily fixed.

    I have a HP Pavilion dv6 - 6B 01 AX (if you need stats, I can give them). I can't restore my computer to an earlier point. I surfed and surfed for the answer, but nothing helped. Its obviously a problem that others are facing at I want just a solution.

    I'll tell you when I work with updates on progress.

    What so update see the story that updated?

    Enter "restore" in the search text box programs & files, select the shortcut to system restore, follow the instructions

  • Non-breaking space as GREP not recognized?

    Hello

    I'm trying to insert a non-breaking space in a paragraph numbering style. I have to do this through GREP text characters. The GREP text for a non-breaking space is "^ S". The chips paragraph Style and numbering menu, under Numbering Style > number, I type for example: "text ^ SHello. I expect to see 'text Hello. But I see "text ^ SHello" out. It seems as if "^ S" is not recognized. Is this a bug or I do something wrong?

    This is for CS4.

    Thank you.

    Okay, we don't mean number prefixes longer, we speak of cross references. Different animal.

    I just tried sticking a nonbreaking space in the prefix filed in the numbered list dialog box, and then make a reference to the format to display the paragraph number. The non-breaking space, I pasted is preserved.

  • Telephone numbers in an excel spread sheet not recognized by Adobe Acrobat DC

    Prior to my upgrade to Adobe Acrobat DC on my iPhone, phone numbers in an excel sheet spread is recognized by Acrobat Reader as such i.e. you would touch and hold the number, a "pop up" seems so the opportunity to 'CALL' or 'SEND a MESSAGE '. This feature does work in format Adobe Acrobat, DC, why not?

    Hello

    Acrobat DC IOS uses the iOS Apple SDK to display the overview of the documents not PDF (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    It looks like a bug Apple for failing to detect automatically phone numbers only in Excel spreadsheets.

    I opened my Excel (.xls and .xlsx), Word (.docx), PowerPoint (.pptx) documents with numbers from phone to Acrobat DC for iOS.   The phone numbers in Word and PowerPoint documents have been properly recognized as such.  In the preview, plain text is transformed into text underlined in blue.  When you press and hold on the phone number, you will get the options you have mentioned.

    On the other hand, the phone numbers in the Excel spreadsheet were not recognized in the preview.  In Excel, I used the cell Format > number > special > phone number with the United States (in English) as a language.  But it has not fixed the problem.

    It turns out that Apple Mail Preview (on iOS 8) has the same problem.  You can also send your Excel spreadsheet to yourself and open it in Apple Mail on your iPhone to confirm that this is a bug to Apple.

    You can post a question in the Apple Support

    iPhone - Mail, Contacts, calendars - Apple Support

    or use Word documents for automatic detection of phone numbers.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Convert PDF to Word without recognizing the text

    Last month I was able to convert PDF documents to Word without recognizing the text. So I found myself with a PDF document as a background image in Word. Then I could just tap on it.

    Today, it seems that option no longer exists. The drop-down list shows me 10 language options, but "does not recognize" one of them is no longer.

    Does anyone know if there is another way to do it after this last 'improvement' to this service?

    Hi GordonPrince,

    You cannot disable the OCR via the web interface, but you can if you convert your files by the reader. Please see How to disable the optical character recognition (O... |) Adobe community.

  • Why not adding css class for table poster red border cell error?

    JavaFX 2.2.21 Java 7.21

    I'm trying to display a red border and a picture on a cell text when an error occurs.

    I took the address book example (example 12-11 http://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2/ui_controls/table-view.htm#CJAGAAEE).

    and also James D solution to my previous question.

    I find that adding a class of css error does not display the red border and the image.

    However, using setStyle this - but it is not preferable, because I want to put the border value by default once the error is corrected.

    In the example below, red border does NOT appear. The 'name' field was changed to salary and must display one error (red border and image) if other thing that an integer is entered.

    If you uncomment the setStyle lines, then it is displayed.

    Note: I use empty.png to erase the image of 'failure' because using - fx-background-image: none; somehow, did not.

    The css Setup is fine. The selector

    .a.b

    Selects elements that have the two class a and class b. Note that in this example, you set the style on the table cell class, not on the text field. So you have the selector

    .table-cell.error

    You can select the cells of a table with text fields that also have the style class 'mistake' set with

    .text-field.error, .table-cell.error

    Best regards

    The CSS editor registrants in red all selectors of skin with ":" in their names because ":" in not allowed by the CSS specifications in the selector names. This does not mean that the system would not recognize these selectors, because the Trinity compiles internally in the correct format. If my suggestion is to ignore the red color in the editor and try the custom skin that you have configured.

  • Flex Bug? "embedAsCff: false ' is not recognized by Flex!

    I have a few fonts embedded in my Flex application. When I run the application, I get the following error:

    warning: incompatible embedded font 'DaxNoCff' specified for mx.core::UITextFormat. This component requires that the embedded font be declared with embedAsCff=false

    The font embedded in my fonts.css file looks like this:

    @font-face {
        src: url('fonts/daxRegular.ttf');
        fontFamily: DaxNoCff;
        embedAsCff: false;
    }

    @font-face {
        src: url('fonts/daxMedium.ttf');
        fontFamily: DaxNoCff;
        fontWeight: bold;
        embedAsCff: false;
    }

    Other fonts that have embedAsCff to the fine, set to true display. Nobody knows the reason why embedAsCff:false is not recognized by Flex?

    I think it is embedAsCFF.

    Hi all, I have developed a Java class that allow me to connect, create, send and receive information to an ActiveMQ queues.
    However, when I loaded this java class Oracle 11 GR 2 (11.2), the java class has failed error message (its status is active and without errors. Is the output I got in SqlDeveloper

    This is the Java class, I've been using

    Do you know what I'm doing in the configuration of Oracle 11 g 2 to do this work. I would appreciate your help.

    Do you have activemq.jar or activemq-Core loadjava in the database with your class? Looks like some ActiveMQ classes lack.
