Notebook charger

How do I get a new cell phone charger? Would I get it from Wal-Mart, or order by phone from HP?

It depends on your model of laptop. Almost all HP accessories can be purchased directly from HP @ http://www.hpshopping.com

Some stores like Best Buy and Staples also take away.

All you need is your charger - PA3822U-1ACA art number.

I don't know how to do where you live, but using this part number, you should be able to find some online store and order it for you. Make sure that you order exactly the same adapter with Toshiba logo on this subject.

  • Satellite A660 - 11 M - Possible to get more small/more lightweight charger?

Very satisfied with my new A660 - 11 M, but find the charger (V85) to be almost too big/heavy to be portable. Its a minus 3 times the size of my old notebook charger (which admittedly gave only half of the current).

The A660 relatively short battery life means I almost always win the my cell phone charger. No clue on the question of whether a more small/more light charger is available?

    > but find the charger (V85) to be almost too big/heavy to be portable

My charger a500 is also great in comparison with other models like Asus, Hp, dell. You should contact the Asp (SAV) and ask them if you can get less size AC adapter

  • HP ENVY notebook: battery not charging!

    Hello

I recently bought a HP ENVY laptop, and I've updated my windows edition to Windows 10.

2 weeks ago, I noticed that my battery no longer works. It does not load: its says "plugged in, load" but its not charging.

now my battery is empty, (say 3%) and my laptop 'nine', which isn't that 2 months, does not come on unless it is plugged.

You have a solution to my problem?

PS: I tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers of the battery from the Device Manager, but nothing happened!

Is it a windows update problem or a battery problem, although my laptop has only 2 months?

Thank you very much for your help!

    Hi there @Rodgee,

Welcome to the HP support community where you can ask questions, find solutions and get help from others in the community! I wanted to join you and help! I understand that your battery will not charge on your HP ENVY laptop PC. You mentioned you tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers and that you are not sure if this is a problem with the battery of Windows updates.

Please make sure that the AC adapter cable is not plugged into a power strip, surge arrester, or secondary power source. It should be directly into a wall outlet.

There are a couple of documents that you can use to try to understand where is the problem. The first one I would say is the document of the battery is not Notebook Power or hold a Charge . If your laptop battery will not hold a charge, you better follow the instructions in this document step by step to fix the battery and see if it needs to be replaced.

You can also use the document test and calibration of the battery (Windows 8) . This will help you determine the status of your battery.

Have you tried to use the HP Support Assistant to download drivers and updates? Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant, if you need it. Simply download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system that needs updating.

This answer doesn't solve your problem or answer your question? If so, please share the good news! Inform others that this answer was helpful by clicking on the button accept as a Solution . You can also show your appreciation by clicking thumbs-up.

If you need assistance, I would be more than happy to continue to help you. Please re-post with the troubleshooting results and include your model number (How can I find my model number or product number?).

    Thank you!

    Have a great day!

  • HP Pavilion g6-2240ea Notebook: plugged in, not charging to help!

    Hello!

I bought my HP Pavilion 2240ea g5 in April 2013. Everything worked smoothly, until I started noticing, he had stopped charging. It works very well with the adapter plugged in, but it will not load. Initially, he read (95% charged, plugged in, does not support), but now it has 0% fee and does not charge. I ran several diagnostics on HP Support Assistant, who said that my battery is fine and is in need of calibration. When testing of charger of HP running, it shows that my charger is charging once more, only for it to end a minute later. I also tried to uninstall the battery software Microsoft in the section battery Device Manager/Programs, but it does not work. I also tried the method of closure, withdrawal of adapter, press and hold the power button / stop, turn on again with the battery, turn on with just battery etc. But it does not work.

He has not charged for about a year now, so even if my battery is almost his second year, he stopped the charge after only one year. I thought must be replaced, but the HP support assistant help desk suggests my battery is very well and is seems not fresh, but only when the diagnostic runs.

I would be grateful for a little of help and advice on if I should just buy a new battery.

    Thank you

    Hi @MegantheRose,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion g6-2240ea Notebook and questions with the load. Here is a link to test and calibrate the battery. Here is a link to test the ac adapter.

I recommend to restore the default BIOS settings. You can restore the BIOS with this document by selecting the reload of the default settings of the BIOS that could help and only updates that go through the HP Support Assistant.

Note Remove all USB devices. Disconnect all devices of non-essential, as these can cause some troubleshooting problems.

Plug the power supply directly to a wall outlet works. Do not connect it a power strip, surge arrester, or secondary power source as this could cause and issue.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you.

  • HP 2000-2d59TU laptop PC: [HP 2000-2d59TU Notebook PC] connected charger, no lights and not charging?

    Hello

It's the first itme Ive used the forums, but I need help.

My laptop computer that ive stayed for 2 years now seems not to load, Ive tried things like putting the battery in and out (seems silly, but some people told me to do), but it does seem that theres no change. Ive checked the wires and the battery and it does not seem to have a problem since there are no cuts, burns or is visible. It's different because it does not show the signs of "blocked, do not load ' vouchers now charger randomly and rarely charge for a few seconds then stops and random times.

Right now the State of my laptop's battery and it still have the problem.

    Thank you.

    Hi there @Venoiix,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome! It is an excellent site to find answers and ask questions. I read your post on the Forums of HP's Support and I understand that your charger is plugged into your notebook PC HP 2000-2d59TU, but the laptop is not supported.

I did some research and found some documents for you according to the problem you described with your battery and it is not not a charge. Two of the document I have provided below will very probably the best to narrow down where the problem comes from.

If the documentation or supplied troubleshooting helps you solve the problem, please click accept as Solution so that the other encounter the same problem can find the easier solution.

Here is a document called battery is no Notebook Power or hold a Charge. If your portable computer battery powers the laptop or will not hold a charge, troubleshoot the battery to see if it needs to be replaced. If the battery does not seem to be the issue please follow the document troubleshooting power supply for laptop .

If the diagnosis says that you will need to purchase a replacement power, make sure that you use the computer model number and check the correct part number for the card in the HP parts store.

Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant, if you need it. Simply download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system that need updated. Sometimes not being up-to-date can cause problems as well.

Please follow these troubleshooting steps, re-post and let me know the results.

    Thank you!

  • HP Pavilion Notebook 15-p119: USB charge, but does not sync devices

    Dear folk to HP support,

I have a situation very similar to the mentioned in this thread, the only difference is my OS: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Software-and-How-To-Questions/VGA-and-USB-Driver-Not-Working/m-...

With any device (iPad, Samsung Galaxy, FIIO x 1), if I plug it into my laptop the device starts to load, but is not synchronized and I can't access or transfer data between the laptop and the device.

I tried to disable the drivers and their reset. I tried to reset hard devices. None of these help.

This laptop came with pre-installed Windows 8.1. I have it wiped and now have a manually installed Windows 10 (64-bit). I have difficulties to find specific drivers. I used the HP support assistant and he tells me that everything is up to date. Windows tells me as the drivers are up to date, but I wonder if the drivers are generic and not specific to this laptop.

Where I find a better driver? Or are there other solutions?

    Thanks in advance.

  • HP ENVY Notebook PC m6: HP Envy does not charge while the laptop is turned on.

    Hello

Well, I'm having some trouble loading with my HP ENVY. My laptop does not load as I'm with her. It will charge, but it does charge when the laptop is closed and sometimes if it has locked and disabled.  I don't know if it would be the battery or the power supply? Maybe something internally?

    Key points

    * Battery charge does that when the lid is closed (sleep mode). **

    * If I close the lid and plug in the charger, the light indicates orange and the battery will deliver to load almost exhaustive *.

    * If I open the lid before the orange light changing to white, battery icon always says: _ % available (plugged in, does not support). **

    * I tried to waste the battery. I removed the battery and the AC adapter is plugged in. I tried to turn on the laptop or don't put in place *.

I don't have to replace anything yet. I was hoping to find out if anyone has had this happen to them before.

    Thank you

New? Don t waste your time trying to fix something on yourself. It is produced and it should work properly.

Contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help. They should pay attention to this topic. For free, of course.
