  Because you will test this point, why not take this as an opportunity to learn how the DBUA is simple to do? Sound far, much easier than the manual upgrade.

  I already mentioned some of the things you forgot in my first answer. Here they are again:

  You will need to manually fix the configuration of your network files. You have to manually manage the spfile and password file to new homes. And you don't have any stage to tell the new directory of Oracle clusterware.

  None of these steps has appeared in your list. Other steps that I can quote are to update the oratab file, manually start all RAC instances, check your services are up and running, recompile invalid objects. In addition, I saw no mention of backups. It is wise to backup before and after the upgrade. The backup before the upgrade is desirable in case the upgrade is very bad. You can return to the old version. The upgrade after upgrade is complete, as expected, a failure occurs, you will not have to redo the upgrade after restoring a pre-upgrade backup.

  That being said, learn to use the DBUA. Let the tools provided by Oracle as a DBA easier. In addition to the economy you time, the DBUA decreases the risk of human error in the upgrade process. Of course, I would go in my bosses office after I missed a db upgrade to see my boss to know that if I used the right tool for the job, the upgrade would not be smooth.

  After weeks of work with the new firmware.587, it's that some of what I've noticed lately.

  1. When you use an application that is designated to be in the landscape, Launcher Home sometimes buggy, it displays a black screen with notifications on top. Once also seems when I got home, my pitcher has got to be in the landscape, which is weird.

  1. LED of Notifications are working for new messages, new messages, missed calls and 3rd party applications.
  2. Incredibly fast Home Launcher, without the lag.
  3. Integration of Facebook for the Xperia is changed with 'Sony-integration of Facebook', nothing has changed except the name.
  4. No lags for recording HD video, even with the Image Stabilizer on (unfortunately, still monophonic audio)
  5. Movies Blu - Ray (720 p HD video, audio 5.1 ch) are now playable without offset (tried using MX Player)
  6. Dialer opens now in 1-2 seconds only, as well as the Smart Dialer feature now works without lag and sound errors.
  7. Contacts are now available more quickly when choosing recipients for SMS.

  To get the orange FF tab, go to view > toolbars > menu bar. This should uncheck the menu bar giving you the orange button.

  Panorama is a box made of 4 gray rectangles which should be on the far right, if not once you activate the orange FF tab, right click anywhere on a toolbar that doesn't has nothing to this topic, and you should get a menu with a list of your toolbars that you can check and uncheck the box. Come on down to personalize everything down and it will open a window with all your buttons. Find groups of panorama/tab button and drag it to the toolbar of your choice.

  Historically this 10ms used to give because it was in the stage of typical disk latency (seek time and rotational latency).

  Some of the most recent published articles tend to use numbers closer to 5 or 6 ms for exactly the same reason.   Return the 13 April., when I checked to see what I had for the updates to install for the month of April, I found it there eight of them, and they are all the preselected, (they had checked in their box).  When I went to install the 19 April., I found the tick was removed from the KB3146706. I did not remove the check mark so assumed that Microsoft has done. I left alone and the other installed seven. This also happened on my wife's computer. Both are Windows 7 Home Premium PC.

  This update is still waiting to be installed, (not), but I don't know what (if any) I should do with it. I did research on the Internet to see if problems have been reported on this update and found nothing.

  Is there anyone else on this Forum, seeing this on their computer? Does anyone have this update installed and do not have problems? Should I just wait and see if the check comes back on its own?

  Any help would be much appreciated.
