  There is an in-app Mail notification system. You can check that it is enabled for your account by:

  Opening of the Mail app

  Updated to iOS 10 and all is well.  The LockScreen, I try to find a way to remove all notifications with a single gesture.  In the Notification Center, there is now a "clear all Notifications," which is great.  However, I would like to clear all notifications without unlocking the phone.  As I see now, I have to drag every individual notification, and then press clear.  It is a pain, especially if there are a bunch of notifications.  Thanks for any help someone can offer.

  Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. After reading your post, I understand that notification sounds do not play while the screen of your iPhone is locked.   How do I turn it off. I don't want people to be able to see my calendar or any other information when the screen is locked. Help, please.

  Another small issue. I went from android to be able to get the images to the iphone, I had to put Android on PC. Then use itunes to synchronize the folder with the images. Now, I had all the images on the iphone. But when I connect the iphone to the computer and go to the folder DCIM, only thing I can see images taken with the camera on the iphone. All the other images, I transferred is not there. How to display? And I don't have any of cloud service, they are all physically on the phone. But in another folder, but I want to be able to see them.

  Your photo is not of Notifications, but the screen today. You will need to disable the calendar widget. Sweep all the way to the bottom of the screen. Press "Edit". Press the Red minus sign next to the calendar.

  You can't do it. Google removed because they considered it is redundant and most of people (don't know why) were offended by this. But often the notification icons would be stripped because of the name in the corner.

  If you pull down the shade (notification bar) with two fingers, you will see the name of the carrier.
