Hello

I created a basic table to save my money in / money for my small business.

Below you can see a screenshot of basic set up:

What I'm after is for the TOTAL (in column G / line 4) to automatically add the D column and subtract column G and for this to continue when I use the short cut 'alt - down arrow' to add a new line / entry.

I formatted line 1 under the heading and line 4 as the footer.

If you have set the 4th place as a footer line, then this formula in G4 should work:

= SUM (D) - SUM (G)

This will adjust automatically when you add or several new body lines and line 4 becomes row 5, etc.

    Add a column with this formula to convert a number representing the number of hours elapsed since the beginning of the day of the time portion of the date and time value. The formula below assumes that the Date and time values in column a.

    B2: = TIMEVALUE (A) * 24

    Fill until the end of the B column.

    In column C, enter these four labels in C2 - C5: in column D,.

    00:00 - 08:00

    08:00 - 12:00

    12:00 - 16:00

    16:00 - 24:00

    In column D, enter the following formula into D2:

    = COUNTIFS($B,">=0",$B,"<8")

    Fill up to D5, and then change the numbers in the formulas to match these formulas:

    D3: = COUNTIF ($B,"" > = 8 "", $B, "< 12" ")

    D4: = COUNTIF ($B,"> = 12", $B, "< 16")

    D5: = COUNTIF ($B,"> = 16", $B, "< 24")

  • Open a CSV file with text fields that begin with '='. How can I force interpreted as formulas?

    I have a simple CSV file, where each line is in the form:

    = B1 + C1, 2, 3

    I want to interpret "= B1 + C1" as a formula.

    I have 1000 lines like this.

    If I double click on the form and add a space at the end, it interprets it as a formula all of a sudden!

    I don't want to select change the first cell of each row in the end.

    How can I get the numbers to convert formulas?

    = B1 + C1, 2, 3 is not a valid formula.

    The formula is intended to add values in column B and column C?

    Type or copy this into the first row (A2 in my case, because I included 1 row as a header row)

    = B2 + C2

    Fill down in column A.

    A screenshot of your table in numbers will help clarify what the CSV file is supposed to do.

    Our Apple store does not offer workshops on it.  I've been using Excel, but I would like a ditch that and go with the numbers.  I do not use it for the trajectory of the missile.  Just a few columns with formulas that add (or divide or multiply) differently.  When I import from Excel, I lose the forms, etc.

  • How to paste special values from excel

    I use tor Excel Mac.

    I was sent a spreadsheet "number". For what I do in Excel I use Copy > click right to "paste special" > values.

    Job done.

    When I try this with the 'Numbers' Clipboard window special dough gives me options of text, HTML, PDF, Unicode text and photo.

    I would greatly appreciate some advice.

    Do the conversion in number.

    "Paste Special > values" in Excel = 'Paste the results of the formulas' in number.

    Here is a document of numbers with a formula in column C

    Select and copy the C column.

    Add another column (D).

    In column D, Menu > edit > paste formula results.

    The values are now real (no formulas).

    Column D to copy and paste into Excel.

    Edit: I use numbers 3.6.1 on OS X El Capitan. If your profile is up to date (and that you use Numbers ' 09) menu is command 'paste values' not 'paste it formula results.

    You want two Tables, placed on separate sheets. When you create two tables, I suggest to put them both on the same sheet. When working to your satisfaction, move the second table to a second sheet.

    You will need a unique identifier for each row in the data table. If more than one session is charged at a telephone number, the phone number cannot be used as a unique identifier. A possible identifier could be the phone number and a serial number indicating the number of sessions charged to this number so far.

    You will need a third table that lists each type of meeting and the hourly rate for this type of meeting.

    If you want to LOCK the table of calculation/billing against accidental changes, consider using a table of separate single cell to enter ID unique to the session being charged.

    Here is an example showing the calculations and the transfer of results to the invoice table.

    Notes:

    Data:

    Columns A, B, C, D and F contain captured data. I suggest formatting of column F (type) as a context menu to choose the type of meeting. This avoids the possibility of typos and ensures the necessary exact match between the entries here and in column A of the table of rate sheet.

    The full date and time value is indicated in columns C and D as a reminder that all cells with Dates, hours or both contain a date and time value complete specifying a single moment in time. If you enter only once, numbers affects the part of the date to the date on which the entry is made. If only one date is entered, numbers affects the time 00:00:00, midnight at the beginning of this date part. You can format these cells to display only some of the time, but be aware that each cell also includes the date on which the entry was created, and this part of the date is included in all calculations involving this cell.

    Column E calculates the length of the meeting by subtracting the start time of the end time. Subtraction (D - C) is encapsulated in a statement IF that removes the calculation until both the departure and arrival times have been entered.

    Column G calculates the price of the meeting by using the meeting Type registered in column F, the rate of this type in the table of rate sheet and the duration of the meeting of the E column. As above, the calculation is contained in an IF statement, which removes the calculation that there is a value in the column length (E)

    Column G calculates a billing code based on the phone number and the number of his appearances in the data table.

    Column A contains a list of the types of meeting. Items in this list must be an exact match with the data entered in the column Type of the data table.

    Column B contains the price per hour for each type of meeting.

    All cells in this table contains the data entered.

    Invoice:

    Billing codes are entered in column a. entered values must be an exact match to a value in column G of table data.

    Columns B, C, D, E and F contain variations of the same formula (listed below).

    The formula uses MATCH () - 1 to determine the data row that contains the data to be included in the invoice and the numbers entered individually to determine the column of data that contains every piece of data to be transferred.

    As above, the OFFSET function is wrapped in a statement IF to quell the calculations until there is an entry in the column A.

    As noted above, Bill can be moved on a slip separated after construction. Numbers of update formulas to account for the change in the location if necessary.

  • I need help to make multiple measurements

    Hello

    I have photoshop cs6 extended addition and told me photoshop would work for the purposes of research, I need, but so far I find it very hard to do what I want.  Basically, I need to be able to meausre several lines (red in the screenshot) an image with accuracy and ensure that the lines I have measure are documented so that they are in fact visiable (so not only with the ruler tool) on the screen and labeled.  Does anyone have an idea how to approach this problem?  See the example image.  I need the lengths (converts to 2 at the bottom of the image micrometer scale).  When I use the info, it gives me the lengths, but I can't save, or look it up at another time.  In addition, when you use the online tool, then by "record" as it does not give me the length of the line, but is rather as it is a thin rectangle and gives me a height (which doesn't seem to be the same if I used the measure tool and put it next to the line, which is an idea I have but not as precise) and a width.  Ideas?

    Here is a solution, it involves only a little math.

    Bring out your lines with the line tool. Right click on the lines and choose to turn their paths in selections.

    Target your background layer. (All your lines must have now 'works of the ants' around them.)

    Record the measurements. (Skip the first one generated as it is just a composite of all records)

    Now,.

    think of each line as a hypotenuse of a right triangle and its registered, width and height as the a and b of the sides of the triangle. Using A squared + B squared = C squared formula for a triangle rectangle you will get the length correct of the lines.

    Now simply plug the numbers into the formula and Wham Bam you have visible lines, you need their exact duration and recordings on a worksheet.

    (who says that the geometry of College was useless...)

    Hello, I have a requirement but do not know what exact command/function should I use to achieve this task.

    Nice Rolling Forecast/actual spending requirement, but it should be remaining budget figures instead of actual expenditures for the period where the actual numbers are not generated.

    Task: for a member of the time, 'Oct - Sep', FY10, real. OCT to dec should be real FY10. + Jan to [ACTMTH] which is the month, until we have actual FY11 (Jun) + [BUDMTH] numbers in MS, which means, the month that we donot have actuals (Jul) up to seven.

    It's the one I thought it would work, but SUMRANGE does not accept 2 parameters before the period range.

  • The product key on the money side of my laptop is striped, and I can't distinguish between two numbers. Help, please.

    Hello. I would like to reinstall Windows Vista on my laptop. Previously, I formatted the HARD drive to install another OS. But now, I would like to go back to Windows. The problem is that two of the 25 numbers on the sticker of the product keys have become illegible due to wear. I know I could install Vista and try different numbers to see if I understand correctly, but there could be many combinations. And with each installation OS taking over 45 minutes, this could be a long process. Is there something I can do? I have the other 23 numbers!

    All you can do now is to ask the manufacturer of the laptop to send you a set of recovery disc for your model computer reinstall the operating system to how it was when new.

    Also while you are in contact with them, if you never receviced a reinstall to purchase drive, ask them how to make the recovery discs to do the same thing, if you still have access to the recovery partition.

    And also how to access the recovery Partition.

    None of these methods of resettlement requires normally allows you to provide a product key during Installation, the recovery process uses the Installation product key factory to activate automatically during the resettlement process.
