  Sorry it wasn't the answer you wanted to hear, but it's something that you just need to treat before iti is resolved.  I would put a bookmark on the page of main support of these links (click back until you get there) and periodically check to see if a solution has been found (or perhaps a work around).  In fact, any questions about Windows Live Mail, you would do well to post in this forum instead of here because they are much more experienced with it, aware of the problems and solutions and quite simply have more people with greater expertise on this product if you are likely to get a better response and more quickly (or even find the solution by searching on the solution and then site forums).

  I'm doing a normal shutdown and numbers will not leave.  I made sure that I have saved/closed everything I was working on. I closed everything on my iMac, but it does not always close.  It doesn't let me log user out or stop, telling me to stop the numbers first.  What should I do?

• HP Photosmart Prem 310a went offline suddenly and will not identify the SSID to run the Network Setup Wizard.

  Chances are Windows found the folder a folder "photo", and explore does NOT show you the date of the modified file.

  Personally, I hate having "automatically" selected multiple views for me, and I tweaked my copy of Windows so that it always shows me the "General items" view all records, be they full of photos or music or something else.

  You can check this by clicking on the name of the folder in the Navigation of Explorer (left), and then selecting Properties.  On the Customize tab, see what it says in the "optimize this folder for:"selector. ".  If it is different from the general items, change it to general Articles.  This gets you a good "Date Modified" column, indicating the date of the file.

  TBird updated to version 31, it will not download the messages of my pop server. I can send, but not download messages. I restored Win (7) at an earlier date to return to the version 24 of Tbird, and everything worked OK.

  TBird later Auto-setting to update itself (ugh!) back to 31, and we don't go again, no E-mail download. I changed the settings to Win firewall, even tried that turned off completely for testing, without any difference. Retarted Tbird and win several times, no go. It's extremely frustrating.   I generated a PDF of markdown by Pandoc (with xelatex as the tex engine); the PDF document contains hyperlinks URLS. One of hyperlinks is a specific address of DOI: doi:10.2307 / 488160. In Adobe Acrobat Reader, this link accurately opens in Firefox (my default browser) and is then solved using a DOI Manager that I have in firefox. Overview, however, will not open the link. When you click, you get just that boing sound error.

  I believe this may have to do with the security aspects of preview that are cooked in the program - what kind of overview is able to open external files.   If this isn't a connected safety side overview, is it possible to adjust preferences overview way treats the links that start by "doi:"? Other ideas.
