  I have an old HP Compaq DC5100 minitour, and I wanted to put in a graphics card instead of using the onboard gfx

  as windows kept alert me that I was running on system resources, and video memory.
  
  So after hunting around the net for a PCI card (PCI-e not that I do not have a slot on the motherboard for it)

  which are very few and far between, but I managed to find a Nvidia Geforce 6200 256 MB PCI card: Nvidia Geforce 6200
  That I jumped into one of the PCI free slots on the motherboard and has pulled up the PC... after a second fans
  closed and the PC started her off 4 short beeps (with a red light flashing in time with the beeps located under)

  the power button on the front of the pc), then stopped for a few seconds and then repeat the 4 short beeps.
  and then continued to do this until I turned off the machine.
  
  So I took then the video card back and put it in the second PCI slot, but the same thing happens again.

  Now, I had to take the graphics card and just plugged my monitor on the port of gfx on board.

  Does anyone know why this graphics card stop the pc to start?

  Or is there something I need to do to get it working?
  
  FOR INFO. I can't even get into the BIOS, so impossible to verify anything in there.

  Good news!

  After taking all the USB devices on my machine and try again once I had no joy as it is the same with the 4 beeps and the PC shut down.

  So I headed upwards in my attic and after opening 3 old PC I got lucky and found an another PSU ATX which had the same dimensions and was a high-end with maximum capacity of 640 watts, so I it inverted and put the graphics card back in and connected USB devices , and then press the power button...... ..  .  This time there was no beep and the computer =)
  
  This is certainly the graphics card needed more energy than the 300 Watt who was originally in the machine.

• Satellite A100178/Geforce Go 7300 problem with LCD resolution 1680 * 1050?

  Hello

  I have a Toshiba A100178 pc (PSAA9). My question is about a new LCD from NEC P221W, that has a native resolution of 1680 * 1050. However, I can't put this resolution on my Toshiba A100178 machine (PSAA9).

  I have attached a CRT SONY earlier unfolding at 1600 * 1200 with no problem at all.

  It appears a Geforce Go driver (7300) issue when I google it. Somehow has the "lost" pilot the resolution 1680 * 1050. I tried some older versions of the driver (such as 179,48 most recent NVIDIA, 84.68 website to download from Toshiba site) without any help, the LCD insists clocked at 1280 * 1024. It is the highest resolution in display--> settings properties. Surely I would run my LCD to its optimal resolution.

  I also tried NVIDIA Control Panel--> change the resolution and create a customerize resolution of 1680 * 1050, but nothing's happened there either. I can't just create such a resolution.

  Any idea please? Thank you very much for your help!

• Audio output using the USB connector problem

  I use a USB connector to connect with Audio output. It's because my headphones Jack does not work.

  It worked without problems so far.

  My problem is that there is no output from my laptop to this USB device. The music plays and can be heard on the laptop. Connections (USB device & son) of the laptop work.

  I'm ising Vista home versio

  Try this:

  With the USB speaker connected, right click on the speaker icon on the tray (right), left click on 'sounds '. On the tab 'Read' the USB speaker should be listed, click to select it, and then click the button "set as default". Click the OK button to exit.

  Alternatively, you can go to control panel, Sound.

  If your application works on OS 5.0, it should work on OS 6.0 with a few tweaks here and there.

  I get the following error when I try to run the scheduled task "Exchange User Distribution Group research reconciliation":

  oracle.iam.connectors.icfcommon.exceptions.IntegrationException: connector ConnectorKey (bundleName = Exchange.Connector bundleVersion = 2.0.0.1 connectorName = Org.IdentityConnectors.Exchange.ExchangeConnector) not found

  I could solve this problem to patch the Exchange Server to Exchange 2007 SP3. Here are the requirements in the documentation of the Exchange Connector.

• Outlook Connector problem

  How to configure the e-mail settings manually after you download Outlook Connector.  I use a pobox.com e-mail address that forwards to my msn.com address.  After that I downloaded the connector, I was unable to provide a "reply to" address or change my outgoing server as I have had for years.  When you open Outlook 07, choose Tools, then account settings, highlight the email account created by connector, and then choose the change, there is only 1 screen opens.  On this screen, the only changes that I do are for my password.  It is no longer a box to check to manually configure e-mail account settings.

• NVIDIA geforce 9800 gt problem

  My graphic screen developed defects. I tried different drivers and system restores and checked for viruses without success to find a solution. Games informs me that the accelerator is turned off or not supported. Hardware diagnostic tells me detected driver problem and windows has stopped with the code 43. (I can't find help with this). I checked the compatibility, but he has again without problem. Now, the computer is very slow because of this error. Do I have a hardware problem or software and can be solved easily. Pointers as I take will be appreciated. Bill.

  1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

  2. What is the exact error message when receiving when you play?

  3. have you installed the latest drivers from Nvidia website graphics card?

  Error code 43 means Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems.

  I suggest that you download and install the latest drivers for the graphics card on the Nvidia site, if you have not done, using the link below and check it if it works manually.

  If the motherboard has an internal graphics card, then you can also remove the card from the computer and run using the built-in graphics card and check if it works.

• Activation of connector problem

  I tried to deploy to workspace several times and I get this error if I use an internal or external database. Can anyone help?

  

  I deleted the vCenter server extensions to install previous, I used the Postgres DB external vFabric, changed dns servers names will. Is there something else to try?

  I ended up redeployment with totally different IP addresses, and it worked. I could have a conflict of IP address or something. Thanks for the help!

• Apache 2.2.2 Jrun 4 WinXP - Apache connector problem.

  I configured the external Web server using the Web Server Configuration tool. I recut all artifacts like httpd.conf, etc. Everything seems fine. I started JRun and Apache several times. "C:/JRun4/lib/wsconfig/1/mod_jrun20.so" is present. I can't get rid of the error.

• Connector hard drive problem...

  Hello

  I have a HP mini 210 (vivienne Tam version) and recently he began to fade just for no reason.  Discovered by experimentation that whenever you press the connector on the hard drive (inadvertently or not), the netbook goes off instantly and requires a reboot hard to go again...  Anyone has any experience with this and you simply think to replace the hard drive connector would solve the problem?

• CFS3 on windows 7 Graphics problem

  I'm sure that my pc should be able to play. It can handle modern warfare 2 very well. It has a nvidea geforce 7600gs.

  Intell pentium 4 3.0 Ghz + 1256 mb of ram. When I run it, it starts all the icons to shuder pannals affter 3 seconds and goes black every 2 seconds. I put it to run in Windows xp sp2 and admin in the compatibility properties. would really like to have an answer.

  This could happen if one of the substantive programmes is in conflict with the proper functioning of the game. To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

  The steps to perform a clean boot are given below:

  1 log on to the computer using an account with administrator rights

  2. click on start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility.

  If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue

  3. on the general tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the check box load startup items. (The check box use the file Boot is not available.)

  4. on the Services tab, click to select the skin all the Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all

  Note: Following this step lets services Microsoft continue to run. These services include networking, Plug-and-Play, record of events, error reporting, and other services. If you disable these services, you can permanently delete all restore points. Do not do this if you want to use with existing restore points system restore utility

  3. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart

  You can also try to reduce the resolution of the screen and check if that helps. To change the screen resolution

  1. click on the Start button

  2. go in Control Panel

  3. under appearance and personalization, click on adjust the screen resolution

  4 adjust and check if that helps.
