NVidia 7900 driver cannot install on Windows XP Home edition

Hello!

I have a strange problem. When I am trying to install new drivers for FX 7900, it says hardware not found. The computer works well with adults, but I want to update. Could someone help me? Thanx, Stepan

Or you can try the omega drivers, which is also a very nice page for videodrivers:

http://www.OmegaDrivers.NET/
OmegaDrivers.net - home of the Omega Drivers for desktop/laptop ATI & NVIDIA cards.

Their INF´s are modified so that they coincide on mobile systems...

Have a nice weekend

I upgraded my card mother cpu ram and hard drive. I reinstalled windows xp home edition has got all of the updates. After 9 latest updates download and installtion was going well until I rebooted the computer and go to page window showing all the icons that I get a blue screen and the computer restarts its self and does not stop. How can this be corrected?

    Hi KevinRy,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

    Unplug all external devices.

Try to start in safe mode. If you can start in safe mode, and then do a system restore to restore the computer to an earlier point in time.

Change the recovery settings to disable automatic reboot, if you are able to boot up to the desktop computer:

    1.

Right-click my computerand then click Properties.

    2.

    Click the Advanced tab.

    3.

Under Startup and recovery, click settings to open the Startup and recovery dialog box.

    4.

Clear the automatically restart check box, and then click OK many times necessary.

    5.

Restart your computer so that the settings take effect.

Now, when you are going to close and a fatal error occurs, you will see at least and it won't cause an automatic restart.

Please reply back with the error message you get because it helps us to resolve the error.

    Kind regards

I recently installed Windows XP Home Edition on my PC and I don't know if I'm away from all the drivers. Everything SEEMS to work fine, but I just want to know if I do any driver installs.

Right mouse on my computer, properties, select hardware then click on Device Manager look here on the devices if you see point exclamation or question marks on one of them or more, then you should correct the error by installing the correct driver for these devices, and if you don't see anything. • Tecra A2 - new drive HARD and have no idea of installing the drivers of Windows XP Home edition

Hi all, have not been here in a while...

Where should I start... Have Tecra A2 and the HARD drive died on this issue... was not able to recover whatever it's him so bought a new HARD drive.

Rather than taking it to a repair shop, I would like to re - install Windows XP myself, save money and have a clean install.

I know that I have to download the drivers from downloads for Tecra, but haven't a clue as to who and the most appropriate.
Could someone be so kind and point me in the right direction to get my operating system again?

    Thank you.

  • A disc of Installation of Windows 7 Enterprise can repair a Windows 7 Home Edition

    Hello world

I have a laptop which is installed with Windows 7 Home Edition. Suddenly, it cannot be successfully started and required a system repair with an installation disc, which I am not one. However, I have 32-bit and 64-bit Windows Enterprise drive for my desktop PC. I can use it to repair? It will modernize the phone accidentally and delete all existing files?

  • Satellite P10-804 - recover to out of box (Windows XP Home Edition)

Hi friends, this computer has been pre-installed with Windows XP Home Edition. Several years ago, I installed Windows XP Professional. Well I just did a complete installation, return to the publishing house.

One of the first things I download WinZip, as I would expect a lot of updates, installation of WinZip has failed because he said some parts of missing words or not compatible Windows for this purpose. I have all the original disks, but don't know what to update first, although I am trying to install Service Pack 2, no idea what to do?

    Thank you, colin

PS: I did it because it was very slow, could take 15 minutes before I could use it and now it takes 45 seconds to load.

    Hey,.

To be honest, it's a bit confusing

If you want to restore your laptop to factory settings you must boot from the Toshiba recovery disc. It is a boot disk and you have to follow the instructions on the screen to restore the factory settings.

Toshiba Recovery disk erase the whole HARD drive and then unpacking settings will be restored with all the drivers and tools for your laptop is ready for use after the Toshiba recovery disc.

    It works for you?
