I've installed the drivers and software from nvidia but the vga standard on wrinkles it graphics card... I tried to update the driver with the nvidia driver and it says the best driver for your device software is already installed windows has determined the driver software for your device is up to date... "graphic card vga standard" without appropriate drivers for my graphics card windows works like crud... I can do... I tried to stop the windows update automatically install device drivers and who did nothing... as soon as the computer restarted, it installed the driver vga... even in safe mode remains the same

Thanks for your time

There is no drivers Windows 7 for the GeForce FX 5500.

You need a new graphics card. Until then, VGA Standard is all you can get.

Hi, I want to install a new graphics card on my desktop pc HP 120-011 in . My office is currently integrated Intel HD graphics 4400 . I recently bought a Nvidia Geforce GT 710 graphics card, but when I inserted in a PCI-E port, the pc is not able to detect it. So here's my questions-

    1. why this graphics card is not detected by my pc?

    2. then the 180 Watts PSU, which is installed on my system to manage this card? If not, should what power supply I buy?

Its emergency, quick reply pls. Thanks for the help.

    Hi there @Abhishek_India,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!  I understand that you are having problems with an update of the graphics card.  I'm happy to give you a helping hand with this.

Looking at the map you want to use: GeForce GT 710 specifications, it shows the following: Minimum System Power requirement (W) 300. This means you want to preferably a power supply in your computer that exceeds this amount, just to be sure.

Please let me know if it works for you and if it does not solve your problem, please mark this message as a solution. Bravo would be appreciated as well.

    Hey,.

    > but without success.
Does that mean exactly? You get an error during installation or what exactly is going on?

    > Only safe mode is available after the installation of this driver
Why only safe mode is available? What happens if you start Windows in normal mode?

And before you start a lengthy discussion: what laptop do you have?

You may notice no problem if you install Windows recovery disk Toshiba?

  • Reference Dell Desktop-replacement for Nvidia GeForce GTS 240 graphics card

Nice day. I hope an expert can help me.

My computer: Desktop computer Studio XPS 8100 Dell, intel Core i7 870 2.93 GHz, 8 MB, etc.
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 240 single memory 1 GB. Reading, not sold at retail and is now no longer available.
Unit of power: 350 Watt maximum.

I do not use the computer to play games.

For various reasons, you can Please provide DETAILS for me a graphics card in replacement of approximately the same 'power' +. I can myself, slot load driver and be operational. Don't not changing other pieces (I hope) and there seems to be so many available graphics cards.

I hope for the purchase of the graphics card via Internet, British supplier and then abroad for me.

In the meantime, thank you for your help.

Hi Skanter - just saw this message-hope it comes in time

I had this problem with mine - it was also to achieve 90degC. It is caused by a really poorly designed cooling system - the fins of the radiator are locked behind a metal shield and the fan blows into it.

What you need to do is: -.

    (1) turn off and unplug everything from the PC

    (2) open the side panel and disconnect the audio cables and power of GPU

    (3) remove the mobo

    (4) with the help of a tiny posidrive screwdriver, unscrew the thin metal cover of heat sink

    (5) use a brush to remove all the dirt you may see! DO NOT BLOW IT OUT WITH YOUR BREATH!

    (6) reassemble and hopefully enjoy the silence!

If you still get the noise the chances are some dust penetrated fan (this happened to me when I used compressed air to blow the heat sink). Replacement fans are as rare as horse poop to switch I could not even one of the original manufacturer (path to the bottom of the chain - don't expect any help from Dell or nVidia here, I'm afraid) but are thankfully easy to fix.

    GTS 240 fan fix: -.

I do memory-sorry if I get something slightly wrong!

    (1) remove a map as shown above. Once the radiator fan cover will be exposed.

    (2) very gently, using a pair of small screwdrivers hanging under the blower rotor, gently lift the rotor clear of the case. He doesn't want to go at first, but be patient and try and apply steady pressure on each side.

    3) out of the bearing once clean any muck-it only takes a small amount here because of the noise.

    4) applied with a headset, a tiny (and I mean tiny) bit of WD40 (don't know what this is called in the United States-but it's a wonder spray!) for the bearing

    (5) wipe off - you'll need that the strict residue on the tree

    (6) reassemble and get started!

If you are worried about prising off the rotor (or indeed I was wrong) you can undo the radiator all of PCB by unscrewing the screws with springs on them - this allows access to the screw bit to hold the fan. Then you can cancel these abd slide the cable out which means that you can clean the bottom - but the rotor must always be removed to lubricate the bearings.

    Good luck

  • Photoshop CS5 trouble with Nvidia GeForce 8500 GT graphics card

I use a Nvidia GeForce 8500 GT and Windows Vista graphics card. Also, I downloaded the latest driver from Nvidia site
and installed correctly. After you start Photoshop CS5 first, everything works perfectly. Also when I close the program and restart, no problems occure.

If I restart my computer, start the CS5 Photoshop software and open a picture from an existing file, the image may not be displayed on the screen. Also if I start a new file (click file - new-...) the white drawing card is not displayed. The only thing I see is the color of gray background, but also leaders. The thumbnail of the image open or white card drawing is displayed in the browser normally window and there is no error message at all.

If now I reinstall the NVIDIA driver, restart my computer and launch Photoshop CS5, it works again all perfectly. To run Photoshop CS5 on my computer, so I need to install the NVIDIA driver already installed after each reboot.

Maybe there's a solution by changing the parameters of VRAM in Photoshop?

First disable the opengl and see what happens. If it helps, maybe set to "basic". On a sidenote: the latest drivers are not always the best.

  • NVIDIA Geforce GT640 good graphics card for PrE10 despite the bandwidth low memory?

Can anyone confirm that the nVidia Geforce GT640 is a reasonable graphics for first 10 Elements and Photoshop Elements 10?

The person who set up my office of 3770K Core i7 with 16 GB of RAM at 1600 mHz installed map GT640 nVidia with 2 GB memory DDR3. He said that it was a good (low cost) card for video editing because it has 384 CUDA cores - very useful for video editing. I'm pretty ignorant on graphics cards, but as the power consumption low, 65 watts and deemed cool temperature resistance. I have read since DDR5 memory would have been much faster due to a higher bandwidth memory - say 80-90 GB per second compared to 28.5 Gb per second for DDR3 memory on the GT640 map. I've been after use of economic power. DDR5 memory cards use 110 watts upward and run a lot hotter than the DDR 3 cards, all other things being equal. Really fast cards require a special power and cooling.

Does anyone know if the bandwidth limited memory is important in video editing? Speed is much more critical in the game than in video editing? Are other attributes such as 384 hearts CUDA, synchronization of nvenc, dedicated encodment, 28nm architecture Kepler, frame buffer of memory 2 GB, 1.3 billion transistors, many units of texture - more important than bandwidth memory in video editing? Limited by memory bandwidth DDR3 affects the image quality?

I read that the GT640 would be much faster (producing the best image quality?) as the HD4000 integrated Intel graphics processor Core i7 Ivy Bridge. Is it so?

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and all programs are installed on a SSD 120 GB OCZ Agility 3. My data drive is a 1 to 7200 RPM Seagate SATA 3. I have a nice 21 inch ASUS LED monitor and recorder blu - ray LG vs228n.

I did a lot of editing with PrE 3 with a desktop Dell 3.06 gHz hyperthreading and Win XP. The output and even control the preview was clear and stable. I'm continuing to capture a mini tape dv standard definition of a 3 months Panasonic handycam FireWire, but plan to upgrade to HD 3MOS to flash memory. I do really small control - about 7cm wide - PR10 screen, because the quality of the preview image is much poorer than the quality I experienced with the first elements 3 with Win XP program. This is just an indication of the memory gain in pre 10 previews? I expect the output to be much higher, although still mpeg2-DVD quality until I update my camera. I put the record on the maximum bit rate.

In any case, despite these reservations with the quality of the preview, the GT640 seems very well on stage. Quality of the image in Photoshop, and online on my computer is excellent.

I updated the driver nVidia yesterday to version 306.23 display.

Almost all graphics cards forums are subject of the game. I hope to see more forums on graph editing here.

What do you think of the 2 GB nVidia GT640 for editing with 10 pre-Photoshop Elements 10? How about image quality in the pre 10 monitor compared to the quality of the production? Quality of the image in the monitor of the PrE 3 sharper and more stable, because I imagine?

    Regards, Phil

Premiere Elements is not chart-map-dependent. You should be fine. In fact, finer.

I went to very difficult to leave my boyfriend to buy this pc.  First of all, that we now live in different countries.  I live in the United States and he lives in England.  We met on a PS3 game online called DUST 514 and played a lot of pc games together as well.  It is difficult to have to steal it back, but we're getting married soon and I'll come to England.  He needs a new PC for years and was jealous of my Alienware Aurora R4. So I decided to buy one that is still better than mine since it's even greater player I am . This will also allow us to play more games together .

Then I he wired the money and thought that everything would be ok, but you wouldn't believe the amount of screw - rises, that Dell threw on him!  They had even cancel a bunch of commands of the peoples, b/c, trying to control his spec-ed on Alienware has revealed a major screw-up affecting many clients... (Sorry, it made me delete/modify-this until his order passes through.  Dell representatives were concerned about what happened past.  I don't know if they told people that they had to cancel the real reason why orders and the possible impact on customers with currently Alienware Aurora...  I'll tell you what they have done after that his order is finally through.  Just a hint... inside your Alienware Aurora, check if you own to make sure that everything you ordered is actually there...)  He tried to do this for a week now...  I thought Dell was a little better than that... I knew they had bad grades, but really?...  In any case, it is a complete system stressed mess of it all back and on phone calls and e-mails with different people of Dell.  So I thought that, if it still manages to get the Alienware, maybe I can do even better!

He really should have an SSD, so I'll get a. He was talking and drool on the maps of Titan, so I'll give him two EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN Superclocked 6 GB GDDR5 2DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort PCI - Express cards in SLI config! : http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-06gp42791kr

I've never built a pc or tinkered with all hardware.  I want to make this even more impressive pc by adding an SSD.  I think I can install an SSD without any problem (I want the Samsung 849 EVO Mz-7TE1T0BW 2.5 "1 TB SSD)... Oops... I just thought of something... 4 TB SATA is actually 4 2 TB SATAs, put in place with 2 as the mirror...  I think that there are only 4 connectors for extension for SSD/HDD... Is this correct?  I have to replace one of the SATAs 2 TB with the 1 TB SSD?  What configuration I would define then the three SATAs 2 TB?  Would it be to say that he would have only 1 TB SATA? Could I set up so that it has SATA 1.5 TB (with SATAs split with half active and part of the half of the mirror for a RAID configuration)?  Furthermore, I have really no idea what RAID is or fact, just that you only half of total storage really active and the second half is as a backup in case of failure of a disk or something to avoid any data loss total... It is also the thing that I'm confused about that I don't know if it is also possible to install two graphics cards of Titan in SLI configuration on the micro ATX motherboard, I guess its Alienware Aurora will be, and still less 1 Titan.  Yes I know it is exaggeration lol, but the game is very important for us, especially since this is how we met.

Sorry for the long post... Finally, the MAIN POINT & QUESTION:

I have to install a different motherboard like the Asus Rampage Black Edition IV: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-rampageivblackedition in order to install two Titan GPU in SLI configuration?  If so, how this O_o...?  Also, I heard that there is a 'girl' Council that controls the Alien FX LED lighting and ventilation Active... How to connect to the new motherboard (if I need to get a new one)?  Also if I get the other motherboard (if this motherboard work with everything) this motherboard would have space for 4 x 2 TB RAID 1 + 0 and the 1 TB SSD SATAs?

    Please answer.  Thanks, ~ value

to install two Titan GPU in SLI configuration?

Don't know why you config-ed with two years 780 in SLI if you want two Titan-SLI but this guy did:

    http://en.community.Dell.com/Owners-Club/Alienware/f/3746/p/19512935/20402844.aspx#20402844

Personally, I'd keep just 780 - SLI, since the two configs end up being very similar to the performance. Either they're going run hot (in the game of max.).

  • Satellite P100 - nVidia Geforce Go 7600 graphics card crashed

    Hello!

My graphics card is broken down, and after removing dozens of screws, I checked that it is not built into the motherboard. I could he dismantled after removing the screws of the bottom three.
    -My laptop is a Toshiba P100-342 (PSPA3E-0QE038SP)
    · Here you can see the model number: http://imageshack.com/a/img856/1917/6s6f.jpg
-The graphics card is a nVidia Geforce Go 7600.
    · Here you can see on the motherboard: http://imageshack.com/a/img834/5825/ktl8.jpg
    · And there, alone on the table: http://imageshack.com/a/img839/3525/6of6.jpg
    · It's the nVidia chip: http://imageshack.com/a/img836/4343/q7lg.jpg

Research in the internet, I found just 1 card graph similar to mine. But I don't know if it will work, because I read that the devices must be exactly the same as the original:

    c918 http://www.eBay.es/ITM/New-Toshiba-A000013050-NVIDIA-G73M-128MB-GeForce-Go-7600-Video-Graphics-Board-/360821279000?PT=PCC_Video_TV_Cards&Hash=item54029f & _uhb = 1

I asked the seller eBay on compatibility and his answer was: "Please contact Toshiba for the complete product compatibility." But Toshiba does not provide any support after the expiration of the warranty (in Spain).

Anyone replaced this graphics card? Do you think I should buy the graphics card of this ebay? Are there other solutions? (for example: replacing the entire motherboard...)

    Thanks a lot in advance.

I never had to replace a graphics card in a notebook, but I wouldn't buy any part if I m not 100% sure if it would be compatible with my laptop.

Is that SATELLITE P100-342 was equipped with a NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 (name of code G73M) PCI Express x 16 (GDDR2 dedicated 256 GB RAM) graphics card.

The part on ebay supports 128 MB only and that's why I think that the two parties are not the same.
This might be the reason not to buy this piece.

  • Nvidia GeForce GTX 590 graphics card problem

My problem of computers is my graphics card, I think. The monitor turns off and I have to be turned off the computer, or sometimes the comp will itself cut off and restart... Strange thing is that I thought that the graphics card just has a bug or something and need the new driver, so I got it. Still having the same problem... How can I do to understand this problem? I'm decent with computers. Not good with hardware, decent with the Windows OS even if...

Unfortunately, this kind of graphic problems can be difficult to understand without swapping out things to rule out possible causes.

Another thing I'd do it without a doubt, uninstall ALL nvidia drivers let your standard with VGA boot machine and then install the most recent drivers.
Sometimes the graphics drivers can go a little funky if you make a room upgrade. (install a newer straight on top)
and yeh, you're right, games does not work in safe mode. so it's hard if it does not systematically when normally comes in windows.
Make updates to the driver through the Device Manager will sometimes not collapse the best driver (for charts especially), I strongly recommend to do it directly from the nvidia site.
  • nVIDIA GeForce Fx 5500 256 MB AGP Graphics Card Drivers for Windows 8 Pro 32-Bit

Hi!, I have motherboard ECS P4M800Pro M2 Ver2.0, 2.2 GHz E4500 processor Intel Core2DUO, DDR2 533 MHz 2 GB RAM hardware with WINDOWS 8 32 Bit operating system. The motherboard has 64 MB S3 UniChrome Pro IGP.

Further to have better graphics during the game, I bought recently NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 256 MB AGP 8 x video card. Since I installed this card, windows has installed its driver game by default "Microsoft generic display drivers" and the quality of the graphics is off nominal. Also the 1366 x 768 resolution widescreen is currently not available. The best resolution I have now is 1024 x 768. In this resolution, the graphics of Windows seems very strange on my LG 19 "widescreen monitor.

I tried to install the graphics card drivers on the NVidia site for the old version of Windows, but the drivers are installed with an error message "Pilot" not Compatible with this Version of Windows.

By default windows drivers has release date older than the drivers supplied on OEM for Windows XP.

Please help me to get the drivers for the AGP card compatible with my Windows 8 Pro.

Or how can I force install the older drivers in Windows 8.

    Hi Amit,

Windows 8 compatibility reports that NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 graphic card is compatible with Windows 8. Check out the link

You can check if you have downloaded the 64 bit version of the graphics driver rather than 32-bit.  It could be the possibility for this error message.

Or select the option on the Nvidia site to scan your system to find the correct driver?

    http://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

If you still receive an error message that the driver is not compatible, then you try to install the driver in compatibility mode.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Program-Compatibility-Assistant-FAQ#1TC=Windows-8

If this does not help, I suggest you check with the NVIDIA support.

Oops... .the everything in the title... My apologies!

Tips for Lightroom 6 help indicates again that if "using a graphics card AMD/ATI under Windows 64-bit with the AMD Catalyst driver 15.7 and Lightroom CC/Lightroom 6 hangs or crashes during launch or when you edit an image in the develop module.»  This problem may occur when you use AMD Radeon HD 5xxx card graphics series 8xxx running versions of pilot 14.501.1003, 14.502.1014 and 15.200.1062.1004. For the Solution of the page install the AMD Catalyst 15.8 Beta Driver for Windows (posted August 31, 2015).  However, there are now a 16.1 driver... would this work with Lightroom 6buttons Photpshop CC without problem or should I stay with 15.8 beta for Windows driver (Windows 8.1.

    Thank you very much

    Hi Paul,.

This article was created when users have faced problem with old drivers for AMD graphics card.

Yes, you can upgrade to the last 16.1 pilots and who should work well however, you should have 1 GB VRAM or more to take advantage of the GPU processors.

    Kind regards

  • Cannot install VISTA on Satellite A100 graphics card driver

    Hi all

    I need help.
I just installed Windows Vista Ultimate on my Satellite A100-326, (series PSAA9). This system has a graphics card from NVIDIA® GeForce Go 7300 with 256 MB dedicated memory that has worked very well on Windows XP MCE!
The default graphics card driver does not work, so I downloaded the new driver for VISTA from Toshiba.
Don't just install! I always get the following message: "the NVIDIA installer didn't find all the drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. The installation program will now stop. »
We know what the problem might be?
Did someone encountered the same situation?

    It's really frustrating...

    Thank you
    Jota

    Hi Jota

Please check the different view on the same driver problem.

Try to download the driver again and see your results. Thanks ;)

  • Upgrade of Windows 8 has changed my graphics card driver, & now I get vertical bars on the screen.

Upgrade of Windows 8 has changed my graphics card driver, & now I get vertical bars on the screen, sometimes flashing. It is sometimes difficult to use the screen, especially when it has a dark background. It is a HP Desktop quad core with card Nvidia GEForce 9600.  I tried to roll back the driver, but that didn't help. I assume that the driver I need is no longer available. I also went to Nvidia to try to find a better driver that would eliminate this problem, but no luck.  Before, this came with an update on Vista, & I could correct in the way to roll back the driver. Any help would be appreciated.

Go to www.nvidia.com and download the WHQL 306,97 drivers updated successfully.

With the installation of Windows 8, Microsoft provides only the "bare" minimum drivers in order to complete the installation of Windows.
