NVIDIA GeForce GT 85 - error code 43

I'm not trusting Microsoft more like today I installed an update for the graphics card NVIDIA GeForce GT 85 and stopped Vista map function with error 43.  I never install optional updates and will buy a Mac computer next time I get a new computer.  I tried reinstalling the driver has been updated without success.  What is the error code 43 and how can I fix my card?  There is nothing wrong with the card up to that during the installation of the blackened some times display update.  It was obviously the cause of the card being disabled.

Thanks in advance!

Try the system restore.

You re sitting the card?

  • NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 code 19 error

    Hello

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit and have encountered a problem with the graphics drive. There is an exclamation mark next to the NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 in the graphics card and the error message is "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its information of configuration (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19) »

It is up to date and there is no driver to restore. I uninstalled it and upon restarting, Windows successfully installed the driver, but the exclamation mark is still there. It has been suggested that I choose option 2 here to search for the drivers and Graphics Driver 280.26 has been found to install, but it made no difference. I don't know if it's important that I tried to uninstall it once before and selected the 'remove the software for the device option', but who do not select the second time.

When I select 'check for solutions' in Device Manager there are two long files that describe the error. I downloaded here and here.

The only problems is originally so far (or at least I suppose is caused by this because it happened at the same time) is that I can't select 1440 x 900 for a resolution of the screen so my screen is off, and I can put my computer in mode 'sleep'. Sleep is grayed out in the options. Any help is very appreciated. Thank you!

So, after two weeks of multiple uninstalls, reinstall, install clean, destruction of registry, driver, using different drivers sweepers, spend time with the customer of NVIDIA and passing by each troubleshoot I could Google, I removed the HP Portrait display 1.4 update and now all is well. That had been installed AFTER that I started having the problem with NVIDIA so I guess it started as a small bug (the driver for my mouse also stopped working at the same time as the graphics card, but that was a simple fix) that the HP update is impossible to fix.

    Thanks for your help, Paul!

  • 43 after device error code Windows update application yesterday.

After that Windows application updated yesterday, Windows disabled my Nvidia GeForce 6800 graphics with code 43. I reinstalled the latest Nvidia drivers, but the error persists. I tried to uninstall the update, but still the Windows system restore fails no matter how far back, I try.

Error code 43 is a driver error. Did you install optional updates Windows (such as the graphics driver)? If so, uninstall the graphics driver update, reboot and reinstall the Nvidia driver.

  • error code 43 on VISTA/nVIDIA GeForce 8600 M GS

Hello! Starting last week, my laptop from reporting error 'nvlddmkm"with the recovery of the system (after a Windows update, as I remember). Two days ago, that the system could not retrieve any longer, crashing all the imediatley of time after loading the screen saver. Witout the screensaver, it was crashing after at least 20 min. I tried to install/uninstall drivers, clean records, clean the fan, the upgrade of drivers, and now the graphics card error 'code 43 '. Verification of memory has been authorized. The video card is not dead, living only to the lowest resolution possible. Do you have any suggestions what do I do next? Thank you very much!

I just spent a few days playing with a DV9000 series laptop.  If you have one of them, I think it's the beginning of the end.  Essentially what is happening, it of overheating video and manages to melt the solder on the video chip partially disconnected from the latter.  That's why it will work sometimes and not others.  The DV9000 video search opens a multitude of people with this problem and some "fixes" that are not for the faint hearted.

It is not only the DV9000, still designed for laptop series will be the problem.  Dell, HP and same Mac have the video chip that causes the problem.

HP had a class action suit in the USA but it is now closed.  One of the problems is that the CPU and GPU share one fan and radiator and it is simply not enough.  Very poor design.  In the United Kingdom there is no help at all.  NVIDIA do not seem to be something good http://www.nvidiasettlement.com/

Here is a list of the machines covered by the lawsuit.  http://www.nvidiasettlement.com/affectedmodels.html

If you are not in the United States, you are out of luck.  I'll just throw this DV9000 to rest.

  • Error code 31 with the Nvidia GeForce 9800 S cards. _

I don't remember having this problem when I first got this HP Firebird 802 more than a year before, but now when I go into the Device Manager I have a problem. Under graphics cards, both my NVIDIA GeForce 9800 S graphics cards have the yellow exclamation mark next to them. When I right click and go to properties, for them, it says "this device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31). "I tried the program Microsoft Fix that automatically detects and solves the problem, or if it is said and he reinstalled the drivers and made me restart my computer but it does not and did not work (I tried about three times now). Nothing comes from google for this problem, and I fear the worst. I don't know if this has ruined my graphics capability for games such as Fallout 3 and SC2, but they really don't work as smooth as I think they would on average settings.

    SPECIFICATIONS OF THE PC:
    Vista x 64-bit, up to date (SP2)

    Hey, Adnan,.

Ive been upgraded my laptop and updated my ram and hard drives, and bought a Nvidia Geforce GTX 980 m update kit. I know not how to change video and easily installed maps (grounding prevent me electrostatic and protect the card). passed to the map intel before the upgrade and after the first device manager start that he read as standard VGA adapter and its status is that it wouldn't start. I updated my bios and updated the driver for the pilot to 980 m from nvidia and changed the graphics card to the new by using the fn + f7 command and rebooted my computer.

at the start he gave me a blank screen and the 8 beep error code. He looked up and I think it's a faulty card or bad memory on the card. contacted eurocom support and they think that there's a way to get it to work but I'm not so sure. It's the weekend, so they don't come back to me until Monday. someone at - it experience with this or know what I can do now? I am currently back on my card to 660 m.

Everything you did before but not FN + F7 at the end. However, I'd install drivers Nvidia from Dell this time. The last Dell has is either 347.52 (WHQL-quality; you can get this driver from the Alienware support page 13/15/17 R2 on the Dell support site) or 350,12 (beta for Dell). There are also 347.90, but it is quite difficult to find a complete driver for this driver.

When you uninstall the drivers of the GPU, use DDU. It's just a more sure way to uninstall the drivers.
