NVIDIA instalation problem

The nVIDIA Setup program could not located all drivers compatible with your current hardware.

HP Pavilion dv6565us computer laptop windows 7 32 bit.

Hello:

According to the plug of your model page, it does not come with a graphics card from nVidia, but an Intel GMA X 3100 instead.

The Vista driver should work... I don't see a 32-bit version.  If you need a 64-bit version, please let me know and I'll see if a driver 64 bits of another model will work.

Only using three DIMMs will force the PC to run in single channel mode.

Your first consideration should be Support HP or HP sales during the consideration of upgrades or replacement of memory. If you want to consider other manufacturers of the best way to avoid memory problems is to contact one of the leading manufacturers of memory. I would recommend that you try the tools of these manufacturers: Corsair, Kingston andCrucial. Once you have determined the DIMMs that you need, then contact commercial or technical support to check that you have selected the correct DIMMS. If you buy directly from manufacturers, then they will stand behind their products.

  • Display after the Nvidia update problem

After you have installed the most recent driver (ver. 340.52) for my graphics (Nvidia GeForce GT 625) thanks to the HP Support Assistant, my screen has been changed. Everything has a blue/grey tint - it's like the red and green color no longer exist!

Cables and the monitor are fine; I tried a system restore; I rolled the driver back to the version 337.88 - all with no change.

    I'm running Windows 7 on a HP Pavilion 500 - 205t, Intel Core i5-4570, 64-bit processor.

    Suggestions? Thank you!!

    Hello

Avoid using adapters as they can and do fail.

Install the driver NVIDIA of originwhich has been published for your PC.

If the above doesn't work then try the suggestions below:

Try the monitor and cable on another PC to remove these components as possible problems. If not, try a known good monitor and well-known cable.

Remove the video card and try onboard video, coming from the motherboard.

  • Windows 7 blank screen with cursor Hang (Nvidia driver problems)

So, I tried to understand this for 2 days now and can't find a definitive solution. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit and my graphics card is a nvidia 9800 Gtx +. Whenever I try to update display drivers (I tried all the nvidia versions on their site for windows 7 64 bit drivers), during the restart I get the Windows Logo and then where he should go to the login screen, just blank with a slider that is mobile and never changes. I write of the same model, but I have just the driver value Standard VGA (Did it safemode). Any ideas?
EDIT: I thought I might add, when I initially installed I had to use a friends video card to do finish, it would hang at the end of the installation. I swapped my card after the installation.

I tried the drivers from EVGA, which is my card manufacturer. Not good. And on Windows 7 the default driver has not yet so why I had to standard VGA. I solved the problem by opting for an ATI Radeon HD 4870 instead, works perfectly. But it still bothers me that the drivers for the Nvidia card will not work with 64 bit vista or 7.

    Hello

Given that you have run the new installation of Windows and format still facing problems with blue screen errors, it seems that there is a problem with the hardware components of your computer. I would suggest you either contact the computer manufacturer or any store local tech to diagnose the hardware components of your computer.

  • Portege 3440CT OS install problems

    Hello
Just decided to dig my 3440 ct that has Windows 98se on it and reformat an update with XP. He has only 64 MB at the moment, but I thought that if all goes well, then I would switch to 192 MB and whack in a disk that is larger than the original drive 6 gb for the moment. I have the floppy a usb card pcmcia (a Toshiba one).

When I try to install XP, it sees the Cd and begins starting the process, for example. loading devices. But whenever it gets to the last line says «the installation program starts now...» "it crashes with a blue screen with an error"0x0000007B"that I find something to do with the boot drive.

Then I deleted the diving and installed XP properly on a desktop computer using an adapter, put it back in the laptop it starts very well until the first wime you see the XP logo and then crashes with the same error

Then I tried a 60 GB drive, I had in my laptop main that I know works fine and got exactly the same message.

I then tried Windows 2000 which had the same problems, but eventually worked with 98SE. I tried both with FAT and NTFS and I installed the latest version of bios 1.60. But in vain.

Someone at - it good ideas as to what im doing wrong?

    Hello

When you install the restore CD is a simple file and when the external drive is just plugged and recognized that it is not problem to install it but when you install the original version of Microsoft installation must be interrupted and the unit should restart for the installation continues. At the moment the external drive can not be found anymore. I assume that this is the problem in your case.

Try to create two partitions and copy the CD Win on the second partition and try again to install the unit.

Sometimes, glitches video will change the above to the following

In the world of Warcraft Support Forum I was told to contact the manufacturer of the video card may be defective.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello!

It seems that your graphics card is broken...
You have this problem on other games also or only with World of Warcraft?

But it could also be an overheating problem. Have you tried to clean the laptop using a jet of compressed air? This could blow out the dust from the cooling fans.

In the worst cases, you should contact an ASP. Technicians can check your laptop and share the graphics card if it of necessary.

    Good bye

  • Re: A500 - 1 H 6 * BSOD and Nvidia driver problems

    Hello

A few months ago I bought a Satellite A500 - 1:6 and I am almost happy with it. In fact, I have 2 problems:

1 - from time to time, the screen goes black for a few seconds and comes back to life after showing + a message on the Nvidia driver which has failed, but was back +. I tried to update the Nvidia driver, but it was even worse.

    2. when I use wi - fi, most likely my laptop eventually freezing for a few minutes, then followed by a BSOD.

I don't know if it's relevant, but I had to update the BIOS when I bought because there was another problem (the laptop awake by itself, early in the morning).

If anyone has an idea that I can solve these problems, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Mike.

    Hello

    > I tried to update the Nvidia driver, but it was even worse.

Are you talking about the toshiba page vga driver? I have fixed BSOD for a500, update driver vga nvidia.com, about 6 months ago and since away once no BSOD more.

    try to update.

    OPERATING SYSTEM:

Windows 7 Professional 64 bit VL

    Description of the problem:

Impossible to install the WiFi driver. Tried all 3 drivers provided on the support site: Ralink, Realtek & Intel WiMAX. All 3 installers indicate either the WiFi card was not found / detected or the installation program just hangs.

    Changes to the system:

A clean install of Windows 7 Professional 64 bit DVD VL - required to connect to our domain controller.

    Found a solution.

    (1) to restore the system to factory settings

    (2) save C:\SWSetup\Drivers file on a USB

    (3) install Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

    (4) copy C:\SWSetup\Drivers on HD

I did a clean install on the T400 and installed all the drivers that are essential under the SWTools folder, but I see a problem with the card ATI will not work correctly.

After installation from the folder videos and restarted the laptop. There is a sign next to the 'ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 Series' in Device Manager

Under device status, I see the following error message

"This device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)

Has anyone seen this error? I tried to reinstall the driver again, but that does not solve the problem. Actually, the PowerManager now has trouble switching graphics, with the balloon message "system cannot activate graphics high-performance" close all 3D applications or video and disconnect the external screens. " Switch graphics processors. »

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    The model is 2764-CTO

Just figured it out. This feature requires Vista SP1. Since my Vista disk is the original disc of RTM without SP1, this is why I came across this problem.
