NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller problem.

In my "Device Manager" and on the tab "Network adapters", my NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller has a /! ------beside him.

Here is what it says under "device status". "This device cannot start. (Code 10)

I tried the 'check for solutions', but came up with nothing.

In addition, it said that the most recent driver is installed.

I don't know when it happened, but it's making my EQII. =(

Hello:

The only suggestion I can offer is to reinstall the nForce chipset driver that also installs the cable network controller driver.

  • Windows Update offering me a nvidia nforce network controller update, I want to know what has the update, how?

I try to click on the more information of winqual.microsoft.com/support/? 20211126.it driver id always comes up with 404 page not found. I just want to know what the driver is offering or fixing. I have tried everywhere, someone has ideas how to get this info?

The only way I know is to get this information from the manufacturing of the hardware device.  In this case go to the Web from Nvidia site and then go to the downloads section. You can then select the Nforce drivers such as pilot. After that, you will need to know which chipset your motherboard uses. Once you get all the information it will take you to the download page for the drivers. Normally they have the available release notes to see what changes have been made by the pilots. If you decide to update, I would use the Nvidia site instead of the one offered from windows update. After installing the nvidia windows update stops offering you the update.

  • Windows 7 network controller problem

    Hi guys:

I have Windows 7 HP Home Premium. I have re-installed just now. Now I've lost

my ability to network controller. I'm now working on a stick.

You name it, I tried it (for solutions) up to and including the programs 'stand alone '.

I read today where the difficulty is from stubborn Microsoft

When it comes to things like the update of drivers and updates period, when it comes

for any other OS than 10, so I ask... is there a net controller that I can d/l who

will it work on W7? Thank you, Carl

    Hello Carl,

According to your description, I understand that you have faced problems installing your network controller after you have reinstalled Windows 7 Home premium.

Microsoft provides surely as readers for the most commonly used device drivers which get installed automatically based on the requirements for your computer. Also, make sure that you check the optional updates too, that your network driver could have been which are listed there.

If you get no device drivers in your windows updates. I would contact the manufacturer of your computer and get the latest drivers for your Windows 7 computer. Your computer manufacturer is one who is responsible for and must provide the drivers for your computer as they understand your computer better in terms of hardware.

Hope this information helps. If you need more assistance or information on this question, reply to this post. I'll be happy to help you.

  • NVIDIA nForce Question

I have an old HP Pavilion a1637c PC running Windows XP SP3 MCE.  I started having problems with my Internet dropping out and trying to understand what is happening.  My ISP says it's a problem with my PC.  I use the original NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller, version 50.2.4.0 dated 03/03/2006.  (I don't know if it's worth the upgrade to the new version of driver or not).  I use Norton Internet Security 2011 and in the history of the security, I get a note that "the IP address has disappeared from the adapter and is is no longer protected.»  When I can't connect to Internet, I ran the Windows XP Network Diagnostics and it came and wrote no connection could be found?  My network controller could break and who is causing my PC to lose the IP address or does it really sound as the ISP is at fault?

If you can get Internet to work, even if it is intermittent, then you the drivers are good--period. It's the same exact symptom you would if your cable has been disconnected.  To me, it seems that you may have an intermittent connection problem. I try a different cable or clean the ends of the cable (connectors contacts) first.

  • NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA Controller has a problem driver ID: ROOT\UNKNOWN\0000 error code: 10

NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA Controller has a problem driver ID: ROOT\UNKNOWN\0000 error code: 10

    Hi JimmyGoings,

The Code 10 error code is generated when the Device Manager has not enough information or error that spread upwards by device drivers is not recognized by Device Manager.

In addition, this error may occur if one of the pilots who needs the unit does not start. If multiple drivers are used by a particular device, it can be difficult to determine which failed.

You can follow the steps in the article given below to resolve the problem.

Description of errors related to the 10 Code that generates the Device Manager in Windows on computers
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/943104

Check to make sure that the controller is enabled in the BIOS, if there is physical damage to a motherboard, it is usually fatal.
In addition, go to the nvidia /drivers and automatically search the chipset drivers and install it.

    Warning of the BIOS:
BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.
