Looking for a NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA Controller Driver Update for Presario CQ5107C
Hello
The last two weeks, my computer, which is a Compaq Presario CQ5107C been freezing while I'm on it, and while I'm even not use without programs open. The pilot also missed a couple of times during use, but a message pops up saying something close to "driver recover successfully. Also, when I stopped it, it takes forever to stop and sometimes when I try to shut down properly, it goes to the blue screen and said that one of the drivers failed, which I guess it's my NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA Controller driver. My GetForce put up to date the most recent driver updated and there is no problem I know with whom. I read a litte autour my ATA driver can slow down and start doing this gel then go to blue screen if it malfunctions. I'm running on a 32 bit Windows Vista processor and have not yet update my Windows 7. I was looking for every possible way get an update for my ATA controller driver anywhere without having to pay for it. I guess I should upgrade to Windows 7 to possibly get an update. Update to Windows 7 would remove all the programs/personal off my computer files and if I had to stop the gel? Any help would be great because I searched everywhere and found the best solution yet. Thank you.

Looking for a NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA Controller Driver Update for HP Pavilion Elite e9140f
Hi, I added a second hardrive that is 3 TB and my desktop is running windows 7 with SP 1. I have been informed by Acronis technical support I need to get an NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA Controller update (I have version
NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA Controller version 11.1.0.29 installed). Can someone tell me what version I need update too and where to download? Thank you! Mark
The last driver from Chipset from nVidia for your computer is located on the nForce Chipset Driver Version 15.56 download page. This driver install NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA Controller driver v11.1.0.43. This driver, however, isn't likely to solve your problem.
You will need to check that the hard drive is seen in BIOS until the computer will recognize the drive. You will need to run the Windows 'Disk management' console to partition the hard drive in at least two partitions, MBR or GPT partition before you can use the drive.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA Controller has a problem driver ID: ROOT\UNKNOWN\0000 error code: 10
Hi JimmyGoings,The Code 10 error code is generated when the Device Manager has not enough information or error that spread upwards by device drivers is not recognized by Device Manager. In addition, this error may occur if one of the pilots who needs the unit does not start. If multiple drivers are used by a particular device, it can be difficult to determine which failed. You can follow the steps in the article given below to resolve the problem.Description of errors related to the 10 Code that generates the Device Manager in Windows on computers

I bought your desktop Pavilion p6310y on eBay, and I really like it. I installed Windows 7 Ultimate on it without problem. For the purposes of running the software (in particular, Microsoft Virtual PC 2007), I also want to install Windows Vista Ultimate on it, on another partition.
I was under the impression that Windows Vista Home Premium 64 - Bit was originally installed the operating system when this system was released, however, when I start the installation support Windows Vista (which I created from a downloaded ISO), it requires additional drivers (no doubt, Serial ATA drivers) before instalatio, also no hard drives appear in the drive list. Anyone know where I can get these independent Serial ATA driver files? The controller is a NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA controller. I do not have the recovery of original installation disks and don't think that it would be possible to get to this point, this system is no longer supported by HP.
Any help would be appreciated. TIA.

Hi, Mark:
I compressed upwards and tied the driver for the sata raid controller, you require to the nvidia chipset, that your PC has below.
The best way to install the driver is as follows...
Extract (copy) the files on a USB FlashDrive without any folder.
With the flash player and the support of Vista installation in the machine, boot from the Vista installation media.
After selecting the install now option, select the training - Advanced menu, Options and select the option load a driver.
You should now see the storage driver files listed.
If you check the box, it only includes the compatible driver.
Follow the prompts and I hope that Vista will install.

HP PAVILION ELITE M9517C DESKT: NVIDIA NFORCE 10/100 Mbps Ethernet drivers upgrade
I do a clean install for upgrade with Win 7 Pro 64-bit OEM. I ran the Win 7 Upgrade Advisor and need guidance on these issues, on what I need to do to upgrade:
NVIDIA NFORCE 10/100 Mbps ethernet
NVIDIA GeForce GT630
NVIDIA High Definition Audio
NVIDIA nForce System Management ControllerAre these extensible & will work with Win 7 Pro 64-bit?
Hello:
You will need this chipset driver in order to install the ethernet (NVIDIA NFORCE 10/100 Mbps ethernet) and most of the other devices you listed.
You should install this driver first and restart the computer before you install any other driver.
http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/30520/en-us
According to the specifications of your model, it came with integrated graphics which means that you have added the video card.
So you will not find this graphics driver on your PC support page.
This is the latest driver for your GT630:

NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller issues
I have a hand built system running Windows XP sp3. It does not recognize one of the pilots who strives to update and suggested I have uninstall and then try to re - install. In doing so, he made sure I can't access the internet. After having diagnosed the problem, I found that it was disabled and uninstalled my NVIDIA nForce network controller. When I tried to re - install, it says that I need an installation disc. I don't have a disc, so I contacted NVIDIA. They informed me that they offer no support for this controller when part of a card mother and suggested that I contact Microsoft. Can someone help me find an installation disc, or suggest that I could do to make this work?
Hello
You can probably download the drivers from the support page for your computer.
Or maybe it will work for you, http://download.cnet.com/NVIDIA-nForce-Networking-Controller/3000-2112_4-143144.html
If during the installation, it offers to install the nVidia firewall. JUMP.

NVIDIA nForce network controller driver
Have a Pavilion a1700n with Vista Home 32-bit (SP2) Preimium. You will need to re - install the drivers for the NVIDIA nForce Network Controller, but need to re - install the driver. May not know exactly what model of controller I have, so don't know what driver to pull out of the NVIDIA site.
Features HP are very generic to describe the network controller, and the driver for the controller does not appear on the list of available drivers on the HP site for this computer.
The driver for the network part of the NVIDIA chipset drivers, if you can't get by using the Recovery Manager, you can download drivers download for your O.S. and chipset NVIDIA nForce

(Serial ATA) storage controller
I'm testing ESXi 4.0 on your desktop. It does not recognize the internal Serial ATA drive so I guess it's the internal storage controller. What is a good Serial ATA (not too expensive) controller that ESXi 4.0 is going to acknowledge / accept?
You might want to take a peek at ESX / I WhiteBox here which also lists supported SATA controller as SATA Sil3512...

I have an old HP Pavilion a1637c PC running Windows XP SP3 MCE. I started having problems with my Internet dropping out and trying to understand what is happening. My ISP says it's a problem with my PC. I use the original NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller, version 50.2.4.0 dated 03/03/2006. (I don't know if it's worth the upgrade to the new version of driver or not). I use Norton Internet Security 2011 and in the history of the security, I get a note that "the IP address has disappeared from the adapter and is is no longer protected.» When I can't connect to Internet, I ran the Windows XP Network Diagnostics and it came and wrote no connection could be found? My network controller could break and who is causing my PC to lose the IP address or does it really sound as the ISP is at fault?
If you can get Internet to work, even if it is intermittent, then you the drivers are good--period. It's the same exact symptom you would if your cable has been disconnected. To me, it seems that you may have an intermittent connection problem. I try a different cable or clean the ends of the cable (connectors contacts) first.
