  I'm going to install two Nexus 7009 with N7K-F248XP-25 three modules on each of them, I plan to create 3 VDC, but initial configuration, the system does not display the Ethernet ports of these modules, even with the inventory of show and show module that I can see that the modules are recognized and its status is OK.   You can activate the F1, F2, M1, M1XL, and M2XL series modules. There is no restriction on the type of mixture allowed for the order of module-type system. Control module-type system allows a mixture of F1, F2, M1, M1XL and M2XL series of modules in the VDC.

  Note The module-type limit-resource command handles the restrictions on the types of module that can be mixed in the VDC.

  Note Use the f2 type module-system command to allow the F2E series modules in a VDC. The ports of F2 and F2E series modules can be distributed as all other ports.

  Note The modules that you do not select must not be powered on after you configure this feature and enter Yes. An error message will force you to manually disable these modules before you continue. You will avoid significant disruptions and problems of service within a VDC.

  No form of this command resets the configuration mode to enable all modules.

  Hello to all on the forum,

  I am running DIAdem 2015 (15.0.0f6005) on a Windows 7 Pro SP1 i3 4 GB RAM machine.

  I want to evaluate a test. Data are expressed as 25 .txt files. I need to plot, one of the values on the whole test time. I tried to combine the data from all 25 in one file .tdm .txt files. I came far enough until I met my problem. After gathering around 15 .txt files in a .tdm, tiara doesn't let me continue. It gives this error message (in German, I'll translate as good as possible):

  "When executing command 'DataBlClpPaste('1-52',1859122,0)' a rumtime error has occurred.

  Error: ACCESS VIOLATION

  Address of the error: 0000 P 280

  "Name of the module: FGSData.DLL.

  I will describe my procedure in which this happened:

  -Open the .txt with plugin I had created the first import

  -Ribbon with two windows view channel: have the target in a secondary window group, drag the newly imported from .txt in the other channels

  -In the secondary window with new data, select the lines I want to add to the data target group by clicking on the first line, then scroll to the last row and shift-select that. CTRL + c to copy the data

  -In the target group, click the first empty line, and then ctrl + v to paste data here

  After the last step, instead of pasting the new data in the target dataset, the above message error. I can't do anything, but click on 'ok '. After ok, the program window will not respond to any click except for switching between Navigator / View / analysis /... I have to close DIAdem, where I can always select "close and save", that works too.

  I could go a few times after reopening DIAdem, but finally, which stopped working. It now gives me the error message whenever I try to do this routine. The .tdm file is 21Mo now, the .tdx is 1.1 GB.

  I appreciate any help on this, I really would prefer combining data using DIAdem on trying to copy and paste around 1 GB of data .txt into one giant .txt file. It takes very long to not even open a .txt of 50 MB file, I fear this would be a messy process.

  If you are using DIAdem 2015, there is a new entry in context menu where you can select Add.

In the past we used Microchip microcontrollers (PIC16 and 18), a simple IDE and a C compiler, but for the new generation of devices we will use microcontrollers from Luminary Micro ARM. Since we are also users of LabVIEW, the choice for the LabVIEW embedded module for ARM seems logical. I read a lot of documentation OR and watched the tutorials, but I'm still uncertain on what we may or may not do with the module. Until we buy eval kits and the module, I need to have some facts.

  1. The 'heart' of our circuit is a microcontroller LM3S1968, this MCU is ARM Cortex-M3 based. It is listed in Keil device database (http://www.keil.com/dd/), then is also a LabVIEW "Tier 1" - peripheral (http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/7066)? ".

  Answer: no, that would be a level 2 device, we now offer three level 1 devices and information on these can be found on the link you condition.

  Answer: is trickier, LV Module Embedded for ARM in trial mode will have some limitations (size applications, can open the development environment for a number of days and so on), but it should not have limits when it comes to other targets as described in the links that you have already provided. When it comes to the JTAG interface, I would recommend using the Keil ULINK2 USB-JTAG.

  1. Is a JTAG connector on our device and a connection for a JTAG debugger, all I need for debugging the device with LabVIEW?

  Answer: I would like to make use of the Keil ULINK2 USB-JTAG Adapter for debugging and allows us to download the code on the target. In fact, it's the only way we can download code on the ARM, but we can use a serial port / TCP in addition to JTAG debugging.

  I don't think it's possible for anyone outside of OR. LabVIEW Real-time supports this time only Windows as host and as a target only material of National Instruments with specifically targeted OSes or the Pharlap ETS system on x 86 systems with hardware specific enough. Using RTAI as target OS for LabVIEW Real-time applications requires first a few changes on the time plugin real LabVIEW to support this new platform.

  None of the files in time real LabVIEW also created for either platforms OR running VxWorks or OS Pharlap, Pharlap ETS system woud be able to be deployed to a system RTAI, because they are not compatible. In the first place, you'd have to port the bunch of shared libraries that make up the time target real system running LabVIEW on one of these goals to your RTAI system which is in fact a whole new platform of LabVIEW you can create with a little effort from the LabVIEW source code. It's not really impossible for OR as most of the code LabVIEW is written platform completely independently, but it would be a combination of the parameters compilation for course LabVIEW Real-time, with the settings to produce time targets real LabVIEW VxWorks with some additional settings of Linux. Yet, it would be by far not trivial and some parts are actually hardware specific drivers that must be worn too and limit the possibilities of what RTAI material could serve even further. In short not something that would make any commercial sense NC because they invest a lot of resources with no opportunity to sell additional hardware.

  And hell freezes over up front release of NI LabVIEW source code in any form which gives access not - OR used to it!

  I have a vi who writes in both modules of analog and digital, 9263 and 9472.

  I don't have a problem writing to the analog modules, but the modules digital (9472) gives me problems.  I want to write a single Boolean value, and he wants a Boolean array.  I was using the DAQ assistant, but dropped on it.  I'm probably not understand how to access the port correctly.

  I've included a partial copy of the code.  (LV crashed when I tried to create a snippet of the original code, so I had to copy it to a new vi.)

  You have not included the Subvi and if you want to generate a single Boolean value, it is absurd to use the Dig generate 1 D data and instance of DAQmx writing. Just use 1Line 1 point. Change the instance by clicking on the polymorphic selector under DAQmx writing. Select Digital > single channel > sample > Boolean. You can also use the DAQ Assistant by plugging in just a function table built between the Boolean command and the input of signals.

  You must also consider writing your code without globals.

• Configure the module of firepower ASA IP address

  today I tried to configure the IP address of the late ASA power module. But unfortunately I failed. The firewall is in the direction of the situation and also do have not any router on the LAN. So, I stop the management interface and configure the IP of firepower on the network server management. But unfortunately I can not ping the gateway IP address that is actually one of the interface of the firewall. It is the series x 5525 firewall. So this isn't a any interface dedicated to management of firepower. It would be nice to know where I made the mistake? I recharge and recovery of the module and I consider the State as always state of recovery. So my question is looking for there is a problem with the module itself?

  Sari,

  Even if there is not a physical module services fire power management port, it uses Management0/0 port to connect to the module of SFR.  If you like on the same VLAN as your server VLAN on the SAA plug Management0/0 port on a switch that is sharing the network server VLAN and give the module SFR an IP address on the same subnet.

  Make sure that you remove the statement under interface Management0/0 nameif. Here is an example:

  We have seen this issue, depending on how AD is defined. This means that the connector is not able to reach a few references.

  An easy wrokaround is to use the port number of global catalog AD, instead of the default port of 389. The number of global catalog port is 3268.

  Can you please go back to the connector user interface admin and click on directory, change the port 3268 and save. Now, try the synchronization again.

  I understand the modules in this way:

  They are tools. User management is an independent module if it consists of one or more views. But remember that they need to relate to each other. Here, for example, when have a complex user administration, so add/remove module ID users and relate to business users is another module. Does make sense? The loading time will be improved, but when compared with a 'standalone' application, more bytes are loaded. The project here has grown from 3MB to 17MB, but as said before, not all everyone, then takes 90% of our users it shrink 3 MB more or less than 2 MB.

  While developing, I had a few problems, because there are still a lot of bugs with the modules.

  I recommend using a design template, so it will be much easier to work with this module. I'm used to Cairngorm, but use it with models of field, models of presentation and dependency injection.
