  I have fresh install EBS R12 instance on 64-bit machine with Linux operating system, I have a few questions about it, if all nicely can provide answers:

  1. I have 16 GB of RAM, is it necessary to configure the swap of 32 GB for her area?

  2 document (Doc ID 761566.1) States:

  «net.ipv4.ip_local_port_range: recommended values for local port range may need to be adjusted according to the specific needs of the user environment in order to avoid port conflicts.»

  Why do we set this setting and influence on network or in conflict with another server?

  3. the document states:

  "kernel.shmall: the listed value is the minimum requirement - we recommend a real parameter which is at least equal to the sum of all Sams in the system, divided by the size of the page."

  I'm going to install a new instance, how to configure this setting?

  We have Forms and Web running on both nodes.
  
  I followed all the steps according to the Discoverer 10.1.2 with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 [373634.1 ID].
  
  
  Now, I installed 10g discoverer and integrated with the EBS, now when I try to open any report of BSE, it gives the error message below.

  If you have checked all the above and the same configuration work for others, then Yes, this could be linked to the load balancer.

  Could someone tell me please to some documents explaining how ot use the tool with EBS? The tutorial that I got my hands on supplied with the product (12.0.2) speaks only of 'web' app.
  Or maybe it would be easier to clarify this for me - if I select EBS/forms when I run OpenScript - how the tool points to the server of forms of a specific form, I'm my lack just something...

  When you create scripts, you can see the following codes generated in scripts. For forms FormsService will be there.

  So when you record a script of EBS/forms, then addons will monitor actions performed on the Web page and the forms.

  When you start recording, a browser will launch, and anything done on this page or its child pages will be captured for OpenScript

  Hi Sairam,

  GoTo OpenScript preference and change timeout for reading of the EBS/forms.

  Launch OpenScript, click view and select Preferences OpenScript. Then select Oracle EBS/functional forms under playback. Change timeout value.

  I m following the sub process.
  
  
  Document download (for KFI) through document capture, then it goes to the IPM server.
  Then, in Server EBS, click the zoom button, browser task IPM page is open.
  Open as user1:
  Push data into EBS seeking task IPM viewer data.
  Save it in EBS. Click on the approval of the Bill, give an authorization to obtain data to a particular user.
  
  Log in as User2: not found a job.
  
  Error in the BPEL instance is as below:

  The problem with the documentation, is that there is no mention of these SQL files that need enforcement. Those that must be performed and visible in the schema of the user of the DB that you configured in your DB Adapater. There are many stored procedures using the model of Accelerator AXF appearing in these SQL. I believe (from memory) is grant it access to one, but I do not see that in your list, and you list looks like also a bit incomplete, which version of the model are you using?

  Please check the host name in the listener.ora file under $RDBMS_ORACLE_HOME\network\admin\. If it has "s_virtual_hostname", edit the file and replace this article by your host name "accelerator.abc.biz" and click the retry button.

• Firefox used to work fine until last week, now hangs at startup - have reinstalled, tried to uncheck hardware acceleration - not fixed.

  Until the week last Firefox coasted reasonably little pop-up (windows 10), now it crashes immediately. I reinstalled, ticked hardware acceleration (it starts in safe mode), but is not fixed. Any ideas?

  Hmm, another user Windows 10 reported this after installing some Helvetica fonts.

  In your screenshot, the text 'blue indicated' is the following style rule:

  font-family: "helvetica neue",arial,helvetica,sans-serif;
  

  So I guess you have Helvetica Neue installed locally, which seems to have strange problems in Firefox.

  If you don't want to remove this font on your system, you can use custom style rules for Firefox overrides Arial, which is what I see on Windows 7 on this page. I saw the first time that documented in this article (from 2010!):

  I need to disable acceleration hardware and smooth scrolling for any user that connects to an RDS Server. I messed up the mozilla.cfg and created an autoconfig.js file. I guess I'm missing something along the way.

  This is currently my autoconfig.js

  All that I'm missing? When I restart the two options are always checked in the options.

  pref("general.config.obscure_value", 0);
  pref("general.config.filename", "mozilla.cfg");

• Hardware acceleration of flash player does not work on windows 10

  I installed windows 10 yesterday, everything works fine except the hardware acceleration in flash. I don't see that a green video if I activate hardware acceleration. Work videos flash if I disable hardware acceleration, but I don't think it's a good solution because the CPU usage goes way up. I have an AMD ATI Radeon HD 4890 and I use the drivers supplied with windows 10 because amd has not released any Windows 10 drivers for my card. Strange thing is that hardware acceleration works fine in chrome, so I think this isn't a driver problem, is there some way I can fix this in firefox?

  I solved the problem by installing the drivers amd since the INF, now working on hardware acceleration!

  Edit: It seems that the Green video problem is solved with this solution because the CPU usage is always the same with hardware acceleration disabled
