Did you try what is called a "Hard Reset"? It is 1. Withdrawal of all devices such as printers. 2. disconnect the power supply input cable. 3 remove the battery. 4 press and hold the power button for 30 to 60 seconds. 5. reconnect the power cable and install the battery. 6. power on and boot mode safe (assuming that the screen comes alive). I read a post from someone who said he had to go through this procedure 3 times before their recovered laptop but I found my laptop recovers with a reset, as described. I have, however, to do this twice
in recent weeks, but I can't find any explanation as to why this error occurs. If someone can tell me I would be grateful.

Update from Windows 7 to Windows 10
When we try to update from Windows 7 to Windows 10 we get the error code: 0x8024402C but when we try to use the difficulty download on the Microsoft Web site, and then run the program it says "this easy solution does not apply to your operating system or version of the application." So then... now what?
You can try upgrading by creating a bootable copy who was actually offered as an option in my previous recommendation:

August 22, 2011 I just do a fresh install of Windows XP Professional formatting the hard drive. I then applied SP3 for an OEM CD, I bought from Microsoft several years (part number X 14-60166-02). Even if it is now at the level of the SP3, the automatic updates from the Microsoft web site will not work. If I bought the latest version of the SP3 CD-ROM, which will be the same as what I have now, or it will integrate all of the fixes that have taken place in recent years? Thanks for any help on this.

will I lose my files and stored data when I update from windows 7 to windows 8?
will I lose my files and stored data when I update from windows 7 to windows 8?
There is no particular risk to lose anything, if you do an upgrade, rather than a new installation, and if you do it right.
* However *, whenever make you a leap like an upgrade from one version of Windows to another, there is always a risk. Things * can * fool you. So before I do, you should be sure you have a current backup on external support of all important files for you.
And another point. Even if you do not upgrade, it is * always * a risk of losing. So you should be sure you have a current backup on external support of all important files for you * all * time, not just in the moment it takes important steps.
