Occupy the entire screen to the screen

My screen was fine before my son used.  The display is now much smaller than the screen.  I checked all the settings and everything seems fine.  I tried the system restore, and it says that it cannot find a restore point.  What can I do?

Hello

What operating system is installed on the computer?

Hope this information helps.

  • Taking up the entire screen. ... How do I re-size?

I was putting up with this problem for a year because I work constantly.

-Lightroom is sized to fill the entire screen 21 '' i - mac, I can't get the sidebar to activate from inside the PMQS, so I have a H option to access other programs.

Now, I have a 27 "and it behaves the same way.  I really didn't need LR to occupy all 27 ".  Again I have used Adobe and Mac for a long time, and I can't understand how I had the program for "oversized" window, so I can't just drag the tab of the window to resize my workspace window.

    Thanks for the replies.

Since you didn't say what version of Lightroom you use...

  • New to Mac: how to Photoshop to cover the entire screen?

After 20 years of using Windows, I recently bought my first Apple computer and Adobe was kind enough to allow me to convert my license of Photoshop.  I use a Mac Pro tower with dual quad core i7 and Snow Leopard 10.6.4 with Photoshop CS5 version 12.

One thing that I can't seem to get used to on a MAC is that activating Photoshop occupies only a part of the monitor and the main workspace shows through other windows in the application that are open and my background "Galaxy" in the rest of the space.

Is there anyway to make Photoshop occupy the entire screen and cover the Galaxy and other windows in the application open?  I currently have to actively seek a part of Photoshop of the screen to activate the program that is confusing, slow and driving me crazy. This I think is unique about how Photoshop is implemented on a Mac, I've never met this before on Windows.

  • I hit a button and now this tab takes up the entire screen. How to bring back my browser?

Website of the tab takes over the entire screen, even the line apps Windows downstairs. Hit the ESC does nothing. If I close FF and re - start, it goes back to the same state that it was when I killed him. Order No. FF buttons there so there is no way to reset it. The tab web site occupies the entire screen. Help! I use MS Internet Explorer to send this info that FF is currently useless.

Sounds that you have enabled Firefox mode full screen (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Command + SHIFT + F).

If you are in full screen view then hover over with the mouse to the top of the screen to facilitate the bar appear Navigation and tab bar.

Click the expand (in the top right Navigation bar) to exit full screen or right-click on a space empty on a toolbar and select "exit full screen" or press the F11 key.

  • How can I get my iTunes movies to fit the entire screen?

When I watch movies on iTunes, every movie has a big black bar at the top and bottom.  Is there a way to get the film to fit the entire screen?  I have a 13 "MacBook Pro.  Everything is as up-to-date as possible at the moment.

These "black bars" are there because the format of the movies a lot that you see at the theatre is extra wide.  There is no way to precisely adapt the movie on your Mac screen, because the shape (aspect ratio) of the screen and the film are different.  If you made the film at the same height as the screen of your Mac, you lose the right and left of the film frame edges, so you wouldn't see the movie.

  • DV5Z w/HDMI does not fill the entire screen

I have a DV5Z with installed Blu - ray player. When I connect the Dv5z for my Panasonice 42 in plasma 720 p with the HDMI cable, the entire screen is not used in full picture format. There is a border of 1 inch around top, bottom, left and right.  My DV5Z has ATI HD 3200 graphics card and I do not understand where I need to adjust it so that it works ok. I already had a Dv5T with Intel 4500 and it worked fine, (in fact he filled a little too much about "1/4 of the image has been off the screen) but not the DV5z and I don't want to watch some blu ray movies with 1inch border around the screen. Where are the settings for me to adjust so that I can watch movies under the eyes?

I adjusted the display settings, and it did not work. What could be the problem I need to adjust?

I also adjusted the aspect of the TV and H-fill is not anywhere close and zoom isn't closed and 4; 3, that's not what I want to use.

    Any help is appreciated.

Try using the ATI Catalyst software.  You should see an option for HDTV in the list on the left in the Advanced view.  It has a few decent explanations on how to use it to configure your TV.  I do not have my dv5z before me right now so I can't be more specific.  If you need more details, let me know, I got exactly the same problem and got it working.

  • How to capture a screenshot of the program rather than the entire screen?

You may need to download a photo in a post to help illustrate the question or provide more information, but do not know how to capture a region or a specific program to do this.

The following steps were taken here, but modified to capture a program open instead of the entire screen.

    1. When you view the site or program that you're having trouble with, press Alt + Ctrl + PrtScrn (Print Screen) , usually located at the top right of your keyboard.
    2. Open Microsoft Paint by using the start menu, then programs, accessories and finally choose paint.  For Windows 8, search for painting of the splash screen.
    3. Once you have opened the paint, select 'Edit' from the main menu and click "Paste."  CTRL + V work as well.
    4. Now that your screenshot appears in the paint program, choose 'File' in the main menu and click on "Save as".
    5. In the drop down at the top of the menu "save under", choose to save the file to your desktop or your favorite place.
    6. Name your file "adsense.jpg" or something you prefer, choose "JPEG" format in the drop-down list "Save as type", then click Save.

It should result in a screenshot of the specific program when selected.  It must be the active window or the last window that was clicked on.

Once you have the picture, simply click on the photo icon in your replay to browse and download.

This should help with areas that are smaller than the whole screen, making this important area more visible and easier to view via the forums.

    I hope this information helps.

  • The entire screen and not just game scroll arrows window

When you play a game, I need the arrow keys to operate within the game window to move the 'blocks' and does not scroll the entire screen.

Used to work, it stopped working yesterday (after my 9 year old had a computer time.)     Several other settings have been changed, so I'm assuming he's changed a setting somewhere!      Help!

It is quite a wild guess, but try typing your key to ScrLck (e.g. stop scroll) once. Otherwise, you can consult the documents of the game on how to disable this behavior.

Did you the latest changes on the computer?

You can check if changing the resolution of the screen helps you solve the problem. See below for links-

Cannot use the scroll up/down or see the entire screen when reading the mail/documents because that office titles show on the left.  What can I do for securities of funds do not appear when I read the emails? They take a part of my screen.

This could be a matter of adjustment of the monitor.  They are hard to find and difficult to understand, but there should be buttons on your monitor that adjust to what is displayed.   The controls you want to make the display wider or narrower.
