ODI Designer could not retrieve the list of repositories to work on the connection

Hi friends

I am new to ODI and a problem connecting to the designer of the ODI

During the connection, the list of repositories of work appears not the list

I checked and everything looks fine on the creation of working repository.

You guys are aware of any database table file or xml including this list is filled?

Thank you very much

Hi Laurent,.

Yes, there will be an entry if you created work rest 'properly' in this basic form and that's why you don't see it all by creating the connection to the designer.

If any bad, rinse until your rest of the masters and to work and create in the fee, if NOT create new rest of work into the rest of the master.

    Hello

    I see just a glance on the tnsnames file you are missing at least one sign =...

    You have

    ORCL

    (DESC...

    You should have

    ORCL =

    (DESC...

    There may be other issues too, but give that a try at first - you better run netmgr to allow oracle to create the file for you.

  • The network adapter could not establish the connection using the external ip address

    Hi team,

    Please look in the attached files.

    I installed db 11g on my desktop machine (Windows 7, with a local network) and then I created a data source connection in tomcat which was also in the same system and then I deployed my sample web application, everything works fine, I am able to access web applications.

    But once that I kept my system with external IP address (excluding local network of my company), oracle gives these following errors when tomcat start

    Here is the following URL will display the error during the startup of tomcat.

    The network adapter could not establish the connection,

    In these two files, listener and tnsnames ora ora, need to change the configurations if I change the Ip address of the system?

    even I tried my address keeping external Ip instead if host in these two configuration files, yet this does not work.

    any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you.

    Because as I explained - your listener is listening on localhost only. localhost is never accessible to another machine.

    Stop your listener, change the listener.ora to listen to on the real machine name and start the receiver.

    In addition, your tnsnames.ora points to localhost...

    Stop using localhost, unless you only want things to work on the same machine.

    I've learned to trust in your obfuscation you covered something important, or you are showing some apples and oranges.  Error to declare you come from not being able to find referenced in tnsnames.ora entry, but the way you say you created your link db, you hardcoded the entire connection, so he never users tnsnames.ora.

    I would change the definition of db_link

    create the database link * _DBLINK

    connect to the USER IDENTIFIED BY 'user '.

    using "REM."

    Then create an entry in your tnsnames.ora

    REM =

    (DESCRIPTION =

    (ADDRESS_LIST =

    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = *. *. *. *)(PORT = 1521))

    )

    (CONNECT_DATA = (SERVICE_NAME = REM)

    )

    )

    Also, use server name instead of the HOST = IP address

    The closer looks that you can miss brackets final closing on your original definition.

    I was saying about the environment variables defined by you on the server of informatica/dac under the .profile or .bash_profile as below:

    TNS_ADMIN = $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin; Export TNS_ADMIN

    ORACLE_BASE = / home/oracle/app/oracle; export ORACLE_BASE

    ORACLE_HOME=$ORACLE_BASE/product/11.2.0/; Export ORACLE_HOME

    ORACLE_SID = InstanceName; export ORACLE_SID

    Path = $PATH: / usr/sbin: $ORACLE_HOME/bin. export PATH

    LD_LIBRARY_PATH=.:$ORACLE_HOME/lib:/lib:/usr/lib; export LD_LIBRARY_PATH

    CLASSPATH = $ORACLE_HOME/jlib: $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/jlib. Export CLASSPATH

    Here are some examples I mentioned everything. You can set them in the user profile from which you installed the server informatica/dac.

    If it is a CAR Forum, try to set the value of the instance-specific SID for example: orcl11 or orcl12 or orcl13... try to connect to each instance. Sometimes the general SID does not recognize configuration

  • I/o error: the network adapter could not establish the connection: connection to oracle database

    Hello

    I am not able to connect to the Oracle SQL developer database. I said / 0 error: the network adapter could not establish the connection.

    I started the listener, but what I see is, it points to a different IP address instead of the IP address of the host. How to change the name of host or IP address.

    I see that it points to the host name in listener.ora.

    Attached the screenshot

    Can someone help me solve this problem?

    Thanks in advance

    What he says is the listener.ora file is not necessary to start the listener.  If you rename, then start the receiver, then start the db, after a minute or two, the db should automatically register with the listener and then you can make a tnsping or otherwise connect to the database through the listener.

    I'm not entirely sure what's going on with your image, but I can't help but wonder if somehow something is not what you expect with the investigation period, whenever it starts.

    So use lsnrctl status lsnrctl services to see what the listener is the situation and tnsping and ping from the client to see what he thinks.

    (1) I have TNS entries under MW_HOME/OracleBI/network/admin
    (2) TNSPING works fine.
    (3) source updated JDBC in place on the side WLS...

    What should I do?

    Show complete exception stack trace. This does not seem to relate to WebLogic. The WebLogic console
    view running data source? In fact you use WebLogic DataSource?

  • AMT: could not resolve the connect identifier specified

    Hi guys, I have installed Oracle on Windows XP SP2 11.2.0.1.0 C:\oracle folder
    I use the ORCL service to connect to the database using SQL more. I am connected yesterday and it was very good. Now I get this error:

    ORA-12154: TNS: could not resolve the connect identifier specified

    Of course, this error is related to the file tnsnames.ora and identifiers of Service and not correct SID.

    Here are my tnsnames.ora
    # tnsnames.ora Network Configuration File: C:\oracle\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\network\admin\tnsnames.ora

    But now, I noticed something strange.

    If I try to connect with you the user's SYSTEM:

    C:\>sqlplus system/password@ORCL
    SQL * more: Production version 11.2.0.1.0 sea Giu 8 12:26:08 2011
    Copyright (c) 1982, 2010, Oracle. All rights reserved.
    ERROR:
    ORA-12154: TNS: could not resolve the connect identifier specified

    If I login with user SCOTT:

    C:\>sqlplus scott/tiger1@ORCL
    SQL * more: Production version 11.2.0.1.0 sea Giu 8 12:26:26 2011

    What is going on?

    The 'system' password includes a ' @' character?
