  It's a way.  I guess you can use the generic SQL adapter to do something like you suggest, but it's strictly personal work.

  There is no personal edition license more. It was abandoned when FMS was released. I'm afraid that the only option is the pro license.

  You may not use the OPK unless you are a system integrator that has an intention to actually sell the computer with Windows 7 OEM.

  I understand your concern for wanting to stay in compliance, but using the OEM System Builder not having license will not not Microsoft Authorities come knocking at your door.

• Create dashboard custom Transactions of RDFS with error?

  We have implemented a FTR for application and we currently see transactions and their end-user response time in the Explorer in Foglight.

  In results view (accessible via the view explore end-user, under Agent Intelligent-> Service) - screenshot to join - we see the response time of the transactions and the transaction which has encountered an error.

  However, looking at the view explore end-user for this robot, we can only see the response under the summary operation time. It includes no info if the transaction has encountered an error.

  What the customer wants, is to have a custom Foglight dashboard and view transactions that meet errors and set alarms for them. They will not return to the view of the results as well that to view results only has not any installation of alarms for her.

  Is there a was to create a personalized dashboard that displays the error for some operations the robot, as well as whenever they encounter a problem installing alarms?

  What happens behind the views are two different applications, dashboards, foglight for Solution Explorer data, then the intelligent agent dashboards where you see the low-level operations. When you display data in the intelligent agent, you access a browser located on the FTR player that pulls data from RDF files results in the player directories. Some of the outcomes data is pushed to the foglight Management Server for reporting.

  There are alarms that get fired when a player fails to run a script. You do not see these alarms?

  Hello:

  I'm trying to understand best practices for ownership of the dashboard. Given that some users can create and share their own dashboards, we are experience some issues that some of these key dashboard designers leave the Organization, and we will have to close their accounts - accounts that the dashboard was created under.

  What other organizations are doing to manage these scenarios?

  I thought to create a special account 'by team"that would be personal connect to create/edit dashboards - but this seems to be a bit tedious (because it would be a"shared"rather than individual account) and requires users to jump between logins depending on what they plan to do in the vROPS.

  Can I just "take" property of a dashboard published by someone else? It is, in some cases, that I can't even see specific dashboards, if they are not shared with the group "admin vROPS" I am a member of.

  He just need to put in place strict rules about which accounts to use for the dashboard creation/editing?

  Ideas/advice greatly appreciated.

  There are two scenarios that I suggest as best practices for businesses.

  1. you cannot take possession of a shared dashboard, but you have the option to clone the shared dashboard. Once the shared dashboard is cloned, you now own the clone dashboard. Therefore, you have two identical dashboard, sharing, and which belongs to you. It would be good idea to rename the clone dashboard, if you can identify easily between the two.

  2. as a practice wide organization, I would say that created all the tables in edge, but also policies, alerts, views, reports or anything that is custom from the output of the software box be exported and stored in a central location accessible to the appropriate groups. vROPs did a great job to provide users the ability to import and export almost anything. What that would do is to allow you to always have access to any user created and personalized dashboard. No other documents would be available even after the creator has left because you can import an exported documents and become the owner.

• Deleting dashboards

  I worked on the creation of customized dashboards and I created one that I can't remove.  I tried to add a map to a web link as a background image, but it does not display correctly.  When I click OK to display the context both of the side popouts disappear and I can do nothing else with the dashboard.  The only way I know how to remove a dashboard is to pop-out the right side panel and remove page there.

  Is there more then one way to delete a dashboard?

  In newer versions, you can go to Configuration-> definitions (at the bottom of the left navigation panel) and look in the box my definitions. You should see an entry for your personalized dashboard here and you should be able to bring him back to the top and delete. Can you let me know if that helps?

• A 9 Ff and worked well. 1.5 weeks, tried to download the update to 10.0.2, there but she would even BEGIN to download - no "run" window comes up, not on the desktop, not in list programs. Have retried for days!

  I use Windows 7 on a Dell 2 years computer (running 32 & 64-bit). So, things I read, I thought it might help to uninstall my old version (I think it's 9), then try again. I did, and EVEN download anything. I tried it at different times of the day and at least 5 days, but nothing works. Just like before, not even a hint that download anything (and he never said anything about firewall issues). I tried with and without firewall, etc. being extinguished. What can I do? Is there a person live anyone can help guide me through this over the phone? (ha ha!) Really, I like phone or chat at least helps. -I'm pretty informed on the use of computers and software, but it left me speechless. Help, please! -If I can't get to download and work 10.0.2, can I download an older version (such as 9)? -under 'what happened' below, no answer is part, because it is ALWAYS the same. No download.   Please note that choose run or Open in the dialog box may not work for every type of file under any circumstances. Please also check if the file has been downloaded previously in the downloads folder and right click and run as administrator.

  You can also try right-clicking on the link corresponding to the version of language here and Save target under. You can try to save in a custom location and if it downloads successfully, right-click on the file and run as administrator.
