  Cheap car charger can damage the battery. Get one that is certified Made for iPhone. Griffin and InCase the two make reliable car chargers. The Apple online store sells several others.

  On the thing to do as a precaution - do not start the car with the phone connected. Connect to the phone after starting the car, because the starter on some cars can generate a voltage surge which can cause problems. A good charger should filter out them, but it's still a good precaution. (BTW, hybrid and electric cars do not have this problem).

  With output power in 24V - 3 to 3.5 amps, I don't think. If you the intensity a bit late is not a big problem, but if you are not getting enough components amps will surely suffer. But during the amplification them isn't really useful either. Can see if you could find a car adapter that has a power of 5 amps, with a range that remains inside the volts as well. Would work very well then.

  Make sure your car charger is off 2amps.

  Many of them offer only 1 amp, and some of them don't 500ma.

  I just ordered a new Sansa Clip 8 GB + of Wal-Mart and I want to order a car charger. I noticed on ebay there are a lot of packages/car charger for the clip + but when I ask the supplier if they adapt to the 8 GB, he said that the charger that works with the 2 GB and 4 GB will not work with the 8 GB. Nobody here does not know if the 8bg requires a charger that is different than the smaller 2 GB & 4 GB Sansa Clip + models?   Nonsense that the seller - it's the same for all models Clip and sizes.  What works for one will work for one of them - connections and power draw are the same.

  And Yes regarding the USB - your new Clip will come with a nice, short a (Super) to carry around.  Of course, you can also use the one that you already have, like a digital camera USB cable.

• Nine computer Compaq 610 laptop charger does not work. Help, please!

  I went through 3 Chargers and charger port repair.  I am so confused about why not charging my phone.

  My first broken charger comes out of usury, but he had to stand on a corner charge.  I really want to continue to use it so I help him on an angle so he could load.  It ruined the port and the charger completely.

  The second charger, I bought was from Hong Kong on eBay, I know your probably thinking that wasn't a smart move, but he had the right replacement part number it is said on the first charger.  This charger was incredibly hot but he quieted worked for awhile.  Finally one day rubber melted and was all dealt with.  It melted if bad it was bad to get the magazine back in the port, but I got it.  Then after that use more rubber would melt it got warm every time and once the charger would not come out.  I pulled it out with a lot of force and then the final piece got a little separated from taking part.  Then the charger now must be held in hard and a slight tilt to make it work.

  I bought a new one with the right part number and it seems to be smaller than the three other broken.  I just plugged it in for the first time a few minutes ago and it started to load perfectly for about 20 seconds.  I was so releived, until I checked a second time and he stopped to load!  I don't know why, but it is not only in charge at all!  I plugged again many, he waved a little and tried to take the battery out and then try to turn on my laptop.  But no matter what I do it still will not charge.  Is the most funny thing is that the old one can still.

A couple hours later my phone always needs to recharge and I borrowed from my Bank of power friends for her (she used to charger the Z10 also). 30 minutes later, I want to see incoming message, but my phone is dead dead baby lol.

  I wouldn't be afraid to load it into a car... any charger, make sure just that output is also 750 mAh or more.

  Is there seriously not a car charger for the Playbook? The quick charger uses a 12V interface, so you would think it would be a very basic accessory for RIM to make available.  Seriously, guys?

  It is certainly low power. There is a top label saying that output specifications are 5.1V and 2100mA, but there is no way, it's really able to output as long as that, unless my car hybrid restricted sort the output on the 12V Jack.

  I know that the original charger has a 850 spec mA, but most car chargers do not (as well as most wall Chargers).  Search, I see two contradictory principles.  One is that a slower presentation for lithium batteries is actually better for the life of the battery.  Yet others say that if the charger does not know that the unit will try to attract, the charger can overheat and may fail.  The manual of Motorola said only that for battery charging you must use Motorola Chargers, but shippers listed on the for the Droid Motorola Web site do not meet the 850 my and are of course chargers for another model.  Motorola someone all advice on that?

  I gave you a clear answer.   It is that the full current nominal is 850ma.  The two instructions that you seem to find contradictory are not.   The droid needs 850ma to recharge his rhythm quickest.  It will load more slowly with lower currents or perhaps not at all.  The droids (and other smartphones) need more or less depending on what they do and 850ma provides enough to load and do something else.

  It is what is the charger supplied to you and what the relative rating that it was.  I think that if you buy a Motorola charger they support for the Droid, he will say that.  The warranty says only to use Motorola Chargers.  (although I personally don't always follow it) and, as Motorola brings many cell phones (some with the same connector)... Make sure that the charger you get specifically States it is intended to be used with the droid.

  I also told him that you could use a charger with less than 850 ma, but it will not load as fast.  If you go down, it will be not at all.

  Yes, Motorola made 850ma rated Chargers.  Is one supplied with your phone. You can read the right side on it.  It's the 'exit' not heat output.  Chargers for smart phones of all types are usually 850ma.   I suspect that what is meant by 'Fast rate' is that they put out the 850ma that is needed.  The Chargers that work as low as 500ma can work in some cases, but I don't recommend them.

  Just in case you need a final bit of clarity... 850ma puts the charger supplied with the droid by Motorola.    I don't know of a smartphone seller with less than 850ma charger which comes with their phones either.

  1. the touchstone has a spot in the back for a charger, microUSB cable, ONLY the official Palm cables will be adapted as far as I know (the moulding around others is a little too big to fit).

  2 MicroUSB cables can be plugged directly into the phone on the right side of the screen (small flap out and switch to the lower, easier if you drag the keyboard first).
