Offbox activate PRSM CX Redirection of traffic

Hello

IV ' e had installed (Offbox) 9.3 PRSM.

I imported a pair of tilting ASA5585-X - each with a (big) inside CX module

How the hell you set a policy of redirection of traffic to send traffic through the modules CX!

IM pulling my hair out, if you add the tab 'traffic redirection' is said "no element is found."

Im not surprised, its not allowed - I want to put on with PRSM!

This software is terrible!

Pete

Hi Pete. A break on what hair you have left and check the CX Module Quick Start Guide for the ASDM method.

Short answer is that you use a rule of service strategy (policy-map). The CLI so that it is further explained in the User Guide for the ASA CX.

You can set this bit on the PRSM ASA technically but you would have to first import and manage the SAA itself (not just the modules CX). I have not tried this method as PRSM is a bad tool to manage an ASA. Same Cisco directs you little far this option in their documentation

  • Redirect VPN traffic to a single ip LAN

    Hello world

I have this problem: my company needs profiles of access for VPN connections because different users have reach the different internal host.

To do this, I have configured a group policy and assigned a standard ACLs that allow only a single ip address in my local network.

But when I opened the tunnel, I can't reach this ip address.

How can I do to achieve this?

    Hi all

I am facing a problem with asa cx feature where asa is having all the traffice defined, but there is no traffic coming to cx.traffic of the asa is visible that in the case of monitor only mode.please tell me:

    1. how to redirect all traffic to the asa in asa cx.

    2. how to add the entire interior of the customers work asa cx envoirment to check the details there instead of the ip address.

NOTE: I'm working through PRSM NOT BY CLI.

    Hello

If the traffic is then visible on CX in the single mode of monitor, your redirection strategy are correct.

Only change, you need to do is only on ASA to ensure that you have a monitor only in your policy plan.

    To monitor only:

    Policy-map CX

    class CX
    cxsc farm-fail monitor only

    For roller online:

    Policy-map CX

    class CX
    cxsc fail-close

Also on CX GUI disable monitor mode only:

Navigate: Settings > monitor only and disable monitor mode only.

    I hope that helps!

  • Traffic redirect Internet from the remote site on the main site using the tunel of vpn ipsec

    Hi all

I have a problem to redirect internet traffic from my remote to the main site by the IPSEC VPN tunnel. The remote site is a Cisco 2801 router with ios (c2800nm-advipservicesk9 - mz.124 - 22.T) and the remote site has ios (C870-ADVSECURITYK9-M, Version 12.4 (15) T12, fc3 SOFTWARE VERSION). This redirect does not work and the last jump with extended traceroute form the remote site is the ip wan of the main site.

Is there someone who can help me with the right settings this redirection via VPN?

You must configure the routing policy based closure for NAT can be invoked on the main site.

Here is an example configuration for your reference:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/products/sw/secursw/ps2308/products_configuration_example09186a008073b06b.shtml

Additionally, make sure that you don't do any NATing at your remote end, IE: you must configure the NAT exemption for all traffic from 192.168.11.0/24 to any (Internet).

    Hope that helps.

  • Firefox redirects to the page after you clear the cache, reset, reinstall

Only in Firefox (checked in chrome and IE 10) and only on this computer, when I try to go to this page: caroliniancanada.ca/calendar, I get redirected to calendar.com.

    OS: windows 8

    I tried the following:
clear the cache, history, passwords etc. (I have deleted everything after support to the top of my favorites)
    start firefox in safe mode
start firefox in safe mode windows safe mode 8
    Reset firefox
reinstall firefox without any saved data or backup

    This problem persists.

I am running a Norton scan and will run malware bytes later. Nothing else that a few tracking cookies have been discovered so far.

    Thanks for the quick response!

    Before trying your solution:
    adding notes:
    - http://caroliniancanada.ca/calendar/ goes to the correct location (a php calendar application installed on the server)
    - www.caroliniancanada.ca/calendar seems to open the google search for the address
    - http://caroliniancanada.ca/calendar or http://www.caroliniancanada.ca/calendar open calendar.com

    After I tried your fix:
    - http://caroliniancanada.ca/calendar now redirects to the correct location
    - http://www.caroliniancanada.ca/calendar still heading calendar.com
-the Web server SHOULD be redirect all traffic on the www to non - www.

    Conclusions:
I think that it is indeed a mistake to redirect to the server. I tried it again in a new combination on Chrome, and it seems that if I type in www.caroliniancanada.ca/calendar or http://www.caroliniancanada.ca/calendar I get redirected to a "not found" page which suggests calendar.com . It seems as if Firefox is simply force a reload in calendar.com rather than providing an error.

I am now able to reproduce this on my other machine of firefox by going to http://www.caroliniancanada.ca/calendar , so I'll mark this resolved and try and understand what is happening with my redirects. Hair pulling yay! Need a haircut anyway...

Wow, what a frustrating way to discover a server error! Thanks again for your quick help!

  • After upgrade, I can't navigate. When I click the icon, I get redirected to a sterile help page, with no way out and no navigation State. Help?

Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

    1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
    2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
    3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
      • Windows:

        • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
        • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
      • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
      • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
    4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
      1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
      2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

  • command ' ip wccp redirect exclude in. "

Hi all, I'll have trouble understanding how the command ' ip wccp redirect exclude in "and hoped someone would be able to give me more information on this subject.

I know that it must be on the interface/subnet where WAAS is connected when "redirect" is used on another interface. I also know that it is used to prevent forwarding loops. What I don't understand is, why it is only necessary when 'redirect' is used, and not when "redirect to" is used?

    Thank you all.

    Hello

Outbound loops are caused because, before the traffic is sent out of  an interface, it is first redirected back in to the network to the WAAS  for optimisation. Once optimisation is done, the WAAS then sends the  traffic back to the router. If the "ip wccp redirect exclude in" command  is not used on the interface that the WAAS is  connected to, when the traffic reaches the router's interface that has  the outbound redirection, it will then re direct the traffic back to the  WAAS and the whole process will start again (and will continue to  loop).

If,  however, the "ip wccp redirect exclude in" command was put on the  router's interface that connects to the WAAS, when the WAAS sent the  optimised traffic back to the router, instead of the router sending it  back to the WAAS again, the router will know that the traffic should not  be optimised (or re-optimised in this case) so it sends the data out of  the network towards the WAAS at the remote site.

Your understanding is 100% correct. This is precisely what is happening.

Now, in  regards to inbound redirection, the reason why the "ip wccp redirect  exclude in" command (or a similar one) isn't required for inbound  redirection is because the traffic never reaches a redirected interface  twice, therefore a loop cannot form. For example, with outbound  redirection, the traffic hits the outbound interface, then gets sent to  the WAAS, then gets sent back to that same outbound interface that has  the redirection on it. However, with inbound redirection, the traffic  hits the inbound interface, it is then sent to the WAAS, the WAAS then  sends it back to the router and instead of the traffic being sent back  to the same interface that intercepted the traffic (as is the case with  outbound redirection), the traffic is instead sent out a different  interface on the router and therefore it is not intercepted again.

    Again, it is correct.

  • ISE CPP wireless with redirection possible exclusions?

Hi all, a little bit of a tricky situation here. I have a wireless network and ISE 1.1.1. The wireless code 7.0 and 7.3 is mixed.

On a wired ISE installation, it is easy to have an allow rule that URL redirects users to the portal provisioning client * BUT * to have a redirect refuse the ACL on the switch with statements that exclude some websites of the redirect. For this, so users can click on the links of rehabilitation of the NAC Agent and reach sites to download updates of GIS, updated windows, anti-virus, etc. but all other attempts at web redirected to the CPP.

Any fine and it works perfectly on the cable network. HOWEVER, I can't find in a similar way, to do this on the wireless network. While you can create a policy of redirection of posture to send to the CPP with an ACL, this ACL seems only to allow or deny traffic through a standard ACL. Sense a user gets on but any attempt to go anywhere in a browser redirects to the CPP. It is therefore impossible to make the pages of sanitation.

Is there a way to accomplish what I'm trying to do here? It seems it should be a core function.

Sorry, I had some problems to deal with personal and just had the chance to follow on this. Firs of all, good job on understanding and publishing the results back here! (+ 5) from me for that!

    To answer your questions:

#1. You are 100% on the logic on the WLC ACL ACL Switch vs. The switches 'refuse' means "do not redirect" the traffic, therefore allowed on the network. On the WLCs 'refuse' means 'redirect' traffic, so do not allow to it on the network. I don't know why Cisco has done this, but different buses, different teams, etc.

#2. You are also right on this one. Your vWLC and ISE work as expected. While the switches are supported on DACLS, WLCs support only "named ACL. Therefore, when you are referencing ACLs on ISE for the wireless, which ACL must exist on the WLC and it MUST BE NAMED EVEN or it won't work.

I hope this helps. If you problems are solved please mark the thread as "answered".

  • Port redirection with pix

Hi, I am trying set up port forwarding on a PIX 515 running version 6.3 (3) and nowhere fast.

The idea is to redirect the traffic from port 25 to port 2525 and the static command, I tried is as follows:-

    static (inside, outside) tcp 25 X.X.X.X Y.Y.Y.Y 2525 netmask 255.255.255.255 0 100

Where X.X.X.X is a public address and Y.Y.Y.Y is a private address.

Also, I added a line of the access list to port 25 for incoming host X.X.X.X.

The redirect does not work. I even went as far as the test on a web server, forwarding port 80 to 8080, but traffic is sent to port 80, regardless of the static command.

Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? My understanding is that the port redirects were possible with the later pix 6.0 or version software.

    Thanks in advance,

    Rick

No sweat. I almost always overlook the simplest things so when someone else has a problem, I start easy and move up. Usually solves the problem more quickly.

As for your other question, Yes, it is normal. Remember that static is bi-directional translations. Thus, when you added the port information in the static command to the SMTP server, the PIX only knows now to translate packets from TCP/2525 (I think that's how you had it). When your mail server tries to send outgoing mail, the source port will be an ephemeral port (IE not 2525 probably). So, I usually people do something like this:

    static (inside, outside) tcp 1.1.1.1 25 10.1.1.1 2525 netmask 255.255.255.255

    NAT (inside) 2 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.255

    Global 2 1.1.1.1 (outside)

It takes care of everything in both directions of the 10.1.1.1 host (for example).

Hope that this helps explain the issues. Good luck.

  • ASA - Tunnel all traffic, allow rays to communicate with each other

Well, I hope someone can help me with this headache! Switching to employ a PIX and VPN 3005 concentrator Office at home in an ASA5510 for firewall and IPSEC tunnels. It is pretty much a

    • VPN on a stick, multiple rays.
    • All traffic sent by tunnel
    • Internet access through main office (using the web filter) of
    • VOIP to VOIP between rays

    Speaks 3: 192.168.13.0 / 24

    -continues to 192.168.31.0 / 24

Spoke with the current configuration, 1 can communicate with all the resources in the home, office and Internet integrated properly checked by a tracert. However, the rays cannot communicate with each other. This is required for VOIP traffic, when all TALK TALK calls are made (sites).

Logging information when talk of talks initiated icmp:

    • No group of translation found for icmp src, dst outside: 192.168.31.1 inside: 192.168.11.1 (type 8, code 0)

If I remove the nat (outside) 1 192.168.0.0 255.255.00 - rays will begin to respond to each other, but then the rays cannot tunnel through the Home Office Internet traffic. My brain is so scrambled after the cramming of VPN configurations for these days, so I hope someone has an idea. I've always used concentrators 3005, so it's a little different! In the search for documentation for this configuration, I was surprised that this isn't a most common topology. It seems that this article would (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6120/products_configuration_example09186a00805734ae.shtml), but there is no rays! In any case, I'm sure this has something to do with NAT rules and perhaps who need access for traffic list speaks of talking.

    Hello Ala,

In Act got to be with the Nat configuration.

So basically you want to tunnel the traffic on the rays to communicate with each other.

OK, it would be with a nat 0 with the access list with the corresponding traffic outside.

Also on the crypto ACL for each site configuration, you must add an entry for the traffic of other offices.

I hope that I have explained myself.

  • Long pause while the page is loading

I was a user of long 3.6.XX release date and loved the performance of firefox. Since the upgrade to version 12.X.x and now 14.x.x, I noticed a serious decline on page load times. Sometimes it may take 60 seconds or longer to load a page. If it click on 'stop' and then 'recharge' loading the page as fast as ever. When page loading is slow, I noticed on the bottom left, he said that he has to wait on some website to answer. I think the problem is with the offending website is ready to load is the common followed by cookie Web sites which blocked my software anti-malware and firefox unable to reach. Firefox will freeze during a page load until I guess some clock left and continues to load the page you requested.

Announcement that I said earlier, I have tried all the common solutions and none worked.

I think I have solved my problem though. I replaced my HOSTS file in c:\windows\system32\drivers\ect with the hosts of this URL http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm file

What it does is to redirect all traffic to and from the unwanted urls in localhost 127.0.0.1 and indeed keeps firefox for URLS that it will never reach. Was an hour now and have not had any delay on who my malware try normally block the page loading

  • Help for my new E2500 router port forwarding

My hosting web home used to work. But due to new ISP from Verizon to TWC, TWC gave me a modem-router and I bought my own router Linksys E2500. Verizon and services of TWC, that I subscribed are dynamic IP address. I use a third party to redirect web traffic to my house.

TWC gave me a simple modem-router in one box. An entry is coaxial and outputs are 4 ethernet ports. I use one of the 4 outputs of the TWC ethernet box to connect to the internet the E2500 input ethernet port. All my sons and wireless devices are now feeding the E2500. All wireless and wireline devices works and can surf the internet through the E2500.

I have assigned to one computer as the web server and the internal IP Address of this computer as 192.168.1.128 addess. The same goes for the installer with Verizon before.

I loaded him comes from CD with the router E2500 and see the LAN 192.168.1.128.

My problem starts from there, I do not know how to set the port in E2500 192.168.1.128 to web traffic

    1. using the CD E2500, I click on 'APPLICATION AND GAMES', then 'SIMPLE PORT FORWARDING'. under the NAME of the APPLICATION, I select one box for HTTP and type in 128 under "IP ADDRESS". I then click on ACTIVE, then 'save settings '. The 192.168.1 is set in this window, I can type only 128.

It does not work. I can browse the internet, but can not access my site of all machines using domain name.

    Then I tried:

2 to point 1 above, I continued to Setup > BASIC SETUP > DHCP RESEVERSATION. I can see the name of calculation/sever and the 192.168.1.128. Then, I click on the "select" and save the customer.

I rebooted the computer/server, I disconnect and reconnect power E2500. I check the internal IP address of the server, and it's always the same. But I can't just browse my site. I can browse other places.

No idea what's wrong on my fault? Help, please.

Your modem is a router. All incoming internet requests end up on the modem/router. You must configure the port forwarding on the modem/router first before the E2500 will see nothing incoming from the internet.

    Alternatives:

    1. turn the modem/router mode 'bridge', which turns into a simple modem. You can connect directly to the internet with your E2500.

    2. place the E2500 as simple access point and keep the modem/router as your main and single router. Then any transmission is made on the modem/router.

  • Topic for sticky thread: Multicast

    Hi all

I have just a question which is completely driving me crazy. I googled 50 + pages, I searched this whole forum, and after reading almost a hundred articles I can't find a 'factual' or 'Clear' answer to this question with the evidence:

On the NEW routers Linksys, such as the V1 WRT610N with latest firmware or the WRT310N V1.

"Security," there is the "Filter multicast" option

Should it be "Checked = Enabled" to BLOCK or ALLOW, through the network multicast traffic.

I ask, because apparently there was a lot of typo and the misconceptions, because the previous Linksys models such as the 2006 BEFSR41v4 router, was typoed: "Filter Multicast" was actually supposed to be "enable multicast Passthrough.

This still applies today, and with all other Linksys routers?

The reason is because it is grammatically incorrect and very misleading so it can be written as "Filter Multicast" because the word "Filter" means to remove this option by 'Vérification', you'd be 'Prevent' multicast traffic. That would make sense because all other options on the Security page, works this way.

However, from what I've seen, people have gotten mixed results and the conclusion is often to "Activate" "Filter multicast" to "Allow" traffic, but that makes no sense!

This is a VERY important subject, because it solved once and for all, put an end to tons of questions of others.

    It comes

    ITunes and many others.

Thank you all very much for any idea that you can provide, also if possible how can I test to make sure that it is indeed "allowing" multicast once understand us this?

Please help me answer this question once and for all...

When the option is enabled, "Filter Multicast" will filter multicast traffic, i.e. it does not.

When the option is disabled, the router will run the multicast daemon and it will deliver multicast traffic.

Most people see no difference, because they get all multicast traffic. I guess the most likely situation where you will see the multicast traffic is when you use your ISP's IPTV service. All general internet traffic will not be multicast and she will not even pass through your ISP network...

  • HP 15 laptop: cannot download Google Chrome on Windows 8.1 / new laptop HP

Hi, I just bought this new laptop HP TODAY ' TODAY - and tried to download Google Chrome and set Google as my homepage because I work with Google products for the last 5 years and this is my preference.

However, as a first step, I get a message saying that I can't download Chrome, even though I checked the download is for Windows 8.1, then it has also triggered a virus infection and caused the security software do a scan of threat - three times!  Trying to just set Google as my home page, when I click on the button 'create' real, the screen freezes simply.

It's almost as if Yahoo / HP does not allow me to choose my browser and search engine... anyone know how to fix this?   I've never had this happen before.

    Thank you!!!

    Hello

Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.

In this particular case, HP and Yahoo keep the computer to become the Chrome browser. Especially when you mentioned that triggered security a software alarm, this means that most likely you tried to download a fake copy of the Chrome browser and thanks be to God, the security software has prevented to install. It is quite common nowadays because it's popular software and impersonations exist. They sometimes appear on the top of the search result in the search engines, and they do not lead to the site from another server but the official seller.  In addition, if this is not the case, your computer may also have already been infected by certain pests that redirect your traffic to fake Chrome.

There is only one official place to download this product - official site of Google/sub-sub-site

Click here-online https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/index.html and choose the blue download Chrome button in the middle of the page

Follow the instructions on the screen.
