Offerswizard - How can I get rid?

So, I was on my computer tonight, and all of a sudden the random ads of Offerswizard and many other pop - ups kept popping up, as well as to a Bing search bar. How can I remove this? I've literally tried everything - I have reset Firefox, went through all my addons and tried to uninstall programs on the Control Panel, but the only one who has been 'installed' today is the "Network System Driver. I also apparently installed programs still 'Rich Media View', 'View Media' etc from all the way back in March, but have not installed addons to this type. I remember the last time I've had trouble with "Media View", I got addons to insinuate their way into my computer, too.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello!

UPDATE 3

Just to let everyone know, I've been browsing in Firefox without any problems for a few hours now, so I recommend you to follow the advice of "Update 2", below.

That said, this is clearly a serious issue, and Mozilla Support need to find someone who knows what they are doing (i.e. not me) look at this piece of adware. I know, it can be problem in Mozilla, but it has a lot more votes than most of the problems on this forum. In addition, if this settles once, he will probably settle again later.

UPDATE 2

Okay, I think he did. Go to Add/Remove programs and uninstall "Network System Driver". Ignore fear pop up, it's all the guff. Then, go to C:\ (or wherever your system drive is), Program Files (x 86 if you are on Windows 64 bit like me), common files, Config, and you will see a few (three memory?) files in there. Launch the uninstaller in the folder, and then delete the file "Config." Yes, really.

After that, I ran the Security Essentials for a quick scan, then CCleaner, and then AdwRemover again, which meant another reboot of Windows. I think that the actions of this paragraph were unnecessary - I just wanted to be very careful.

Now, everything seems fine. The same sites showing the toolbar Bing and OffersWizard, are not all adware at all now. I can't get this stuff hard to make an appearance. It seems to have disappeared.

-Old stuff below-

Updated - no, no, I was wrong. He's back. Anyone got any ideas?

There is something which is called "Network System Driver" installed on my machine too. It should not be there. It's new. The uninstallation program tries to scare me. I'm going to uninstall. If it works, I'll come back and post an update. If it is not, and bombs my Windows Installer, well, I don't want to. Remember me for the brave gamble and stupid, that I'm about to...

-Old stuff below-

I just had the same problem. I also had MediaView settle too. Firefox suddenly spazzed out and I have the top Bing toolbar and OffersWizard ads everywhere in the show, some of them popping up and video playback with sound. Annoying as hell.

Scrambled around for a while trying things that didn't work, until...

Someone on Google had the same problem and says to use AdwCleaner - take it from CNET here: http://download.cnet.com/AdwCleaner/3000-7786_4-75851221.htmlor Google it yourself if you prefer.

He has removed the shit. AdwCleaner is a bit heavy (it closes all programs and restarting your system), but it seems all cleaned properly.

Before that, I tried the scanner from Microsoft Security Essentials, CCleaner and Firefox option. None of them worked.

  • How can I get rid of the new tab

I like the way I was put in place, and all of a sudden it is changed without asking me for it. My home page has been Super Start and when I opened a new tab it says Super Start and it was my home page. Now, it says new tab and my home page is a bunch of GREAT photos of my favorites, and when I remove some that it continues just appeared with more. I'm not so how can I get rid of him?

    Oh, OK, I forgot SuperStart.

If you are not already using the extension Classic theme restaurateur, please ignore this.

To get the SuperStart on your new tab page, users post comments on his page have suggested a few different approaches:

    (1) set extensions.superstart.set.browser.newtab.url true -if you are not familiar with using about: config, here's how:

    (A) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press enter/return. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (B) in the search above the list box, type or paste super and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (C) If extensions.superstart.set.browser.newtab.url preference is false, double-click on it to change for real

Then quit Firefox and start it up again (according to critics).

    (2) use the extension new tab override the value: superstart

I have already mentioned earlier, this option, but it would be rather on: newtab on the extension Options page.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance

It is possible that it is a new feature of your site by email.

Another possibility is a bad add-on. Here's my method hunt and cleaning of unwanted modules. I know it seems long, but it's really not that bad.

    (A) open the Control Panel, uninstall a program. After the loading of the list, click on the column heading "installed on" to group infections, I mean additions by date. This can help the undisclosed items bundle smoker who snuck out with some software, you have agreed to install. Beware of everything that you don't recognize / remember, since malware often uses sounding names important or innocent to discourage you remove. Out as much garbage as possible here.

B open Firefox page modules using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons
    • in the Windows "Run" dialog box, type or paste
      firefox.exe "about:addons"

In the left column, click on Plugins. Set essential and unrecognized plugins 'never enable '.

In the left column, click Extensions. Then, in case of doubt, disable (or delete, if possible) not recognized and unwanted extensions. Remember that all extensions are optional, none come with Firefox.

Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

    Any improvement?
