OffficeJet 6500 a. Impossible to access the Control Panel on Windows8

I have a new laptop and you downloaded the complete HP software features. The test printing and scanning seem to work correctly. However I can't find how to access the Control Panel on my desk. He has not created an icon in my windows8 start pages.

I have a button that says HP Printer Control allowsme to buy ink and my printer is offline. There is no scan options.

How to access the control of printing/scanning panel full or, better yet, bind it to the control of the printer button.

Thank you

Hi SaraLK,

I can help you find the digitization program. In the start screen or screen of tile, without clicking anything that this, start typing the HP. You should see the Officejet 6500 a, or even click on files and it should appear. When you click the Officejet 6500 has the help of the printer opens, you can also click with the right button on the icon and PIN to the taskbar so that it is always available right form the office.

Here is another way, you can create shortcuts taskbar Windows 8 for your favorite programs. Please take no offense to the referenced site, it helps to make everything easier!  I use it all the time.

I hope this helps.

    Hello

You can start the control panel using the command: + Panel +.
Type it is the search box, then press ENTER.

But it seems that there is something wrong with the OS and maybe you should try to repair the operating system.
    Switch on and press F8.
Then choose fix my computer and in the new window, choose repair.

  • Unable to access the control panel in Windows 7

When I try to open the Control Panel, the icon appears in the taskbar, then I see the control panel real screen disappear off the coast to the right of the screen. "When I click the icon on the taskbar again, I can see the screen"Shuttlecocks"back" but it will not be open on the screen, so I can use it no matter what I try. What is the cause? • Why I can not access the control panel of my E1000 router?

http://192.168.1.1/ cannot be displayed when I click on it, as if the page does not exist. http://my.e1000 does not work either.

My router has often also well connection problems when the laptop users are complaining that they are "connected but have limited connectivity. In reality, they have no connectivity. They don't have internet access on their browsers or games. Resetting seems to be the only thing that never solves this problem and now, despite my network allegedly called "Neil", he calls his car "Neil 2" and has no password. " I can't change it because I can't in my router settings or the other!

Then Yes. In a few words, it's all kind of bork. Does anyone know what the problem with him?

Have you tried 30-30-30 reset? If not, here is the procedure. Be sure to unplug everything except your computer from the router.

    Hello

-Have there been recent changes made on the computer before the show?

Please follow the steps below and check if that helps.

    Method 1:

I suggest you run the troubleshooter of performance on the system and verify.

    Open the troubleshooter of Performance

    Method 2:

I suggest that you run SFC (System File Checker) scan on the system and check. Follow the steps in the following article.

How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

    Method 3:

If the problem started recently, I suggest you do a system restore to the previous point and check.

    What is system restore?

    System Restore: frequently asked questions

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/system-restore-frequently-asked-questions

Important: System Restore will return all your files non-system as documents, email, music, etc., to a previous state. These files of types are completely affected by the restoration of the system. If it was your intention with this tool to recover a deleted file to non-system, try using a file instead of system restore recovery program.

Method 4: If the problem persists, try to create a new user account and check. If the problem is resolved, then fix a corrupted user profile.

  • Impossible to cancel the restrictions of the GPO on access to items in the control panel.

    Hello world

gently, I am in desperate need of help!

This is for a new brand, out of the box, computer with Windows 7 Pro 64-bit (no need to suspect a virus or malware, etc., as the computer is not part of a domain controller). I have set up on this computer an object of applied and local group policy on a user who belongs to the Administrators Local Group. Basically, the GPO has been to "don't show only specified control panel items". the only element of Panel I want to be displayed so that the user has been the "programs and features". Therefore, in the Group Policy object editor, I used the canonical name "Microsoft.ProgramsAndFeatures." everything has worked out very well...

However, and to my surprise, all other users, including the administrator built-in, lose access to everything in the control panel. To try to solve the problem, I have disabled the "Show only items specified Control Panel", and then put it on "not configured". However, the problem remained the same. I then did a "remove Group Policy object" the specified user still persists and all users cannot view items in Control Panel. Suggestions please!

    Thanks in advance!

  • I can't change anything in the control panel. My computer says I may have not sufficient permissions to access the item.

We have tried everything we can think of changing the time in our computer.  Whenever we click on the small box in the lower right corner, he says - "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file.  May not permissions to access you the item.  In addition, we are unable to add or remove programs or making changes through the control panel.  Help

All the problems you describe are problems that could occur if the user that you are connected without administrator privileges.  The quick check of administrator privileges must right click on the button 'start '.  If "Open All Users" is one of the choices that appear, then you have administrator privilege.  Otherwise, you must connect to your machine like the built-in 'administrator' or a user in the group "Administrators".

Assuming that you have administrator privileges, things get more complicated.  User rights can be granted or denied to any user - even administrators - by group policy.  If you are an administrator and you have XP Pro, then you might be able to check or change the user rights by using the Group Policy Editor (from-> Run-> "gpedit.msc").  Search in the:

Computer configuration-> Windows settings-> security settings-> local policies-> user rights

path.  One of these user rights is "Change the System Time".  If your XP Pro machine was never part of a domain, I would consider also running a program anti-malware on your system.

If you have XP Home Edition, you don't have the Group Policy Editor.  You will need to check / adjust / modify your user rights by using the command line program "NTRights" provided with the Resource Kit.  Problems like that with XP Home would raise my suspicions that you have a malware infestation.

  • Miss me the windows system32 rundll32.exe. I can't access the Add/Remove in the control panel.

    original title: missing file

Miss me the windows system32 rundll32.exe. I can't access the Add/Remove in the control panel.

I tried to start - run with my c/d operating system

    I checked for viruses

I purchase software to remove etc and REG files.

    Now that the devil do?

    Thank you

    If this

I tried to start - run with my c/d operating system

means that you have tried to use sfc/scannow from start > run, your experience is not surprising.  This 'solution' is often suggested by people who don't really understand what this command does.  It does not help to restore a missing rundll32.exe file.

    For what is

    I checked for viruses

What is the name and version of your anti-virus application?  When (approximately) their subscription expires? What other antimalware applications installed?  What other antimalware applications you used recently to scan your computer?

If you have not yet used the "software to remove the REG files and etc." return for refund or throw it out.  "Registry cleaners", 'tuners', etc. are not useful.  If you used to "clean" the registry, use its "undo" feature (if it has one) to restore the registry.  Longtime MS MVP PA Bear:

TIP: If you still think again your registry database must be cleaned, repaired, amplified, to the point, healed, twisted, fixed, enlarged, "swept" or optimized (it isn't), read http://aumha.net/viewtopic.php?t=28099 and draw your own conclusions. See also http://blogs.technet.com/markrussinovich/archive/2005/10/02/registry-junk-a-windows-fact-of-life.aspx

What probably happened is that your antivirus application deleted or quarantined in your file rundll32.exe thinking he was infected.  He could have, but probably not.  In any case, read the post that begins, "That 'solution' is not on my list." in the following thread: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_xp-performance/systemrundllexe-not-found/6e30aff2-a88e-4d86-a654-753d54f632d1 you can also read the rest of the posts in this thread.

Note that c:\windows\system32\dllcache is a hidden folder, but you who type in the address bar of Windows Explorer (or copy and paste), the folder should open anyway.

Assuming you manage to restore rundll32.exe, download, install, update and run full scans (not at the same time) with each of the following free tools.

    MalwareBytes AntiMalware
    SUPERAntiSpyware
