    Hi keith13

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

First of all, try these steps on your home screen, open the browser > press the Menu key > Options > on this screen of scrolling down to clear browsing data (mark all fields) and then click clean now.

Once this is done do a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your device is turned on, wait at least a min. then reinsert this return, your device can take a long restart. After the reboot please check again if you are able to view these emails correctly.

  • Mail sent blackBerry smartphones

When I send emails from Outlook on my PC they do not appear in outgoing messages on my Blackberry - is it possible?

I see messages on the blackberry and Outlook if I send my BlackBerry. Thank you!

Well, I can't say that it won't work... some mail servers will reconcile sent mail. BUT it is especially likely that Outlook won't, unless you do some workarounds to copy all sent mail Outlook in yourself and so that it is also on your BlackBerry for reference, if needed.

  • BlackBerry Bold 9000 BlackBerry Smartphones shows is not my card place in instant messaging

Hi everyone, I need help solve a problem I have when someone sends me their place via instant messaging.  When I receive, instead of a graphic of a map, I get a ling or a URL if you want to.  I then have to click on the URL that takes me to the web browser, and there I see the map and the locationn.

Anyone know how to solve this problem.  I would like to see the chart of a card inside my instant messaging and not a link I must follow.

Any help will be greatly appreciated,

    Thank you.

    Yes, everything that is wrong.

BlackBerry Maps is not AT & T Nav. Two different applications.

Maps of at & T or AT & T Nav is simply a rebranded TeleNav application.

BlackBerryMessenger sends "My position" via BlackBerry Maps. You must have BlackBerry Maps installed.

  • Retrieve mail sent blackBerry Smartphones

How do retrieve you email sent? Once I send using BB, apparently not sent anywhere folder.  What Miss me?

There is no sent folder to open it. When you set that 'No', all items you have sent your BB should be included in the list of Messages. The list of Messages is not an Inbox... it's a Messages list... the control of the parameters, which is displayed in and what is hidden in the message list.

  • Torch of 8010 blackBerry Smartphones shows only H + No 3G on network SK

I have a new torch from AT & T of the United States (which was opened). I inserted the Sim Card from my "BOLD", but only to get the connection H +. On the "BOLD", I get the 3G connection with the same Sim Card. What can we do to be able to my flashlight on the

    Korean system?

The torch will appear 3G network when original AT & T (US) Sim is inserted.

Only get the H connection +?

H + is abbreviation of HSPA + which is also known as the 4G or 3.5 G on some carriers.  That's what you want to see on your phone, then I wouldn't be getting too worried.

    I hope that clarifies things.

  • BlackBerry® Smartphones email does not not on 9700

    Hello

Hoping someone can help me here.

I'm trying to fix Bold 9700 from my mother-in-law.  I know that I had this same problem with my 9700 old a few years ago, but don't remember how I fixed it.

Its BB was working fine, then emails came only sporadically.  She called Rogers, technical support and they told him to do a full restore.  After the full restoration, she has absolutely no email and when you click on the e-mail configuration in the installation section it goes absolutely nowhere... almost as if it has never been activated.

    I tried

-a reload of the operating system available (same problem)

-a return of service books (an email comes through recorded everything, but then nothing else comes through)

All the other features of the phone seem to work perfectly.  The person of Rogers told him that the problem was because the phone is old and it's broken and won't work anymore.  I do not subscribe to this belief and am sure that we can get it up and going again for her.

So can offer help here on how to fix this?

    Thanks in advance

BaseballLady (currently sporting a 9790 and anxiously the BB10!)

Hello and welcome to the community!

You have tried a lot of things... Here's a little more perhaps.

You may want to consider using BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe there is able to... sometimes a clean WIPE of this kind, followed by the reload of the operating system, can help.

You can also try this procedure might limit the specific causal element:

    1. Load your OS "bare bones"... If everything is optional, do not install it.
    2. If the behavior is immediately, then try another OS with step 1
    3. If the behavior does not immediately, then run for as long as necessary to make you to be sure that the behavior will not occur.
    4. Add one more thing - no matter how tempting, one.
    5. If the behavior does not immediately present, and then runs for long enough to be sure he won't have the same problem
    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are responsible or the behavior presents

When the behavior shows up, you know the culprit... the last thing you have loaded.

If the behavior doesn't re-present, then you know that step 1 or 2 cured it.

If the behavior has anything, then you have probably a problem of material level for which no amount of OS or software can heal.

In addition, after each attempt reloading, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Resettofactory does not BES

I just need to go to Yahoo, without BES. Any suggestions?

    Sourcery says:

I also did a wipe of security directly on the phone. No joy.

According to KB21918 and KB18998, you should eliminate BES.

Actually no, both give a re-read, especially words such as these:

The factory reset just as the option wipe Handheld performs from the BlackBerry smartphone, with a few minor differences.

    • Wipe Handheld - The wipe Handheld option is made directly on the BlackBerry smartphone (see KB02318 and KB14058). This option removes all BlackBerry application data (emails, address book entries, calendar of events, etc.) and allows the removal of installed Applications and the content of the press card.
    • Reset to the default factory - data Application will be withdrawn and HE are so political. Third-party programs will be NOT affected by this operation. They will remain intact.

ResetToFactory, via the charger or desktop software, is the method to remove an it strategy. Reference:

    • Article ID: KB16307 Actions performed by the BlackBerry smartphone during the removal of the user stored and application data

Now, PAHO situation... which I think is that the device has been associated with BES before and is no longer. Once the it strategy is removed, then the unit must be ready to accept the carrier BIS account. You can check if the it policy has been removed through this:

    • Article ID: KB30076 How to check for an it on a BlackBerry smartphone policy

If the company removed and only is offered for the e-mail configuration, then the problem is that the unit does not service the carrier BIS.

To use the exclusive services of BB (including the ability to Push email, BBM, etc), you must have an adequate data of your carrier plan. Carriers BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) host for their BB users. In general, BIS is not available through generic data plans. Several ships make stop what is needed the Blackberry data plan. Whatever they call it, it is the carrier that delivers BIS users of BB - contact - the for assistance. Once you have an email Push-enabled compatible BIS data plan on your BB (fees regardless of your carrier will charge, btw), your exclusive services BB will work (for example, you will have a staff/Internet Email added to the email Setup Wizard, your BBM will work, etc.).

With hundreds of carriers in the world, each with dozens of different data plans it is impossible to say that any plan service could actually expressly provide for. Only carriers can answer this question. The best thing to do is to decide what services you want and then talk to your carrier about obtaining a data plan that allows what you want (to them).

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Opera4 does not work on my Storm 9500

I installed on my Storm 9500 OM4, but when opening it shows ' the Mini Oper application attempted to access a network connection to low altitude. Here afford that?' twice and then the application does not connect to the internet. The phone displays 'edge' only. I don't have a BIS in my country.

    Hello

One thing you left was how you have responded to the message you received. Did say you Yes or no? Twice?

In any case, it may be that your BB, which I assume that you have purchased 2nd hand, did not properly prepare for your use by the previous owner. Please see the bulletin:

    • KB05099 Steps to take before selling or after the purchase of a used BlackBerry smartphone

In addition, it is possible that they had this BB associated with BES and did not remove the it policy... Review:

Further still, your voice-level services work correctly? And you can find a WiFi network to see if Opera works that (as a test please)?

Please let us know the results of your review of all the foregoing, accurately.

  • E-mail settings blackBerry Smartphones Send for smartphone via service messages?

    Nice day

Is it possible to send email to a blackberry phone settings via a form of service for the user to phone message doesn't have to configure it manually?

We recently had to reinstall our Exchange Server and are now having to modify the e-mail settings on all our employees members of the phone, however, some of these members of staff are not in the same city that I.T. support and that the staff are not very literate computer/smartphone members, it will be difficult for us to guide them on how to change the e-mail settings especially if Autodiscover does not report the settings correctly on the phone and domain/server settings must be entered manually.

A member of staff in particular, has a Blackberry curve 9300.

Any suggestion will be appreciated as we would prefer, as well as in the future, be able to update phones with the necissary through a form parameters any service message rather than error prone manual intervention.

    Concerning

    André T. Dreyer

OK... so the answer is, well, maybe. It will require compromises your safety ethic.

A way of doing what you want to connect in the BIS users account on their Web of BIS carrier site and configure the email account it... the fact, of course, would require you to know the credentials of BIS users. Of course, that would also require that the carrier does have such a site... not all do.

Another way would ring up the carrier users the identity of the user and the carrier agent to configure the e-mail account.

If the employer provides the user devices such as service plan, then I guess the compromise of security required is lower because, technically, two belong to the company, not the user. But, if what are BYOD devices and/or the carrier account does she belong to the employer, then you'd be in essence hack on behalf of users to achieve.

    Good luck!

  • Sync gmail contacts OK blackBerry Smartphones, but can not synchronize Emails

    Dear Blackberry community!

I recently changed my contract mobile and kept my professional Blackberry Curve 9300.

I managed to configure gmail and synchronize contacts & the order of the day, but I can't seem to synchronize emails.

It seems to me that the old configuration blocking private Email-addresses is still active, but I don't know where and how to change.

Thanks a lot for your help!

    Cheers, Inken

Hello and welcome to the community!

Of what you say, I read that you had BES enabled on your BB, you have separated from the company/what BES now, but your BB was not properly cleaned of it's political, that continues to limit the things. To remedy this, you perform a specific wiping of your BB as follows:

    1. First of all, review the link of my auto-sig about backups... this process will completely clean your BB and you have to start over.
    2. Once ready, follow this KB to clean your BB of the it policy:
      • KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings
    3. When / if you restore, DO NOT do a full restore, restore only those databases that are essential, especially to avoid those who have something to do with the company, BES, political, etc.. If you fail at this stage and all restore, you simply put it on your BB policy and be right where you started.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BES do not reconcile all messages

    Hi all

We have a BES 4.1.4.15 in our workplace. reconciliation works well, but some messages are not balance correctly.

It's always the same type of messages: reading reports, reports of non-delivery and EXCHANGE INTERNAL messages (by internal I mean those sent by users in the same exchange server).

When read us about outlook or delete them, they mark as read or deleted on the BB. If read us IT the BB or remove them ON the BB, it removes Outlook.

all other messages are working properly. even for contacts, calendars, etc...

    can anyone help.

    Thank you

This will explain a lot about balance and hard deletes
KB04863 - final deletion of e-mail messages in Microsoft Outlook do not reconcile with the BlackB...

in a link above the KB in case you missed it
KB04853 - how to turn tough cuts on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server

I also changed the size of the status messages to 1000 and he cured 99 percent of our problems.
The performance hit and increase the RAM is almost zero in the box of BES.

    Check also double feature:

Make sure that combine wireless is enabled. Sometimes switching that off, save it, then turn it back on.
    Messages - Email reconciliation options-
    Remove the mailbox and Pocket,
    Wireless reconcile = Yes
    Conflict = victory of mailbox.

You can not put MS Office on the BlackBerry.

You CAN install applications for example DocumentsToGo, which includes WordToGo, SheetsToGo and SlidesToGo that will show MS Word documents, Excel and PowerPoint.

An upgrade of the OS 4.5 on your device will include the standard version of the basis for these applications.

What is your operating system: look at the Options > about, third line down, starting with a 'v.4.xxx '.
