  In space, we have a pop-up that displays the search results in a custom component that allows users to search for employees. We would like to navigate from the name of the employee found to his profile page. I set up a go-link, which works, but when browsing the pop-up window I get a dialog box top of the page asking the user to confirm that it navigates away from the pop up because it will be closed after this action. We want to block this confirmation dialog box. Any ideas on how to do this?

  To resolve this problem, do not add the code in the page of your component, it should be on the page of the spaces.

  For example: you have moved and abandoned your component on a page that is created in spaces on the run.

  Lets say that the page is Page11.jspx (you could see the name in the URL of the page)

  Step 1-> export MDS and locate the page, the path will be ususally look like this if you have created a page in SPACE

  / oracle/webcenter/page/scopedMD/s8bba98ff_4cbb_40b8_beee_296c916a23ed /.

  Step 2-> to the page that you want to add this component and add the code above.

  Step 3-> import back to MDS and check your feature now.

  NB: unchecking the "print layer" in the layer box Options does not work, unfortunately or not checking the "Unprintable" option in the attributes window. I have a feeling that it was something in the export dialog box, but certainly not an ermissions of security as the PDF option that I created last week does not require a password and does not print.

  I would create your security in Acrobat Pro.

  Open the PDF file and choose file > properties > Security.

  Set a Permissions password. Set up the document for printing. This does not require a password to open the document, but would require only a password if you want to change the settings.

• How to make the Xbox Music app to keep playing when switching away from him?

  OK, it MUST be a setting but I can't. But I open the music application, start to play music, click on the start page to start using Explorer or something and the music stops playing, or going so low you can't hear it (even if the volume is up) and when you switch to the app music stops all together. This is not the expected behavior, playing music background on a pc is pretty much needed!

  I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to answer for those who have the same problem.

  Indeed, this problem is solved by changing a setting.

  1. go on the desktop

  2. open the acoustic Panel

  3. click on your primary input device

  4. in the settings window, go to the Advanced tab

  5. uncheck the 'allow applications to take exclusive control of this device.

  Hope this has helped you and everyone else with the same problem.
