OfficeJet 4500 G510g: Impossible to uninstall HP Officejet 4500G510a-f (Windows 10)
My Officejet 4500 G510g HP Solution Center opens not once 10 Windows worm 1511 was expelled 12/30/2015. Windows KB3133431 update has been installed automatically on 06/01/2016 and who should have solved the problem, but he did not. I uninstalled my HP software and I ran HP Support Assistant to download the current software for my printer, but that didn't fix the problem either. I checked my HP programs in the control panel and found Officejet 4500 510a-f is installed. But, Officejet 4500 510g-m is what I need. I tried to install the software, g-m , without success. I also tried to uninstall the software from a to f in the Panel, but could not do that either. CCleaner comes with an uninstallation tool, but it also failed. Can someone give me help on how to removie this software (Officejet 4500 510a-f) of a machine Windows 10?
I was able to solve the problem. I downloaded a free trial of 30 days of Revo Uninstaller Pro and with her, I was able to uninstall HP Officejet 4500G510a-f. Once this is done, I managed to install the correct software for my printer. HP Solution Center is back on my desktop and everything works as it should.

I love having new things first. lol so when Windows 10 came out I had to update immediately. I should have checked to see if my programs and drivers were compatible. They were not. So I uninstalled 10 and I went back to 7. The only thing that seems to have been affected was my iTunes program. For some reason, I think that is the iTunes Installer has been moved or corrupted. The first time a new update was released for iTunes, my computer downloaded the new update, but it was impossible to remove the old program iTunes. So I tried to remove iTunes from Add/Remove programs function in the control panel. I get the following:
Any help would be appreciated!
First of all, try this--> https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/mats/program_install_and_uninstall?wa=wsignin1.0
If this does not work, try the freeware version of Revo Uninstaller--> http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html
If this does not work, try the free trial of Revo Pro, on the same page
Once uninstalled iTunes, see what--> https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204275
I tried to uninstall it using the option of area programs and features in Control Panel, as well as the case of uninstall in the program files folder. I ran this time as a normal user and as an administrator without success. I have will go through the process of uninstallation and finishing and asks me to restart my machine. When I reboot, the program is still their and won't disappear.
I'm trying to uninstall and reinstall Firefox to solve another problem. I get a record of required adobe flash when ever access to a site using flash. I have already installed the latest version of Adobe Flash and I even re-installed. I kept getting the same error. I don't get this error when I use Chrome or Internet Explorer.
I also downloaded the latest version of Firefox and installed to see if that would correct any corruption and that didn't work either.
Thanks for the tip, but we just found out the problem. Our work installed McAfee adapted that kept us from the uninstall and install programs, even though we had administrator rights. We had to stop McAfee services so that everything works correctly.

Original title: No place to enter the password administrator Windows 8
I read some previous discussions but did not get any answers that have worked for me. I have a new laptop and the account that somehow, I created by default to "prompt". I don't want to continue to use Norton or McAfee, but computer won't allow me to install anything else and it will not let me delete these two programs. Any action asks me to enter a password to Admin, but there's no need to enter the 'yes' is grey outside and not clickable. I can't find anywhere to change anything. Help, please. I have wireless internet so my computer is at risk until I get my new installed program.
Thanks for the update.

I have Officejet 4500 g510g-m connected by USB to a Toshiba laptop that is running Windows 7.
I got and error message "software HP is perhaps not able to scan the destination by default because the software is not available or does not work properly. When a scan of the printer is done using HP diagnostic every thing works fine if I get this error message.
Over time I got the impression that I uninstalled the printer several times and reinstalled, this time when I always get the error scan and sometimes an other error message with error numbers 8, reinstalled [(6,0,-2417319779)] tells me to reinstall the software.
I wonder if the problem with Windows updates. Between updates of Windows I can usually correct the error messages and the printer scanner works fine. This time, I can't solve the problem.
trishred, good for a later use HP made all our software and drivers available through our Web site. Just save the link below and if you need to reinstall the printer on this computer or another just select your operating system and follow the download instructions.
I am happy that this solved!
I have a printer all-in-one Officejet 4500 G510g-m. I tried to install & uninstall several times on A Dell 2.80 core dual processor
with 2.50 GB of memory. With Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit. Every time he tells me that I can't open the cause of box tool, that it is not connected... Printer, scanner and fax will appear on the control panel. Then, I made a full recovery on my PC and tried to install it again.
It allows to print when you do a copy, page test and wordpad, but not from Windows photo gallery and will not let you check ink levels.
How can I uninstall this thing and get out all the old files and get my right rear register. Also, how can I get this printer to work?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I did a microsoft Fix - it for windows tools, I ran a Revo Uninstall, then I did a disk cleanup.
Then I reinstalled the drivers I downloaded from HP and the HP software. The complete program,
Version 13.0. restarted the pc and it would not always print from windows photo gallery, but eventually, I went and bought a 3 feet for the printer usb cable and everything works fine now. I knew that when you scan, you have to scan my documents and then print it. Thanks a lot for your help.
I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
Printer recently started feeding the slightly twisted paper. Top left margin is 1 inch, low page 7/8 in.
This requires it a repair service or can do something to fix this problem?

I'm having a problem that gets worse. My OfficeJet 4500 G510g will not print a full page. I have installed the latest updates, verified that it's the default printer, aligned the cartridges 2 or 3 times, cleaned the printheads of 2 or 3 times. but no success in getting it to print an entire page
Thanks for getting back to me.
My suspicion was correct, there is a hardware problem with system of distribution of ink or cartridge.Have you tried these steps in my previous post?
I have a HP Officejet 4500 G510g-m all-in-One and Windows 7. Never any problems. In recent years, I have been fax from a dedicated line, separate from my regular telephone line. I decided to save money and my phone line fax. Other that simply move the fax line to a separate socket to the same wall jack as my phone and change the fax number box, is there anything else I should do? I did not move the phone cord to a different port on the fax - should I? I already ran a fax test and passed.
Thanks for any info.
9/29 - I just had a friend try to fax to me. The phone rang and rang even if I set to 2 rings. It's never logged and sent a fax.
9/29 again - I have an answering machine. I changed it to pick up to 4 fires and fax to pick up 6. I had a friend try to fax, it has not been connected. He received my faxesbut that I can't get any sound.
Looks like the problem may very well be Vonage. Since I msgd you I found 6 people with the same problem and none of them have been solved. I'll have to give up and return to the dedicated fax.
Thank you very much, Rich for all your help. It was a pleasure to work with you. It's just a pity that all your hard work has not solved the problem. But at least you know if someone else asks you for help with the same problem and they have Vonage, it's hopeless. Laughing out loud

If you receive a message about no Scan Options, so it is possible that the software has not been activated for scanning with the printer. Have you opened the Solution Center on the computer and tried to update the scanning to... settings in the settings tab at the bottom right of the window to the solution Center?
So, have you tried running printing HP and doctor Scan? It is an automated tool provided by HP for the many printing/scanning problems. Click here to access the PSDr HP.
I'd also take a look at the troubleshooting steps in the document located here. I hope this helps.

When I want to scan a document, I open HP Solution Center select Scan > Scan document. Open it and then imaging software I press scan and nothing happens, it just goes back to the HP Solution Center. The software does not.
I tried to use HP Scanner and Fax Troubleshooting Wizard, but it detects any problems. When I try to use the printer Scan option PC nothing happens.
I also tried to uninstall and reinstall HP solutions Center and the problem is still there.
The only solution I have found so far is to restart the laptop and turn the printer off. But do this every time I need to scan somethinf is not a solution to all the...
Can someone help me please?
Thank you for using the HP forum.

I install the drivers for OfficeJet J6450 on Windows 7 (64) and installation software doesn't detect USB connection. I recently had to upgrade Windows 7 in Place. The printer was working fine before the upgrade.
Looks like you need to uninstall what is already installed. Restart the computer and use the software features on the Web site to reinstall the printer.
Could not find a way to get rid of mysearchdial. no tab orange browser firefox so can't get to manage no Add ons and any program mysearchdial in the installed programs in Control Panel, so it is impossible to uninstall.
tried to change the home page but no matter what I do, mysearch dial remains there. went to mysearchdial web page, followed their instructions, no use. Tried to run malwarebytes anti-malware and it has not seen anything like that. my browser opens really slow. The Microsoft Security Essentials is not helping either. I tried booting from the ERD, start did not find any problem. the search on my computer for mysearchdial or something unknown shows nothing. ran put utilities at the point in the registry, found nothing.
What should I try next? Thank you very much.
The easiest way is probably to make a Reset of Firefox. This will return Firefox to its default settings. Your personal data (bookmarks, history, etc.) will be saved, but you will have to reinstall all your addons.
If you don't arrive in the Firefox Orange menu to do the reset and then close Firefox and then hold down the SHIFT key while you open it. This will bring up a menu that gives you the ability to reset Firefox.
The problem is that (as you've identified) there is a chance that Firefox will get hijacked again if you are unable to remove malware from your computer.
You can try these free programs to search for malicious software that work with your existing anti-virus software:
- Microsoft safety scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- TDSSKiller - AntiRootkit utility
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
I also suggest looking at the list of programs for starting and turning off one you don't want to or don't recognize. All that is originally from the diversion of mysearchdial is likely to be listed in the startup list, because he wants to run as soon as the computer starts.
I hope this helps. Let me know if not.
