OfficeJet 4500 G510g-m it not install correctly

I have a printer all-in-one Officejet 4500 G510g-m. I tried to install & uninstall several times on A Dell 2.80 core dual processor

with 2.50 GB of memory. With Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit. Every time he tells me that I can't open the cause of box tool, that it is not connected... Printer, scanner and fax will appear on the control panel. Then, I made a full recovery on my PC and tried to install it again.

It allows to print when you do a copy, page test and wordpad, but not from Windows photo gallery and will not let you check ink levels.

How can I uninstall this thing and get out all the old files and get my right rear register. Also, how can I get this printer to work?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I did a microsoft Fix - it for windows tools, I ran a Revo Uninstall, then I did a disk cleanup.

Then I reinstalled the drivers I downloaded from HP and the HP software. The complete program,

Version 13.0. restarted the pc and it would not always print from windows photo gallery, but eventually, I went and bought a 3 feet for the printer usb cable and everything works fine now. I knew that when you scan, you have to scan my documents and then print it. Thanks a lot for your help.

    Hi djbillyd,

Thanks for letting me know that the printer installed correctly on other computers.

Follow this post from @SuperMario1 to remove the printer files from the registry.

Driver HP deskjet D2300 series does not not in windows 7.

It's a different model, but it provides instructions to dig dip into the registry and get all of the HP software from the system.

You can also run the Microsoft Fix it Tool to the problems that programs cannot be installed or uninstalled.

    Let me know the results.

    Any help?

    Hello

The software for your printer is available through Apple Software update, and there is no installer available on HP.com. thjat means that use you a bad driver or a one that is not intended for Yosemite.

Remove incompatible software using Uninstall HP under Applications > Hewlett-Packard, then follow these steos to install the printer on your Mac:

  • OfficeJet J4580 not install correctly regardless of the method

Long story short, I had to uninstall and reinstall evrything and like last time, it will not install correctly.

The manual says to unplug the unit before installing the soiftware I did but it ended up installing without ever making me plg inside. I Reboot and "Document Manager" appears and I install other software from here - all except the picture one thing. But things do not work quite as it should. Doctor Scan and printing HP goes to its process and tells me "the comprehensive software solution for this product has not been installed" and then letting his work - install, I get an error without number, or something else to say simply: 'Download failed'. "." And 'Retry' will not work.

For a HP technician on a Board here I try the following:

Follow the steps below to update the software to the latest version.

    First step: clear temp directory

    1. tap folder in the race or search programs and files of field

2 Select all the files in this folder, and then press the delete key to remove. If you receive a message that the file is in use, you will need to ignore this file (s).

    3. proceed to step 2 below

Second step: downloaded and extracted to your system:

1 download the drivers and full software features

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=MP-79309-1&cc=us&DLC=en&LC=en&...

    2. once the download is complete, double-click the file to extract the software.

    3. when the installation window opens, press the Cancel button to stop the installation

    4. tap folder in the race or search programs and files of field

    5. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)

    6. right click on the folder and select copy

    7. close this window and all open windows, and then in the Middle the desktop right click your mouse and select Paste. This will move the 7z folder on your desktop.

8 open the 7z, that you just copied on your desktop

    9 open the Util folder

    10 open the CCC folder

    11 start the uninstall_L4

    12. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

    13. run disk cleanup from the tools Accessories\ system under all programs folder

    14. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

15 open the 7z folder and then double-click the Setup.exe file that will be towards the bottom of the open window. Follow the instructions on the screen to reinstall your printer.

The problem is not # 12: when uninstalling filled to restart the computer

    No uninstall never happens.

In any case then by downloading the installer to complete the installation of the window program tells me to plug in my cable. Well guess what. It is plugged in, but somehow, he thinks that it is not (although any other tried suggests that another part of the HP "brain" knows it's as the other things would have happened if it is not plugged in)

In any case I unplpug and reconnect, I reboot etc etc he still thinks that he's not pliugged in - even if step to ignore the "plug the cable into the part is taken.

Back doctor's Scan and the same thing happens mentoned above.

On my 1st installtion, way at the time where this printer gave me similar headaches, but many things were that it is impossible for me to rmember what finally worked.

Oh yes my OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

    Thank you

I solved my problem on my own. Here's how:

The method you mentioned has already been tried.

The problem was, I think, to uninstall the HP OfficeJet J4580 and its software a lot, but a lot of files and folders remain and are scattered everywhere and not just in the Program Files folder. This is also true for the registry entries.

So I was all uninstall again and this time made a search for everything under HP and Hewlett-Packard and remove all. After which I also used CCleaner to enter the remaining things in the windows registry - all carefully in all cases to ensure that I have do not uninstall, delete, or remove things dealing with my HP webcam.

Doing so and after a few reboots installation again and this time things developed accordingly.

I must say thatat first, it did not seem as if I had managed since the installtion software always kept thinking my HP wasn't pluggen in and connected. but he has been wrong on reboot everything has worked (except that I had to return to the installtion to install other software associated with it.

    Thanks for your help

  • Error while parsing - Officejet 4500 g510g-m

I have Officejet 4500 g510g-m connected by USB to a Toshiba laptop that is running Windows 7.

  • HP Officejet 4500 G510g-m: displacement of fax line dedicated to sharing with phone line.

I have a HP Officejet 4500 G510g-m all-in-One and Windows 7.  Never any problems.  In recent years, I have been fax from a dedicated line, separate from my regular telephone line.   I decided to save money and my phone line fax.  Other that simply move the fax line to a separate socket to the same wall jack as my phone and change the fax number box, is there anything else I should do?  I did not move the phone cord to a different port on the fax - should I?   I already ran a fax test and passed.

    Thanks for any info.

9/29 - I just had a friend try to fax to me.  The phone rang and rang even if I set to 2 rings.  It's never logged and sent a fax.

9/29 again - I have an answering machine.  I changed it to pick up to 4 fires and fax to pick up 6.  I had a friend try to fax, it has not been connected.    He received my faxesbut that I can't get any sound.

Looks like the problem may very well be Vonage. Since I msgd you I found 6 people with the same problem and none of them have been solved. I'll have to give up and return to the dedicated fax.

Thank you very much, Rich for all your help. It was a pleasure to work with you. It's just a pity that all your hard work has not solved the problem. But at least you know if someone else asks you for help with the same problem and they have Vonage, it's hopeless. Laughing out loud

    Bye!

  • HP Officejet 4500 wireless printer does not appear on the control panel

My HP Officejet 4500 wireless printer does not appear on the control panel.  How to fix it.  I have a laptop Toshiba and Windows 7 Home Premium OS.  Help, please.    rwillm

    Hey,.

Thanks for the update, rwillm.  It seems that the installation of the printer can be a little messed up.  If the printer software is always installed, but simply lacks the printer, then I would advise to do a little cleaning before choosing to add the printer back.

    • Make sure that the printer is deleted from the file devices and printers
    • Click on one of the remaining printers folder
    • Select the properties of the print server at the top of the window
    • Click the tab drivers
    • Remove all drivers in this window for the Officejet 4500

Also check in the Device Manager to verify that there is no mention of remaining of the 4500.

    • Click on the start menu
    • Right click on computer
    • Select manage in the list
    • Click Device Manager in the list of questions on the left side of the window that opens
    • Click the view at the top of the menu, and then select Show hidden devices
    • Remove all references to the 4500 in the list of devices

After making sure of the device is gone, I recommend bike devices in the power circuit: router, computer and printer.

    * Make sure the printer has a valid IP address after switching back on and is connected to the same network as your PC before adding the printer.

If the IP address and SSID are good for the printer, then try to add the printer with the printer software, you have installed.

    • Click on the Start Menu
    • Click on all programs
    • Open the HP folder
    • Open the folder for the series of the Officejet 4500 G510
    • Select Add a device option

Let me know how it goes,

    Jason

  • OfficeJet 6500 Solution center will not install/help files missing

    Hey community:

Have tried several times to install Officejet 6500 with the solutioncenter does not.  When I click on the icon to get an error message that the solution center was not installing correctly.  I saw a flash quick a message about the flash player, but on uninstall / installs later may not get the same message.

All proposals/solutions.  Am disappointed right now with the Hp Printer.  Online tech solution was to place shortcuts to scan ap and says the printer works perfectly like her without the Center as well as the fax, but cannot fax from word doc.

In addition, I don't have the help files to set up the printer.  Any help on that would be great.

    There could be two questions

    1. your computer does not have a more recent version. Please download and install. Now reinstall the hp software

    2. if above does not work. disable the firewall (including the windows firewall) and check the solution Center.
