OfficeJet 4500 g510g-m: officejet 4500 g510g-m (multiple issues)

I couldn't start my printer HP Solutions program.

I decided to uninstall the program from the printer and then reinstall it.

The re-installation was works well when all of a sudden, an error window appears:

"HP INSTALLER UNINSTALLER HAS STOPPED WORKING.

A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly.

Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. »

I closed all windows and saw another window indicating that if the uninstallation to be completed, the computer must be restarted.  I rebooted and got the following:

"HP Officejet 4500 g519g-m.

Select install to begin the installation of your new HP device".

The only thing I saw was "EXIT".

'INSTALL' never appeared.

All help will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Although I appreciate the help, I was able to solve the problem in a different way.

First of all, I decided to try my new copy of the new "HP Support Assistant".  The way the program progressed, I began to feel confident that this program would fix all the problems.  I'm sorry to say that it did not work in my case.  I finally had to re - install completely the C drive, up to five days.  It works beautifully.  All my problems have disappeared.  Thank you all.

  • OfficeJet 7612:7612 scan multiple pages to a Doc

We have recently improved our XP OS to Win8 and now custom 7612 scan multiple sheets in a single document.  When he scan (one sheet) it scans at 11 x 17, at the end of the analysis, it has gray shading. I tried changing the settings, but I am at a loss.   What I've read here the HP Director is supposed to pop up as well, in my opinion, that does not happen.  Help, please

    Hello @sprinklerlady!

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

I should be able to provide assistance on your Officejet 7612 does not scan multiple pages in a single document.  It looks like you can have just a software problem.  I think it would be a good idea to start over again and get rid of all printing software and reinstall it.   Once the uninstall is complete, it would be wise to perform a cleanup of the computer disk. A disk cleanup will improve the performance of the computer and remove the temporary files that may cause problems during the installation of the software. Once disk cleanup you must restart the computer and reinstall the HP software.

  • All-in-one HP OfficeJet 6100: cannot scan multiple pages to a PDF after upgrade to windows 10

I used to use Hexonic software ScantoPDF to scan multiple pages and save in a single PDF document. After the upgrade that software no longer works, even after I re-installed.

I searched for another free application and safe to use to scan documents to PDF format since HP has no software of the printer to the HP officejet 6100 and two scan Windows 10 applications are primitive (it doesn't have an output PDF option, and the other Scan, only lets you scan a page in a document.

  • OfficeJet Pro 7555 the analysis issue with a Win 8 64 bit OS

I have a new Dell with Win 8 64 bit OS.  I downloaded the new full version of the software on the site of HP for HP Officejet Pro l 7555 printer support.  Software installed and when you scan a multi page doc, scan will stop dead usually on the second or third page.  Then, the process seems to weigh and I then use the Task Manager to close the application.  It will not start scan again until I unplug printer, reconnect and restart.  To try another scan the same error occurs.  I reinstalled the software twice.  I could use some help.  Thank you

too_hot, we are looking for a show with a sweep to the right? Interestingly, it hangs at half way through. What this when you make a copy of several page of the machine directly?

    First round of this diagnosis:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03286146

Then we go to reinstall the software using a specific methodology.

First of all, if you use a USB cable, be sure to remove it. Do not plug it in again until the software instructs you. Through devices and printers, programs and features and issues Device Manager and make sure that all copies, files, and programs related to the printer are removed. As indicated, and then restart the computer.
  • OfficeJet Pro 8000 prints multiple pages of the same document

    Info:

    HP Officejet Pro 8000 A809a

    Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

Last driver and firmware from HP

When a job is sent to the printer (web, Word, Acrobat, etc.) the printer keeps printing multiple pages of the document.  Sometimes it will print the first page and a second partial page, then it reprinted again and stop at the same place on the partial page.  She does over and over again.  I ran the HP Diagnostic Utility and it was impossible to print a test page, even after turning the power on power off, then on.   Any suggestions, or is * another * bad printer?  The first was sent and replaced, so I think that this model is just a lemon.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it didn't work.  I tried to reinstall the driver altogether package three times with no result.  I ran the utility programs that supposedly allows you to solve problems, but public services could not even to generate a test page.

It seems that I finally found a solution, however.  I installed an older driver for MS Vista 64-bit, and that seemed to do the trick.

  • Officejet pro 8100 chart printing issue...

    Hello

I bought a HP Officejet 8100 pro a few months ago, and I had trouble printing graphics on this subject. For some reason, no matter how I set the page to print, he ended up a very large part of the print image on a full page instead of the page I set out.

The printer is connected to the network via CAT5 (NOT the USB) cable, and I use the Officejet BASIC drivers.  The graphics are print sources - some are directly from a Web page, some are printing through Corel Draw or Photopaint (X 3), and I have the same problem that I print out an old computer from Windows XP or a Windows 8 pc brand new.

For example, in the past when I would print a graph of Corel Photopaint (something I scanned), regardless of the size of the image (physical size or DPI), all I had to do was set the page layout in the control panel of the printer to print as indicated or adjust α page and the printer would print it as it would look in the "Print preview" pane   But now it only prints part of the graph and print very large even if the size of the graphic is show less than 8 1/2 x 11.

I tried to reduce the DPI of the image, but it does not help.  I usually scan at 300 dpi, but still reduced to 72 dpi file, does not help.  All what happens is the file prints the same very large size, but then is pixelated.  I also tried to reduce the much smaller physical size - say up to 3 'x 5', but it will not always print the full graphic.  It will only print on a 1/4 of the image and place it at the bottom right of the page.  And the printed area will measure 3 "x 5".

There really scratching my head.  I looked in all the printers setting panels for something that could be an adjustment of the layout and change anything to even remotely suggest it would help, but can't find anything that would allow me to make the appropriate adjustments in order to print correctly.    I use HP printers for nearly 20 years and used all types (of Officejet, Deskjet, Photosmart, etc.), but it's the first one that left me speechless.  I like how frugal, is with his use of ink, but if I can't print my chart, his frugality is wasted on all pages of the curse.

Print the note driver... I voluntarily has not installed FEATURES COMPLETE drivers because I know how intrusive, they can be and will install more things than I care to use or to have installed on my computer, so I prefer NOT to install these drivers, unless it's my only option to resolve the issue.

    Any suggestion would be appreciated.

    Kind regards

  • OfficeJet 6500 installation on multiple computers

Yesterday, I was on the phone for more than 3 hours with HP technical support to getthis printer installed on a computer.  We finally had success.  Very satisfied with the result.  I wish I could use it as a network for the other 3 computers printer.  Two of them are laptops that connect to my wireless router and the third is an office that connects via a network cable.  I could find no instructions detailed on how to achieve this.  I also want to say that it is impossible to connect to each of them via USB installing, especially one that is not wireless.

Can someone help me with this.  I'm a little on computers (very dangerous), but not an expert in none.

    Thank you in advance.

Once the printer on the network, run the Setup CD on other computers that you want to print from.  The USB cable is just used to help get the Officejet 6500 on the network.

For example, I never use the USB cable for the printer on the network.  I usually jump to the built-in web server the printer via the printer's Ad - Hoc wireless network, run from there wireless configuration wizard and then run the program to install SW on the PC.

I have trouible occasionally with my loading several pages OfficeJet l7580.  I did a search and found the subject, but the image and the description of how to clean the rollers and the separator button did not correspond to what looks like my L7580.  Or maybe that I don't see how to get open.

The url with the image of the printer is:

I took a picture of what my L7580 looks like with the door open, but I don't have a url I can to load.

You should be able to lift the upper part of the ADF and open this area with the firm applied pressure. Once opened, these areas must be cleaned with a fluffy like a coffee filter.

The ADF door may not want to move, but should be open if you pull it gently.

  • HP OfficeJet Pro 8600-N911a: connectivity issue - used to work fine, now no connection most often

Just noticed over the last few days.  Had installed Kaspersky Internet Essensials for Mac 2016 on my iMac, a week or two and thought that may be the cause of the problem.  So I disabled Kaspersky for several hours and it made no difference where the connection to the printer.  Interesting thing is that the printer shows every evidence of being connected: Wireless indicator is turned on, run the connectivity test and it passed with flying colors.  But when I get to the top of the State of the printer Mac preferences (what etc.), it is said generally 'non connected' if I turn the printer power off and on again, then use the HP printer utility, it will be good for a short period and then loses connectivity again.  Also, when I hit the "Print" button to print something from my imac, the task appears in Quebec, but when I do the same thing of Chromebook my wife, it is not even to get to the what.  Am using Safari as the default browser, a WiFi with Hello.  Help!

    Bob.m

Many, Gemini02, thanks for your help.  Reason why I did not respond earlier was simply that it took quite some time to go through all the troubleshooting steps that you suggested.  Went through all the 1 section without success, although this point begins to think that the problem might not be with the printer, ther as much as possible on my Mac, HP, or Apple printing software - wasn't sure which.  Because the indications of the printer: indicator wireless, various reports of network printer, etc., all indicated that the printer is connected, all the indicators 'pass' or excellent.  At this point, however, I could not add the 8600 to my printer list, not he would give me a list of printers to select from.  It only showed my old 1012 Laserjet HP connected by USB.

Then I went to your next suggestion (printer does not keep the wireless connection). Went to french the first four steps.  Now, has been able to find the 8600 on the case of the printer-Scanner and reinstall the printer.  Everything seems to be good now; He has been correct riunning for more than 3 hours.  I assume that if the problem comes back, either, I do step 4 all over again, or I do step 5?

Another somewhat related question that you may or may not be able to respond to the.  In other words, when I print anything Google drive (docs, sheets, etc.) or other Google sites - when I go to print everything just goes to a washed out gray and I cannot print at all.  Instead, I download my file in pdf format and print from an excerpt.  Drizzle this to say that my Google Print needs to be put in place again.  Have not had the chance to follow still on it.

    Again, thanks for you help!

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 Installation/use issues

I recently bought the all-in-one above and connected on a Windows XP system.  I recently bought a new computer with Windows 7 and the unit seems to work fine but I have a few questions about its programme of installation/use.

    1. on my old computer, I remember having a 'manual' on the computer.  This doesn't seem to be available with the transition to the new system?  I tried to reload the software setup, but it said something like "system not supported"?  Is it possible to get this restored functionality?

    2. I see where it seems that there are new drivers for Windows 7 - if my 8500 does not work properly, is it interesting in the upgrade?

    3. I just tried to print checks (pre printed on paper) with Quicken 2010 for the first time with this new printer and when I go to print, the 'controls' are printed from the paper tray rather than the document feeder automatic where I white controls (when I put in the blank in the automatic documents feeder checks the display confirms insertion of the original ready to load or somesuch).  Sort of designate after checks taken from the ADF instead of paper tray?

    Thanks for any info.

DexterM, did as you suggested and downloaded the package of 'complete the software' very large.  Exactly what I was looking for.  Thank you much for your able support; I really appreciate the help!

  • Officejet pro 8600 premium printing issues

    1. How can I set up my printer to use the 2 for the pink paper tray and Tray 1 for white. I need to print invoices (2 copies) 1 white and 1 pink. It would be so nice to just leave the choice in tray 2 instead of opening and closing Tray 1 constently put rose in.

    2. How can I set up all my contacts fax so I don't have to repeatedly type in their number when sending faxes from your computer?

Set your tray 2 paper type to custom 8.5 by 11, normal (assuming that the pink media is basically regular media with coloring) and the State of charge bar.

When you're ready to print the first copy normally, job for the second time that you send the same print job in the pilot that opens choose custom tray 2 and send the task.  The first is to print the set a, the second job should print from tray 2.  Good luck (my expertise is mainly laserjet, but this should be the same for inkjet)

    (2) I have I have change the host name of the example 'dhcppc99' to 'HP8600', it is referred to the 'dhcppc99' after printer restart. Any chance to keep the new name after the printer is restarted?

Are you still facing this problem? If you are I will do my best to help you.

Verify that the printer software and firmware are up-to-date.

When you assign the static IP address?

You can reserve the IP address of your router?

If you do not experience this problem any longer, can you let me know, your time and courtesy.
    will be highly appreciated.

    I hope this helps!
