  I'm having a problem with my ink cartridges. Yesterday I bought a pack of 4 inks (564XL) for my 4620 printer all in one and I have replaced three of them (Cyan, Magenta and yellow). This morning my printer tells me that these three should be replaced again. I have not more 30 pages printed since yesterday.

  It would be a problem with my printer or ink cartridges? What should I do? I printed a test page, and of course the new ink cartridges need to be replaced again.

  Any suggestion or help would be appreciated.

  Is it possible to set up a HP officejet 4620 fax in black only?  There are too many steps by sending a fax.  It is the first HP all-in-one that asks you if you want to fax in black or color.  I bought this machine to be used in the Office of the Director of our office.  She likes not all choices of fax on.  If we can set the machine to fax in black only without the extra step, it would be a great help.

  There is unfortunately no way to do it from the front panel. This option is built into the firmware of the printer. Looks like you will need to choose 'black' or 'color '.

  Date and time should be correct on the printer, because that's what the fax report reflects.   To change this, you must press the Setup menu (key), then use the arrows to navigate in 'Preferences' and then select the Date and time then tap ok .  Then use the arrows to navigate to the part of the date or time to change (hour/minute), use the number keypad to enter the desired time.

  The steps will guide you through the process of turning off fax reports.

  1. on the control panel of the printer, select the key icon.
  2. scroll until you see reports, select reports.
  3 fax reports should be number 4.

  Try to implement OfficeJet 4620 wireless laptop running Windows 7.  Wireless set in place works.  When a document is printed, a fax page.  Document never print to the printer.  After you set up the printer name is preceded by FAX.  Have deleted the printer and re-installed several times.  Do not see possibility to do something different.  Any help appreciated.

  @GuyNameDavid, sorry that you experience this problem with setting up a default printer.

  Try uninstalling and reinstalling the software and drivers. Do you still have the CD?

  Apparently I never understood what the auto answer for the fax machine.  I had always had put auto answer until recently when calls non-Fax began to be answered by the fax machine. There is a telephone and answering machine sharing the same line with the fax machine.  Fax has been implemented to meet the 2 ringtone (minimum).  The answering machine has been implemented to meet 6.   I had always thought the machine waited for a signal of the fax program, which you can hear when a remote fax machine attempts a call.  If something has changed because now I have to set the answering mode manual Fax, so it does not meet a non-Fax call.

  I'm not asking what or why things have changed.  But I would like to know why HP make the truly automatic auto answer feature and only answering fax calls.

  Auto answer means the answers incoming fax all call automatically, it does not refer to any call type detection listed in the manual of the printer.

  The printer can work between a TAM (answering machine), but must be configured properly, the fax must meet rings 1-2 after the TAM, then the fax works only if a fax signal is detected.

  I suggest to set your answering machine to answer after 4 rings and the fax after 6 rings.

  1. press on the installation icon (key)

  2. highlight and press the setup of the fax machine (2)

  3. highlight and press the basic menu (3)

  4. highlight and press (5) Volume sound Fax

  • Loud

  Adjust the Volume:

  1. press the Setup (key) icon

  2. go to preferences

  3. go to Volume

  4. choose the desired option

  Turn off wireless light:

  My Officejet 4620 analysis nor documents several pages in a single PDF file.

  Under Windows7, I used my officejet 4620 very often to scan large documents into a PDF document.

  At the bottom of the scan dialogue box there was always a plus to add pages in the analysis.

  It seems as if this sign has disappeared (thanks to the driver better?) upgrade to Windows 10.

  Anyone know what I can do to restore this functionality?

  I have an Officejet 4620 and the printer doesn't print black ink.  Other colors print fine.  After spending $ 65, I've replaced the ink cartridges, and it would not print!

  This seems to be a very common problem with these printers because I have read several forums that describes the same thing, and HP does not seem a good solution or offer of difficulty or the problem.  I noticed most positions with this question end up making a private offline message.

  Before I wonder, the printer is no longer under warranty and I live in the United States.  PLEASE HELP ME!

• HP Officejet 4620: hpeprint used to work and now does not work

  I've registered to use hpeprint for a number of years and it has worked very well, although I don't use it very often. I had the opportunity to use it today and it doesn't seem to work. The printer is wireless and is great for everything else is not a local problem for me. I received an email from HP indicating that the print job has been received in too. Still not printing.

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

  I see that you have some problems with ePrint on your Officejet 4620 e-all-in-one printer. I can help you with that.

  First, a code of request is a way for HP connected connect a printer to an account. It has no use outside. That said, if the printer does not appear in the devices on the connected HP, this means that we connect the printer again. To do:

  1. On the printer, click the web services button that looks like a tablet with a phone beside her.
  2. If you see an email address click settings, scroll to remove Web Services and press on this subject to be deleted. When finished, click the web services button again.
  3. Press Setup and Yes. The printer should print a new claim code.
  4. Enter the claim code in the place under the devices tab which requires the claim code.

  Hi keep2,

  Your English is much better than my Italian.  In order to send and receive faxes, you will need to have a cable 2 son connected to a phone jack.  Looks like you have a digital phone line and that can cause problems with faxing at times.

  You will probably need a filter if your Internet provider and phone is the same.  You can probably plug the fax phone delivered with the printer into the phone jack where you have your phone on and send and receive faxes.  The phone can be connected to the Ext port on the printer.

  If you configure printer as explained to you and still have problems, you can run a Test Fax.  On the printer, press the button that has an image of a "key", select Toolsand then select run fax Test.  Everything must go.  Let me know how it goes.  I'll be happy to help you if you are still having problems.
