OfficeJet 4630 ext-2 does not work

Hung the officejet 4630 with new telephone cable. Fax works fine but my home phone no longer receives calls and it is connected to the Ext-2.

Hi progtodd,

I understand that your phone has not worked since linking your Officejet 4630 on your telephone line. I'm sorry to hear that, but I will certainly do my best to help you!

What is the phone that you have connected to the phone line? If this isn't the case, other phones still work properly in the House?

The cable you use to connect your phone to the printer, how son does have? If you look at the piece of plastic, you will see 2 or 4 wire.

Please ensure that your printer is get the latest Firmware and product updates as well.

If you run the fax test report (the document cannot send or receive faxes from measures) he finds all the problems?

  1. On the home screen, press the arrow down ( ) to scroll to Fax and press OK .

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 Scanner does not work with 10.4.11

My friend just upgraded to the OfficeJet 8500.  He already had a scanner and a stand-alone printer.  Yesterday, we installed the printer and software, but the scanner will not show either when you press the button on the front console or from the HP Director software.  Any suggestions?  Printing and copy of work currently functions.  His system is an iMac G5 20 ", Mac OS x 10.4.11.  OfficeJet is connected via USB.

Well Yes, even 2.0 compatible hubs can get in the way of scanning (but usually not print).  Try a direct contact with a known good USB cable.

You can try uninstalling the scrubber, its probably a good idea if there are old pieces of HP software on your system.

  • OfficeJet 7210 printing preferences does not work with the driver for Windows 8

I have successfully installed the driver of Windows 8 (64 bit) full of features.  Printer copy, scan, fax and print from the computer.  However, I'm no longer able to print in grayscale, select a print quality (fast draft, project, etc.) and choose the paper type on the printer menu shortcuts in the printing preferences.

In the box "what do I want?" and choose fast/economical printing, the selections above will appear in the list of options, but when you go to select an option in the drop-down lists that can empty al.

You probably work with a more basic driver in Windows 8, and this is why you are not able to use these features. I would check to see if there is another driver that will allow you to use the. Here's a message written by a colleague who deals with how you can do this:

  • On Officejet 6500 E709a scanner does not work

I have a HP officejet 6500 E709a all-in-one printer. Part woks fine print. The scanner only works 5% of the time. When I run diagnostics it says that there is a communication problem between the printer and Windows 7. I bought a new printer and it did the same thing. We uninstalled and reinstalled everything and I still have the same problem.

  • Update of firmware for Officejet 6500 E709n Wireless does not work

My OS is Win XP.  My printer keeps locking up.  I found a forum that says to use #6 when starting.  It works for a few hours, but it ends by crashes again once it goes into mode 'sleep'.  I found another blog that said to install the latest firmware.  I discover that I have firmware version 907AR, and HP web site has 935AR.  I downloaded the update and tried to install it.  He gets where extract the files, and then it throws the following error:

Firmware download utility has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Has anyone else had the same problem?  I disabled the wireless printer and connected to my PC via USB to perform the installation.  I tried to save the firmware utility and running it from my hard drive and it works on the HP website with the same result.

Never mind.  I followed the instructions by NOT using my wireless connection.  The printer connected to the USB port caused the installation fails.  When I ran the update, while the printer is connected wireless, the installation worked.  I just did the update, so I'll have to wait and see if it solves the problem with the gel printer.

  • My password for the integrated on my HP OfficeJet 8100 Web server does not work

I entered my password, and kept the username by default (admin), but now I can't access the pages of EWS (locked).  How can I reset EWS (or the full printer) to the factory settings?

Maybe my password is too long?  (20 characters)

    Thank you!

    Hello

Please, make sure that you type the user as administrator when you type the password, then check to see if that can help you.

If the same persists, reset the network settings, which will also reset the administrator password:

If necessary, print a Network Setup page to find the IP address if it has changed, which can be done by pressing a second time the summary and the button wireless on the printer control panel.

    Kind regards

  • Using the function of scan macOS Sierra HP Officejet 7300 series network printer does not work; He had no problem with El Capitan...

Printer HP Officejet 7300 network series that allows to work flawlessly with El Capitan does not work after the upgrade to Sierra.

With macOS Sierra, when used as a network print service printer works fine however scan does not work. Programs like the Image Capture, HP Easy Scan etc does not see the printer. However, if the printer is directly connected to the Macbook Pro using the usb cable, a new printer is added to the list of printers (it shows print and scan functions while the printer network in the list shows only printing function) and the scanner works well with Image Capture, etc. If the usb cable is removed disconnects this printer in the list and there is no way to turn it on. I have the latest update for the printer installed from the App store. It looks like a driver issue, but I wonder if there is a work around for this problem...

Open Preview.app. Under file in the menu bar, you see import of 'name of your scanner?

Try the scan using the Image Capture in your Applications folder.  Click your scanner on the left side, click "Show details" on the bottom.
