  At this point given that the PIN code is assigned by eFax, I contact them and let them know you are unable to access the PIN and you attempted to have their site send you it in an e-mail. They should be able to give this information. The phone number is 1-800-958-2983. They would be those who have to give you that PIN because this information is with them in their systems.

• EFax for HP 6525

  I called HP Support and just after 44 minutes of my life that I can't come back. I get services eFax free and after 44 minutes and repeat the same information repeatedly to 2 HP support staff, I now have to wait 4 days for hopeully solve this problem of eFax, because it is a "problem of eFax.  How about adding an Article to the Knowledge Base with the steps to contact first, or even better, eFax eFax step will provide to us to solve this problem? It makes me wonder if HP and or eFax hope we consumers might give up trying to get the eFax free service. Extremely frustrated.

  I just bought this printer and had time to implement the eFax. Is it true that the eFax cannot be implemented on a computer Apple? If so, why? It's really disappointing if it's true.

  Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that you have read some old information eFax which indicated that customers who use Macs are unable to use the eFax supplied with your printer Photosmart 6520 feature.

  Take a deep breath and smile because this information is no longer valid, you can install eFax and use it with your Mac. I've included the document Getting Started with eFax . I just noticed that this document also has this incorrect information in it.

  Hello, like other posters here I'm setting up eFax on my Mac to HP Photosmart 6520.  When I click on the eFax the button "create account" is grayed out.  Would appreciate ideas on how to solve this problem, thank you.

  Don't know what was the next step, TwoPointOh, but in the meantime I received an eFax account by contacting HP Cloud Services at 1-855-785-2777.  I gave them all the information about my printer, and a few days later, I received an email from eFax with a new phone number and a PIN.  In the meantime, I went on these forums for other solutions, but in the working end HP phone contact.

  So for all those who have an eFax "in gray" button signup for their HP6520, recommend this approach.  eFax has taken a bit of time (I think about 4 days) but in the end, they provided the new fax and PIN number.

• No outgoing efax for free, even if HP told us 20 in and out 20 for free.

  Why HP say 20 in & efax, when efax only allows 10 in. and none out for free?

  What printer do you have? To get the 20 incoming and outgoing fax free with your Hp Printer, you must sign up for eFax using your printer. If you register for the service at the eFax website you won't get the option for 20 free Fax per month.

• Impression of eFax with Officejet 6700

  I was told that there is an APP for Efax for the printer. However, not that you have Connect HP, you cannot access the HPePRINTcenter where the application is supposed to be. Now, none of the applications on my printer are available as the printer says that it cannot connect to the network. The printer is connected to the network and when you run the tests it appears. But STILL no applications are available.

  I hate HP CONNECT because it is so limited in what it offers, give back me the old HPePrintcenter!

  The range of printers Laserjet do not come with an eFax free account, but if your Laserjet supports the ePrint feature, then it is compatible eFax. I've included the printers supported for eFax for reference. Please note that the Photosmart 6520 Series printers are absent from the Photosmart list.

  I have an EFax # I have used for years and it was on my printer 7510.  I downloaded new drivers for my printer because of my Win 8.1 new HP Pavilion and the printer settle with an EFAX account using my alternate email address.  Is there a way to remove one of the EFax # or reset the printer to my old EFax #?

  Solved: Received instructions from EFax for restoring to factory default.  I was then able to reset the FAX # in the printer and print a page to the hpconnected.com to reset the printers claim code.

  Hi, one of the reasons why I bought my Photosmart 7510, was the free eFax features 20 pages sent and 20 pages receive FREE. So, when I used the eFax for the first time, he gave me a (long-distance) number. I had no other choice but to accept that number. So whenever someone could send me a fax (even if it's in the same area code), they will have to pay toll. It is not too bad. But when I sent a fax to a local recipient (same code regional I), the outgoing fax number (10 digits) turn at the 01 11 then the fax number! If I understand correctly, I had to dial a number of countries to send a fax to my neighbor. Is there something I'm missing or 20 pages are free but you will have to pay toll every time I send or receive faxes?

  With eFax, your faxes are sent through the internet, not the phone line.  Phone connections are all made with the eFax service but your part of the process of eFax is done through your internet connection.

• Cannot send efax, but can receive

  I can't send an efax.  I can't don't connect, with the fax number and identification number, no problem, also able to receive faxes no problem at all.  I double check the web services and the eprint service is.  also printed reported and followed the steps.  Ive also changed the pin code and changed the hpeprint email address, which is updated automatically on the side of efax.  But when I try to send efax, it says sending efax for about 2 minutes and then says that I don't have a network connection.  I have erased all the wireless settings and tried to readd and send wireless printing and a fax sent again, that works very well but still not able to send faxes.  I don't know what to do, help me please.  It's a Hp e-all-in-one printer c311 photosmart 7510

  If you are able to go back to the old modem that may be the best bet. Yet a new router and use the tg862 as a modem will continue to have the problem. Available modems to comcast also vary according to the place, so that they had only this new model to provide you with and nothing else.

  I've set up eFax and I am able to send faxes, but received faxes do not print that they are apparently received on the printer as they appear on the number of numbers and I can see a file with the date and time but on typing on mini screen nothing happens.
