OfficeJet 6500 E709n: Unable to find network printer

Accidentally deleted woman printer of his laptop computer.  Try to reinstall.  Printer is connected in wired ethernet.

Printer connects to another computer very well. (occurs regularly as the printer automagically to uninstall this other computer)

-Ran "Add a printer" with laptop connected to wifi.  No printer found.

-J' tried Advanced, enter the IP address and HPDF598E. No printer found.

-Tried the computer connection laptop wired ethernet. No printer found.

-Tried to enter the IP address again.  No printer found.

-Tried "add a printer" running as an administrator.  No printer found.

-Opening web page on printer by typing the IP address.  Can see just fine printer to laptop via wifi or cable.

Performed various uninstall, reinstall, restarting the laptop and printer power cycle throughout the connection attempt.

Any ideas how to get the software to see the printer?

Hi @megabite,

According your description and what you've tried, I think that the question has something to do with something on the computer, not the printer or the network. We will try a few things to try to identify the problem.

Let's start with a clean boot.

  1. Enter in the right edge of the screen and then click on Search. Or, if you use a mouse, point to the corner bottom right of the screen, then click on Search.
  2. Type msconfig in the search box and then press or click on msconfig.
  3. On the Services of the System Configuration dialog tab, tap or click to select the hide all Microsoft services check box, and then press or click disable all.
  4. Under the Startup of the System Configuration dialog tab, tap or click Open the Task Manager.
  5. The tab to Start in the Manager of tasks, for each startup item, select the item, and then click disable.
  6. Close the Task Manager.
  7. Under the boot of the System Configuration dialog box tab, press or click OK, and then restart the computer.

* When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start normally.

    Hi rich,

The software provided for Mac OS X 10.8 Lion mountain for your printer cannot scan of the façade, but only from Mac using picture Capture, preview or printing & scanning.

You can find the software information and capabilities listed below:

    Hi @JSvWyk,

Am I assume it looks something like this?

You may need to change the language of your operating system. Research I've done, it seems that some languages, such as English (United Kingdom), cause this hiccup. Please check or change your language to English ( States- United).

To check or change your current settings, go to control panel and select clock, language and region, and then select change regions. On the Format tab, select English (United States). On the location tab you have the United States in the current location of falling down and then select apply.

Please let me know if I indeed understood the question correctly, and if the problem is now resolved. Thank you.

  • My officejet 6500 e709n makes the sound of printing but nothing comes out on the page. thoughts?

I replaced the ink cartridges, cleaned the print head, turned switch, unplugged for a reset and reinstalled on my computer (Mac OSX 10.5.8).

Nothing seems to be a problem with the printer visually - not clear jams oddities in the internal mechanisms.  He just "pretended" to print.

Some error messages I received early in the troubleshooting process has suggested that ink cartridges are not compatible with the device (they are) and a warning to use the power button before turning off the power.

There are more messages on the screen - complete just the icons of ink.  Everything seems normal.

    Thanks for your time!

    Hi @jhrhilltop,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I read your post and see that you cannot print after you install the printer on Windows 10. I will definitely do my best to help you. If this helps you to find a solution, please click on the button "Accept as Solution" down below in this message. If you want to say thanks for my effort to help, click on the 'Thumbs Up' to give me a Kudos.

It does not resemble drivers for the printer installed correctly.

Run all the updates of Windows on the computer.

I would say to uninstall the printer software. Unlock the hidden administrator account, then install the printer on this account:

Note: Do not connect the USB cable until you are prompted during the installation.
Go to your Start menu and in the box "search programs and files", type CMD.
CMD will fill as an option to search above, just right-click on it and "run as Administrator".
Once opens in CMD (command prompt), type net user administrator / Active: Yes and press ENTER.
Then, close CMD and then restart your computer.
When your computer is on the newspaper in the new account which should show. It will be called Administrator and will not have a password on it.
If your computer automatically connects to your account after reboot than to go to your Start menu, click the arrow next to 'shutdown' and choose 'change user '. Now log on to the administrator account, that we have just released.
Under the administrator account, install the printer software.
    Test the printer.
To disable the Admin account start at step 1 and type net user administrator / active: No..

    Test the printer.

Please let me know the result and if there is anything else I can help you. Thank you.

  • Install HP Officejet 6500 E709n failure - can't see the printer on the network

My HP Officejet 6500 E709n refuses to acknowledge that he is already on the network a specific IP address and used by other computers in my house. How can I get this software install to work?  I have to let Windows 7 install its own version, which worked (sort of).  I prefer having the center of solutions for scanning, but the HP install software (full version), in contrast to the MS Windows 7 software, can't find the printer on the network, even when I give the software the exact IP address.

(Yes, I uninstalled all the pieces I had to uninstall in Control Panel by the NSB instructions re-re-re-install software page.)

    Hi rchimes,

Thank you for the update. If you are unable to get the problem solved after using the doctor print and Scan follow the steps to scrub the software on the computer and then reinstall it.

    First step: clear temp directory

    1. tap folder in the race or search programs and files of field

2 Select all the files in this folder, and then press the delete key to remove. If you receive a message that the file is in use, you will need to ignore this file (s).

    3. proceed to step 2 below

Second step: downloaded and extracted to your system:

1 download the drivers and full software features

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/WC/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=MP-77752-2&CC=US&DLC=en&LC=en&os=4063&Product=3795406&sw_lang=

    2. once the download is complete, double-click the file to extract the software.

    3. when the installation window opens, press the Cancel button to stop the installation

    4. tap folder in the race or search programs and files of field

    5. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)

    6. right click on the folder and select copy

    7. close this window and all open windows, and then in the Middle the desktop right click your mouse and select Paste. This will move the 7z folder on your desktop.

8 open the 7z, that you just copied on your desktop

    9 open the Util folder

    10 open the CCC folder

    11 start the uninstall_L4

    12. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

    13. run disk cleanup from the tools Accessories\ system under all programs folder

    14. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

    http://www.Adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

15 open the 7z folder and then double-click the Setup.exe file that will be towards the bottom of the open window. Follow the instructions on the screen to reinstall your printer.

  • Mobile print wireless HP Officejet 6500 (E709n) issues by using a Wi - Fi connection...

I have a HP Officejet 6500 (E709n series) I can print is no longer my Android device base. I have the latest drivers installed on my Win 7 64 bit Premium edition and have flashed the latest firmware available on the HP site. There was a time there is not if a long time where I downloaded and installed an application from HP from the Android Market, which has helped with my mobile device print to my wi - fi active and configured the HP 6500. My phone broke and I had to re - download and install applications. It seems that HP ePrint home & Biz app is the only option here and what I've read, this app is not compatible with hP ePrint. Am I missing something or is this completely lame to stop a year old for a sentence printer support?

    Hello JayyTeee,

I'm sorry for the problem you are experiencing.

It sounds as if you print wirelessly from your Android phone on the same network as the printer.

It is actually different from ePrint.

The home & Biz app aims mainly to print on the same wireless network.

If the application is not find the printer, I would do that the phone and the printer are on the same network.

If they are on the same network, then I would try uninstall and then reinstall the home & Biz from the Android Market app.

  • OfficeJet 6500 E709n: Officejet 6500 E709n - 10 Windows - printer automatically a 'break '.

I had my Officejet 6500 E709n for about 4 + years and use it wireless network with my network router. I upgraded my laptop (Toshiba Satellite) (as of December 2014) 8.1 to win to win 10 this week. The upgrade itself went smooth but I had to update the driver from the HP website. Now, I noticed that when I take my Windows logon, I see a pop-up that my HP printer is paused. I noticed it first last night and again this morning. What gives? I thought about posting this here, first to check if anyone else has noticed this.

Thanks Waterboy71! Strangely, when I rebooted after posting my question, I don't see the message "Paused". Very strange.

    Hello

    1. which version of the operating system are you using?

2 did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    Method 1:

Try the HP Print and Scan doctor.

    See the following site:

    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&docname=c03286146.

    Method 2:

    See the following site:

    Printer in Windows problems

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/help/printer-problems-in-windows.

To install the latest drivers, download the utility software to remove the HP software and then install the most recent drivers.

    Step 1:

Download the utility software on the site mentioned below:

    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=3795406#N397.

    Step 2:

You can download the driver from the below website:

    32 bits:

    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4062&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=3795406#N203.

    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=3795406.

    Method 3:

I suggest you to see the site mentioned below:

    Choose printing options

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Choosing-print-options.

I have sought and found how to use # and 3 keys for a partial resets when you plug back in the power supply, but after I did it is still the same as before?

I unplugged the power supply and all the rest and sit all night and this morning it did the same thing.

Is it possible to do a complete reset instead of a part of the console?

    Thank you

    Ken

OK tried to edit the post previous to add to this, but has not see a button "Edit"?

So I got the printer Open as when you change cartredges and noticed that the print heads has not moved at the Center as usual?  Tried moving the print head with my hand and he moved only about 1/4 "back and all of a sudden the print head moved to the center that he assumed?  Closed the top and crossed a calibration and then printed that and now it works again.  Go figure!

I guess that's a mechanical and electrical/electronic problem rather than something.  I looked and didn't see anything wrong with gears and stuff on top so it can be one problem somewhere else.

Ennywho, I will continue to use it like that too long it will work.

    Thank you
