  I would like to sent to print on my printer 7525 jobs. I have this printer for some time and when I tried to use wireless until I couldn't go wireless.   I have an Intel wireless card and the driver install this utility (Precision M4400 under XP Pro SP3). When I try to connect to a network secure, instead of asking for a WEP key it wonder about ownership of the device and indicates that I should be able to find this number on the device. In this field, that I can type only in number, therefore impossible to enter a normal alphanumeric key.

  How can I ask him just the correct password, just like the utility of Windows? I read through the instructions and I have not found the answer. There may be a setting somewhere buried?

  One of my employees has reported the same issue.   I never encountered this problem before, but it's been long that I used this utility.  I used workaround is to create a profile for the network wireless using the Intel PROset/Wireless configuration utility.   Double-click the Intel Wireless Radio icon in the bottom right of the screen.  Click the Add button to create a new profile. Enter a unique profile for the connecton and then the SSID name.  Choose "Network (Infrastructure)" choose the type of security (personal or business), then the security settings (is it for my connection WPA-Personal (AES-CCMP).)  Click on OK and then close the profiles window.  You should be able to connect automatically to the profile.  I hope that helps!

  Hi all, I'm new here. I am a complete newbie to routers. I just got a Linksys WRT54GL. I managed to plug it in and it works but lost my phone service Primus IE D-link (KVD-1120).  I had going from modem to the Linksys router this router for the d-link has however led to d-link and phone does not work.

  I called Primus and after waiting on my phone cell phone $20 and 1 hour and 20 minutes later, they were no help other then to tell me that the modem must be connected directly to the D-Link and that somehow, I had to find a way to connect the Linksys router for the D-Link (only 1 WAN and 1 Ethernet port on the back (a).

  Someone along the way also told me that I had to reconfigure certain ports or open some more. I don't know how or what is the same.

  If someone is able to help, I would appreciate it so. Please guide me through it, I don't know how to find the ip address is if I need to do. (read that somewhere)

  If your Modem is already connected to the D-Link router and your phone is also connected to the D-Link router, because your D-Link router has only 1 WAN and 1 LAN Port, then you can connect the ethernet cable between the LAN Port of the D-Link router to the Internet Port on the Linksys router and configure all the settings on your Linksys router.

  Open an Internet Explorer browser on your computer (desktop) wired page. In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1 and press ENTER... Let the empty user name & password use admin lowercase...

  For wireless settings, follow these steps: -.
  Click on the Wireless tab
  -Here, select manual configuration... Wireless network mode must be mixed...
  -Provide a unique name in the name box of the wireless network (SSID) in order to differentiate your network from your network of neighbors...

  -Set the Standard - 20 MHz Radio band and change the Standard channel to 11-2, 462 GHz... Wireless SSID broadcast should be enabled and then click on save settings...

  Thanks for the reply.  According to the information provided, it seems that the USB port on the printer is faulty.  It is possible that both cables are defective, but it is unlikely.  According to the age of the model, the unit is probably out of warranty.  You can check the warranty status .  If one of the following connection options are not feasible, a replacement unit will be necessary. If the unit is out of warranty it is not covered, and the unit will need to be upgraded. Support information phone HP can be found here.

  Possible connection options:

  1. infrastructure network with router (this will not work with the map broadband) - wired with Ethernet connection or wireless radio

  2. direct network Adhoc-I do not recommend this, it will provide the feature with the connected computer, but other only single connection while the printer is connected (no internet access during this time)

  Try this to see if we can get the USB port to respond (if the port it completely dead it will not):

  1. check the port, if it is loose, push firmly in place

  2. clean, use a lint cloth and gently wipe the contacts on the inside

  Note: If the unit is out of warranty, I recommend you to contact the helpline.  Often updates are offered at discounted rates for a guaranteed customers value.  If you choose to upgrade, be sure to ask about care packs.  These may also be available at a discount for the purchase of upgrade.

  BLUF: I can connect only to HTTPS Web sites, http gives me 'unable to connect to the server' or "no route to host" errors.

  While I was out of town, the woman finished downloading something on his MBP that cause a lot of pop-up ads any time during the use of the internet.  I ran Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and it found and removed a bunch of infected files.  All this while the computer was on OS X 10.9.x. Since that time, on any browser (firefox, safari, chrome) we can only connect to the https pages.  For example, http://www.google.com = no go "impossible to connect to the server...". ", while https://www.googlec.com = good, but unfortunately most of the links is http, so it is useless.

  I spent most of the last days 2 pouring on the forums, and troubleshooting to resolve this question... what I did:

  Reset my router (without success, all the remains connected to it is good (everything else is also Android/windows))

  Reset my modem (even had my ISP reset everything they could on their end too)

  Back to zero/reinstalled all browsers,

  erased the PRAM using the option + command + p + r at startup.

  verified that no Proxy box is checked in the advanced network settings

  tried to change the DNS, manual, auto, opendns, 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4, using my ISP DNS googles, nothing changes.

  uninstalled all that was installed last week (not a lot, but now I don't know what it was).

  disabled the browser all extensions/plug-ins.

  IPv6 disabled/re-enabled (set to auto),

  What works:

  Safe mode, internet is full to the top.

  While in safe mode, I was able to connect to the app store (could not in a regular connection or guest user) and upgrade to OS X 10.11.5, but even the installation that does not solve all missing / corrupted files, I always have the same question.

  I thought for sure the new OS would have fixed it, but now I'm really stumped.

  Is there a way to reset completely all network settings? Could get blocked port 80 (http)? How can I tell?

  First, never use any type of software "anti-virus" or "anti-malware" on a Mac. That's how cause you problems, not how you solve them.

  1. the present proceedings is a diagnostic test. It doesn't change anything for the better or worse and therefore, by itself, will not solve the problem. But with the help of the results of the tests, the solution may take a few minutes, instead of hours or days.

  The test works on OS X 10.8 ("Mountain Lion") and later versions. I do not recommend running it on older versions of Mac OS X. It will do no harm, but it will not do not much good.

  Do not be put off by the complexity of these instructions. The procedure is easy to do right, but it is also easy to do wrong, so I had very detailed instructions. You make the tasks more complicated with the computer all the time.

  2. If you do not already have a current backup, please back up all the data before doing anything else. The backup is needed on the general principle, not because of what anyone in the test procedure. Backup is always a must, and when you encounter any kind of problems with the computer, you can be more than the usual loss of data, if you follow these instructions or risk not.

  There are ways to back up a computer that is not fully functional. Ask if you need advice.

  3 here is instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. As I wrote above, it doesn't change anything. It does not send or receive data over the network. There is no to generate a report on the State of the computer human readable. This report goes nowhere unless you choose to share it. If you prefer, you can act on it yourself without disclosing the contents for me or someone else.

  6. If you have more than one user and a user is affected by the problem, and the user is not an administrator, and then run the test twice: once under the affected user and one administrator. The results can be different. The user that is created automatically on a new computer, when you start it for the first time is an administrator. If you make three unsuccessful attempts to enter the password, the test is still running, but it will produce less information. If you do not know the password, or if you prefer not to enter, just press back three times at the password prompt. Yet once again, the script will run.

  If the test takes much longer that usual to run because the computer is very slow, you can be prompted for your password a second time. The permission you grant by entering it will expire automatically after five minutes.

  If you are not logged as an administrator, you will be prompted for a password. The test will run. It just will not do anything that requires administrator privileges.

  10. the test may take a few minutes to run, depending on the number of files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that is abnormally slow may take more time to run the test. During execution, a series of lines is displayed in the Terminal window like this:

      Test started

          Part 1 of 4 done at: … sec        …        Part 4 of 4 done at: … sec

      The test results are on the Clipboard.

      Please close this window.

  The intervals between the parties will not be exactly the same, but they give an approximate indication of progress.

  Wait for the final message "Please close this window" appear - again, usually within a few minutes. If you don't see this message in about 30 minutes, the test probably won't be completed within a reasonable time. In this case, press the Ctrl + C key combination or the point command to stop it. Then go to the next step. You will have incomplete results, but still something.

  In order to get results, the test should be allowed to perform or be stopped manually as shown above. If you close the window of the Terminal, while the test is still running, the partial results will not be saved.

  11. when the test is completed, or if you manually stopped, leaving the Terminal. The results have been saved to the Clipboard automatically. They do not appear in the Terminal window. Please do not copy from there. All you have to do is start a response to this comment and then paste it again by pressing Command-V.

  At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with the words «Start time.» If you do not see that, but rather to see a mass of gibberish, you wait for the message "close this window". Please wait and try again.

  If personal information, such as your name or e-mail address, appear in the results, make anonymous before posting. Usually it will be not necessary.

  Firewalls are designed to protect your internal information access by outside sources. Unfortunately, for many devices, this back and forth, limit what you can see outside because of the potential security risks. To access the devices that exist outside your firewall, you need to add a special exception directly to your firewall. Usually, this is done during the installation process, but can be done after the fact.   I am having trouble doing something that seems very basic. I can't set up my microphone to record in the hearing. I am a total newbie to any form of sound recording and don't know anything about. I'm going to be as specific as possible to help someone help me.

  I recently bought a microphone condenser Neewer NW-700. I have it running in a mixer Behringer Xenyx 802 via XLR to 2.5 mm (with a 3.5 mm adapter). Mixer does not have a USB connection so I ran it on my computer (Macbook Pro running OS X El Capitan 10.11.3 at the end of 2011) through a Behringer U-Control UCA222 USB Audio Adapter RCA.

  I went into Preferences > hardware Audio selected USB Audio CODEC for my default entry and exit and did the same thing in the settings of the sound of my Mac.

  When I went to Audition for record, the wave was flat and I could not hear everything that comes out of the speakers. I went to the Audio devices page on my Audio Setup and lunch where I was able to adjust the volume of Audio Out but not Audio In.

  This is as far as I'm away. I've been Google searching for about a week now and nothing has worked. I'm not sure it's a computer problem, a hardware problem or a hearing problem -as I said, I don't know anything about this kind of stuff.

  I just googled your microphone and ryclark is spot on.   The XLR Plug to 3.5 mm cable included with microphone is completely useless - there are several videos that appeared on my taling research on this subject.

  You need an XLR - f for XLR - M cable to connect on your mixer, turn on the Phantom, follow-up instructions that I proposed above.

  I also write a letter to Neewer asking a discount because they provide a cable can possibly use.
