OfficeJet 6700 Premium: scan of the computer is that is no longer enabled network connection has been lost

"scan of the computer is no longer active network connection has been lost" appears every 10 minutes or so on my "[redacted] Compaq 8200 Elite Minitour Convertible" is connected to "6700 Premium e-All-in-one Officejet - [redacted] H711n.

I have already run the 'Locator solutions and update".  He finds nothing.

I don't know what else to do.

Please provide the following information if anyone can help including:

The printer model - done

Complete and detailed problem description-

Operating system on the computer (including service pack revision) - done

Connection method - Direct wireless, wireless, wired LAN, USB? -

Brand and model of router and modem? -

Error messages - on the screen of the printer or computer, no matter what flashing light patterns?

    Not "no matter where I am," means, it happens with all networks?

    If so:

    Try:

    -Reset the device iOS. Nothing will be lost

    Device iOS Reset: Hold down the On / Off button and the Home button at the same time for to

    ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    -Reset all settings

    Go to settings > general > Reset and tap reset all settings.

    All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as your contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) are not affected.

    -Restore from backup. See:

    -Restore factory settings/new iOS device.

    If still problem, make an appointment at an Apple store Genius Bar because it appears that you have a hardware problem.

    When I run a scan of my printer to the computer, I get an error message that says that there is no connection, or that the application of scanning the computer is currently in use.

    I can Scanner normally when you use the HP Scan SW initiated from my computer. I can Scanner normally the printer to a memory device to the printer.

    The HP Print & Scan Doctor SW says that everything is OK and day.

    Any ideas?

    YUO must ensure that you have the FULL features software installed first and then turn on computer scanning.

    If you have not installed the software FULL of features, the following resources will help you:

    How to scan to computer

    Once you have installed the software:

    1. click the printer (on your desktop) and it will bring up the HP printer Assistant.
    2. in the menu analyze, there is a 'manage Scan to Computer', click on that.
    3 make sure you have "Enable" Scan of the computer. Also, make sure that the tab "automatically start Scan of the computer when I connect Windows" is checked if you want to perpetuate this feature. (the following video will show you how)

    If it does not, we suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the software features FULL.

  • "Network connectivity has been lost.  What the devil?

    I've been themselves disconnected from all Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro meetings that I hosted for the past 10 days.  My clients can't hear me for 30 seconds.  It's never happened before in 5 years, with the help of Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro.  Is there a known problem?  During the last few days my Internet provider has me has given a new modem and introduced new wiring in the building / my office and the same problem still exists.  It makes no difference if I am plugged directly into my i - Mac or Macbook laptop, or if I use wireless.  Any thoughts?

    If you connect from another place, you encounter the same problem? If so, it may be a connection problem. If this isn't the case, then it probably has something to do with your Internet provider or IT policies.

  • Safari displays "the network connection has been lost" for all files flv on the internet.  Firefox reads all

    I've upgraded to the latest version of Flash to correct what I thought was a problem in Firefox.  This problem turned out to be something else but now Safari will not play ANY flash content.  I uninstalled and reinstalled several times.  I even installed an earlier version.  All the these have exactly the same result.  Flash works in Firefox, but not in Safari.  I cleared the cache.  I entered the settings of flash securty and remove all the content.  Nothing seems to change this.  Anyone have any ideas?

    Never mind.  Stupid stupid stupid.  There was a firewall rule blocks flash.  I don't know why it worked in Firefox but when I unchecked, fixed it.

    I read on the fax number you are having and I personally would say the troubleshooting guide below for you. The guide check all connections fax, settings, etc..

    Can't send or receive faxes

    Also, check and update the firmware if necessary: having the latest Firmware and product updates

  • Win 7 x 64-OfficeJet 7500 a - Scan of the computer disappeared from the HP utility

    I noticed recently that the Scan of the computer, as well as the other options are passed from the HP utility screen.  The screen was black with options of 10 or more.  Now it's gray with only 4 options.  I uninstalled, reinstalled and restarted my computer and it won't.

    I have two 7500 s in office and both do the same thing on several machines Win 7 64.  It used to work perfectly.

    Anyone know what's happened and how to recover all the features?

  • I have can´t scan in Officejet 6700. Printing from the computer works perfectly.

    I think I know where banhien is trying to guide you. I'll explain his instructions in more detail below.

    1. make sure you are on the desktop view.
    2. double-click on the icon on your desktop that resembles your printer.
    3. under the section titled scan, you should see "Manage Scan to Computer".
    4. click on "Manage the Scan to Computer" and a window that's going to Enable.
    5. click on activate to activate computer scanning.

    If the icon is not on the desktop, or does not work, you may uninstall and reinstall the printer. If you need to do this, be sure to use the latest version of the software following the link. Hope this helps to clear things up a bit.

  • OfficeJet 6700 Premium scan to PDF

    Recently noticed that the characteristics and the scanning process have changed in my Officject 6700 Premium. The only way I can access scan now is by going to devices and printers in the Control Panel, right click on the printer icon and select Start Analysis. Not a problem for scan unless I want to scan a document in PDF format, which one is not an option for that anywhere. In the new scan dialog, if I select Documents in the profile, my only File Type options are image - jpg, png, bmp and tif files. There seems to be whatever for a PDF, or he is hiding it well.

  • HP OfficeJet 8600 Premium: Scanning to the desktop

    Hello

    I use the HP OfficeJEt 8600 Premium and I would add three computers to the scan function, so when I scan a document, I can choose the computer I would like to than the scan-to-file.

    I would like to know how to configure the folder so that it scans a folder on the desktop, titled 'Scans' against the 'Document' default folder.

    Today, I spent a few hours playing with it, following the instructions on the forum and further research on google. I could program to scan to computer 1.

    I then changed the name of the computer, somewhere in the HP Scan Utility preferences... then on the touch screen of the printer performs, under scan > not scan to computer, NO computer has appeared.

    I would like if anyone can break it down for me. How can I program it to allow all 3 computers connected wirelessly, to receive scans to their individual workstations. ALL 3 are Mac.

    SECOND-

    I want to program this tray 1 can be white paper and tray 2, letterhead. Have not spent time on it yet, but would love if anyone knows.

    I can certainly help you to scan to your computer and edit your destination folder. I understand that you do not want you can scan all 3 of your computers when you scan from the front panel of the printer.     What about using it the 2nd test paper for paper replacement types, please take a look on the following document, I suspect it will answer questions you might have: HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-all-in-one printer series (N911) - setting up the printer to print and copy of tray 1 and tray 2.

    My printer has worked well, always print well, copies fine, but for the last three days, when I click on 'apps' because I want to scan to email it only comes up with "the printer could not connect to the server, see internet connectin and try again. Connection Internet is fine.

    This is a question and a suggestion...

    I would like to be able to precede or add if it works, the command line in the output file that creates the order.

    Example:

    I run dcdiag with switches, etc. and create an output file of results that gets saved or sent to a person or just put it in a folder. Of course, it could be that someone else ran the command and then sent the file. Anyway the problem is the same - what was the exact command line that has been executed to achieve these results?

    Question:

    Is there a known way to do from the command line that I can apply to any command?

    Suggestion:

    If this isn't the case, then I would suggest MS to include this function in all the BACK and PowerShell commands able to produce text output.

    If all goes well they monitor this forum and find it's a great idea and send me a check (pinky in my cheek) a meeellion of dollars. Then I and I alone will rule the world.

    This morning, I scanned a document on the Windows 7 system, but tonight the icon ("HP Officejet Pro 8600") does not show the scan option. I am stunned. I need to scan more than a few documents and cannot find out how to access this feature. Help, please!

    I see you have a 8600 Officejet which seems to no longer provide the analysis option. I will certainly do my best so that he could share with you scanning capabilities

    It's really weird that you get is no longer the option scan so I suggest that you run the HP print and Scan Doctor and see if it finds problems first. If she says that everything out very well we should be able to get an icon on your desktop HP Scan so that you can just open it directly.

    To do this, click the start menu, click programs principally made, click the HP folder, click on the HP Officejet Pro 8600 folder and then right click on the HP Scan, select send to and Desktop. Then, you will see an icon on your desktop that says HP Scan and you don't have to go through the HP printer Assistant longer.
