    Thanks for your hellp...

On the assumption that the OfficeJet 7210 is a member of the printers OfficeJet 7200 series (I don't know for sure - I don't have much knowledge of ink jet printers):

My Professional 10 64-bit Windows system has a driver for the OffiiceJet 7200 series printers:

You may need to click the Windows Update button in the Add Printer dialog, then wait (possibly several minutes) while additional drivers are downloaded, until the list is filled again.

Of course, I have no idea if this driver is not working properly, or if it will offer all the features that you can.

  • OfficeJet 7210 printing preferences does not work with the driver for Windows 8

I have successfully installed the driver of Windows 8 (64 bit) full of features.  Printer copy, scan, fax and print from the computer.  However, I'm no longer able to print in grayscale, select a print quality (fast draft, project, etc.) and choose the paper type on the printer menu shortcuts in the printing preferences.

In the box "what do I want?" and choose fast/economical printing, the selections above will appear in the list of options, but when you go to select an option in the drop-down lists that can empty al.

You probably work with a more basic driver in Windows 8, and this is why you are not able to use these features. I would check to see if there is another driver that will allow you to use the. Here's a message written by a colleague who deals with how you can do this:

    Hi LChristofaro,

I have studied your error message and the Msiexec.exe error and this is a problem with windows install. I would recommend restarting your windows installer.

    To do this:

    1. run "Services.msc" (without the quotes).

    2. double-click on "Windows Installer" in the Services list.

    3. click on stop, and then click OK.

    4. Click Start, and then click OK.

You restart the computer and try the installation again.

Let me know if this helped.

  • HP officejet 8600 wireless printing error

My HP officejet 8600 wireless 1 page prints at once.  Anything larger than a page and I got an error message.  Recently upgraded from WINDOWS 8 to 8.1 - no improvement.  Very frustrating! It would really appreciate advice...

    Hello dabadia,

I'm sorry to hear that your 8600 Officejet will print a single page at a time after your upgrade to 8.1 Win. I would like to help you and give you my best advice.

I recommend running HP Print and doctor to analyze first to find and fix common printing problems.

If this does not resolve the problem, I recommend then Uninstall the printer, restart your computer and reinstall the software using the Printer Wizard install for Windows.

Good luck, I hope this works for you!

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600-general printer error

A sign on the printer came up to say that I had to fill two of the printer color cartridges.  I did, and then a message pops up saying that he had a problem with "ink system.  This was followed by a message that says General Printer Error "."

I was advised to put off the printer, then unplug it, without success.

I took the ink cartridges and repositioned them and put them back again without success.

I contacted HP support, put my serial number and was informed that my warranty was expired.

    What do you suggest me?

    Hello Busyasabee,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I understand after having to change the cartridges on your HP Officejet Pro 8600, you now get a general print error "ink system.  I see that you have completed the troubleshooting steps base without success.

I have a recommendation which is mine only and not that of HP, because your HP JO 8600 has a removable print head, you can try to rinse the print head. I had other members of the community to use this method and have been able to print correctly after.

Now, the video, I send, suggest to buy their cleaning kit. This is not necessary, you can use water and SOAP. If you don't feel comfortable withdrawal and rinsing of the print head is ok, but it's the only other suggestion I have that the printer is out of warranty and troubleshooting of all has been done.

    Hello joefredt.

Thanks for the information. I want you to add a printer Deskjet 990c. Please open "devices and printers". Once that opens click on add a printer in the dialog box. Now click on "add a local printer. When it says "use an existing port", the drop-down box and search for the USB0001. Select it and click "next".  Please click the button of "Windows Update". Original title: error printer print 0 x 00000709

    Hi PattiVan,

It seems that you can not set HP Officejet 4620 as default printer, you get the error message: 0 x 00000709.

What is a local printer or network printer?

We will try the following methods and check if they helps us to solve the problem.

Method 1: Try to change the default printer value in the registry key and check if it helps.

Registry WARNING: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, see this link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Back-up-the-registry

    (a) click Start.

    (b) type regedit in start search and press enter.
    (c) access the site mentioned below.

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
    (d) in the right column, you will find key device, change the value of your printer name.
    (e) it is for example in the format: "HP LaserJet 4250 PCL6, winspool, Ne03:

    (f) right click on the value and click Rename, replace with the name of your printer.

Method 2: Try the steps from the link.
    Printer in Windows problems
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/help/printer-problems-in-Windows

Method 3: Let's connect on another user account and check if you can configure the printer as the default printer.

If it works in a different user account, then the user account is damaged.

Refer to this link and create a new user account, copy files to the new user profile

  • HP Officejet 4630 series: printing error

    Hello

My printer was fine until 'Windows10 update 1607' has been downloaded on my desk a few days ago. Now every time I try to print anything for my computer. Status reports "error-printing".  I ran the trouble shooter print a test page, I printed a report of diagnosis of HP print and Scan doctor. Everything seems fine, but it always brings a printing error. So now I'm re-printing a document, it now says "printing" on the device, but it feels very, very slow, 10 minutes and it's still printing the first page. What can I do to fix this?

Your help in this matter is much appreciated!

Welcome to the community @BeeAnn HP

I saw your post on the slow printing problem and wanted to do some of my own suggestions.

    You can try the following:

1 reset the printer, then restart the computer. Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet.

    Turn on the printer.

With the printer, unplug the power cord at the back of the unit.

Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

    Wait at least 15 seconds.

Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.

Reconnect the power cord to the back of the unit.

If the printer does not by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.

2 run printing scanning and Dr.

3 try to make copies to see if they are too slow. If they are, then it's showing us that there is a problem with the hardware with the printer.

    4. Uninstall and reinstall the printer driver and software.

Let me know how make you out!

Hit the "accept as Solution" if we reached a solution and the "thumbs up" to say thank you for my help.
