OfficeJet 7310 all-in-One: activate the Web Services and printing of Tablet

I can't find a way to enable Web Services on my 7310 all-in-One.  It is connected by wire to my internet router, and I use the built-in print server.  ePrint online information, says this printer is supported.  When I go into the ePrintCenter registration page, or when I go into the app on my Android tablet, it won't give me an option to manually enter the printer and can't find the printer on my home network.  All this suggests that I should update the firmware of the print server, but I can't find a way to do it.  Any help would be welcome.

Ok. I found my own solution, but the documentation is really bad.

The answer is: If you select document, it gives you the choice of the printer on the wireless network, even when not compatible eprint. But who knows? I would have thought to implement a printer first.

    Hello

If the same behavior appears in copying autonomous

Even though the USB cable is disconnected, so the computer is without impact on the device and not related to the problem

By the information provided, the problem is with your printer hardware

However, make sure that your cartridges are without impact on your printer

Make sure the expirations of ink did not both for black and color, as well, try to isolate the problem and check if cartridges it may as follows

Remove the color cartridge and try to print from the computer

Now repeat the same thing with black ink only

If the problem occurs with a specific cartridge only, replace the cartridge.

If the same behavior is displayed for either of these tests, I suggest you try a different power outlet. If there is no change yet, contact the HP call center in your area, in an attempt to reset your device.

  • HP Officejet 7310 all-in-one: on the printed page without is not the margin settings and are shredded

During a few days ago only, printer started the show message paper jam when the printed page was all but probably 1/8 "already out.  Flicking the paper really brought the page on the rest of the way.

I remove the paper two-sided accessory to find any paper, but there is no paper jam that I can see.

Also, in the middle of printing, sometimes it makes a loud squeaking (I guess), but kept in printing and sends the page completely.

Then I started to notice that the left margin could tilt inward I look towards the bottom of the page or it can be different from one Word page to another and a blur occurs in a word here and there.

Finally, on the printing of Excel pages, I see a different left margin on what I consider every 2 lines.  This, of course, affect the right margin in the same Manor, and the vertical cell lines also vary according to the variation in the left margin.

The HP software tells me there is no update for me to download.  However, I do know she never talked about everything.  I have not seen this specific problem listed.

@Sunny-Gal Hello and welcome to the Forums of HP, I hope you enjoy your experience!

I see that you are experiencing printing problems. I would like to help!

I suggest to remove the cartridges and perform a power reset.  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

I recommend also to download and run the HP print and Scan doctor.

Good luck and please let me know the results of your troubleshooting operations. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

  • OfficeJet 7310 all-in-One: the device is not complete - Officejet 7310

Initially, a 10 on my network windows desktop could no longer communicate with my Officejet 7310 all-in-one ethernet connection.  The Office recognizes the 7310 as a printer, but not as an all-in-one.  I tried to reinstall the software using the prescribed protocols, without success. I decided to ignore the problem.  The Office could still use the 7310 as a printer, but not as an all-in-one. In addition, my two laptops could always use the all-in-one features.

Today, no reason apparent, the all-in-one feature has stopped working on my windows of 10 laptops.  When I tried to scan a document, I received a message that says: "device to complete installation. Attach the usb cable or reinstall the software. "I am more able to reinstall the all-in-one software.  Just like with my office, my laptop can use the all-in-one printing function, but cannot use the functions of HP Solutions Center.

I used the protocols recommended - uninstall the 7310, running windows disk cleanup, run ccleaner registery cleaner, closing all devices on the network except the 7310 and a laptop.  Nothing works, despite several attempts on various computers.  Is no longer, I can install the software of HP Solutions Center on any of my windows 10, 64-bit, PCs - wired or wireless.  The 7310 is essentially a 'brick', because it no longer works as an all-in-one.

What can I do to fix this? Help.

    Hey @fatz2fly,

I don't think that you have missed something, but I recommend you uninstall a more holistic approach at this stage. I know that this appears at first sight very complicated, but I burst in instructions step by step to make it easy to follow

    1. Hold down the Windows Logo key on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run, type % temp %

      • Delete all files and folders in the temp folder. Choose Skip if all pop ups seem to say all files cannot be deleted
    2. Delete the printer devices and printers and the driver from the properties of the server. See the instructions below before proceeding to step 3.
    3. Download the software and choose Save as, save to desktop >AIO_CDB_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_141.exe
      • After downloading software and extracts, reopen the temp folder, use the instructions in step 1.
      • Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)
      • Open the Util folder
      • The CCC folder
      • If you have a computer HP run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have acomputer no HP run the L4uninstall.exe
    4. Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the computer
    5. Download and run CCleaner - How to use CCleaner.

Installing software on the computer with a registry key, its place would be like trying to paint a wall with a hole in it, you need to patch the hole first. Repair the registry, and then install the software. Registry cleaners can be useful tools to solve certain types of problems in the registry, as those that are created when a program does not properly uninstall or a malware infection is not cleaned properly.

This suggestion is not a document of HP, it is my own opinion. My preference is CCleaner, I use it on my computers. If you have a registry cleaner already, or that you prefer, you can use it.

  • Follow these steps to reset the registry settings and options for Windows Installer.
    • Hold down the key of the Windows Logo on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run
    • In the Open box, type msiexec /Unregister, and then click OK.
    • Hold down the key of the Windows Logo on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run
    • In the Open box, type msiexec/regserver, and then click OK
  • * Note: there is a space between the c and the /.

If you do not at this stage, use this link to perform another way. Restart Windows install

    1. Run the system Accessories\ tool disk cleanup <> How to delete files using disk cleanup
    2. Download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
    3. Restart the computer
    4. Download and run the HP printer install wizard for Windows
    5. The HP printer for window installation wizard was created to help Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 users download and install the most recent and most appropriate HP software solution for their HP printer.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance. Thank you!

  • OfficeJet 6500 a Plus: impossible to activate the Web services; roadblocks at all stages

This printer is connected to my network by Ethernet. I want to activate Web services, so I can use ePrint.

When I try to enable Web services from the printer control panel, I said that I might need to enter a proxy address. I'm not running a proxy server, but it is not possible around this prompt.

There are posts on this Board indicating that Web services can be activated with a Wi - Fi connection. I unplugged the Ethernet cable and wireless enabled, but I was always invited address proxy information when I tried to activate the Web services. I disabled wireless and returned to Ethernet.

A response to another post suggested updating the firmware to bypass the proxy server error. HP recommendation is to do it from the control panel of the printer. In the Panel menu control, firmware upgrade is the title of the Web services, which I can't because of the mistake of the proxy. So I downloaded the firmware and tried to install the update from my computer. The update found my printer on the network, but it is gray, saying 'Not applicable', under the State. I couldn't select it.

In another post, someone suggested THAT DNS has been configured. I saw, through Server Web shipped by the printer, there is no configured DNS server (the printer is configured for manual IPv4). So via the integrated Web server, I tried to enter addresses (my domain controller, OpenDNS, Google) DNS server. With each of them, the SAP replied: "an error has occurred. (ipv4Page-400). Click 'OK' to go back. "There is no place to enter the DNS settings on the printer control panel.

Web services require a Wi - Fi connection?

Why the printer think there need a proxy address?

The firmware update will solve the proxy error?

I have to update the firmware, if the update statement indicates does not apply?

What is another method for updating the firmware out of the control panel or from my computer?

How to enter the DNS of the EWS information without getting an error?

    Jeffrey Pike

    Groton public library

    Charles:

Thank you for taking the time to provide a complete response to my questions.

I finally got the Web services enabled on the printer. What I had to do was enter the DNS settings in SAP to bypass the prompt for proxy information. Step I missed yesterday, when I got page not found error in the SAP, was that I had to do the secure version of the SAP ("https", not "http"), and then the EWS would accept my DNS entries. Once this is done, I went to the printer and could enable Web services without having to provide proxy information.

The printer is now registered to hpconnect.com, and I can start letting my library to print patterns on my wireless network, that was my goal all along.

    Thanks again for your help.

  • OfficeJet 7310 all-in-one

No longer, print error message: has not "Filter" Stopped -

    Hey @KMAN1,

Welcome to the Forum from HP Support.  I understand that you are unable to print from Mac using your HP Officejet 7310 all-in-One Printer.  I want to help you with this.  I have some suggestions that can restore your power of print.

Before you approached the problem from a software point of view, I recommend that to perform a "hard reset":

    1. press the Power button to turn off the printer.
    2. unplug the power cord at the back of the printer.
    3. wait 60 seconds.
4 reconnect the power cord to the back of the printer.
    5. press the power button to turn on the printer.

Then, if the problem persists, I recommend that you reset the printing system on your Mac.  Here's how:

    * Note: This process deletes all printers in your printer list, deletes information about all completed print jobs, and deletes all printer presets.

    1. Choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click Printers & Scanners.

    2. Hold down the CTRL key when you click in the list at left, then choose "Reset printing system" from the menu that appears.  After resetting the printing system, the list of printers in the Printers & Scanners preferences is empty.

    Source

Then, with resetting your printing system, you will need to install a printer Mac driver by using the method of updating of the Apple software or in other words, reinstall your printer.  Click here to get instructions from HP.

Please let me know the result of your troubleshooting by responding to this post.  If you have any other questions I'm always happy to help you.  If my suggestions happen to have solved your problem, follow the instructions below my grip to give me a virtual h.o.t..

Thanks again for posting in the Forum from HP Support.  Have a great day!

  • HP support cannot get officejet 7310 all-in-one to print even though looks and sounds like it is.

Printer, HP officejet 7310 all-in-one had not been used in 3 weeks.  Cartridge black ink but nevermind. New in color cartridge.  Print test works very well.   Do you have the drilling cleaning cartridge.  Downloaded diagnostic printing and scanning tool.  He ran.    Yes, it prints, but only a couple of lines are visible, but barely, ghostly, and then nada.  The color cartridge is not used.  This on a PC with windows XP.  So far, the printer worked great.  The same results if using Notepad or an Internet site.  Suggestions anyone?

The obvious suggestion is to replace the black cartridge.  If you need print now, you can use reserve mode or select photo paper (which will use only the color cartridge).

The printer will automatically not using the color cartridge when the black cartridge is out of ink.  If you want to use the color cartridge to print in black, you can remove the black cartridge.  The printer will then give an error on the screen but is printed in reserve mode using only the color cartridge.  Copies cannot be predicted with the printer by way of reservation, you will need to replace the black cartridge.
