Hi sdtechguy,

There is no full feature software and drivers available for the beta to win 8 consumer Preview. The only option you have is to use the NUMBERS drivers provided by Microsoft. If you use the wireless printer, you will not be able to scan using these drivers of AMENDMENTS. If you install the printer through the USB port, you may be able to analyze the use of the pilot of AMENDMENTS. I hope that answered your questions on the subject with a sweep in WIn 8 consumer beta Preview.

  • OfficeJet 4215 and Windows 7 - scanning

    I bought a new Windows 7 computer.

    I connected my Officejet 4215 all-in-one.

The functions of printer perfectly under Windows 7 came with all the drivers etc so that it works normally.

BUT it won't scan anything. All images HP management software and icons are missing.

When I press the scan button it says "you must install or run device...". »

I try to do an installation of my original disc and it says that the device is already installed.

I can't find anything in these forums to help me then... what should I do?

Your printer is older and not fully supported on Windows 7.  Here are workarounds.

  • Printing with HP Officejet 6100 and Windows 8.1

I had no problem with the printer before installing Windows 8.1.  We installed the latest printer drivers from the HP website.  The printer wants to print to the back to the front, even though we clearly specified it to print from front to back.  It is typical for every program I use, but more troublesome for Sage 100 contractor, where I print paychecks and A / P checks.  We tried to uninstall drivers and reinstall them.  I even tried to "back to front" because it seemed he wanted to do the opposite.  He printed back to front.  Dial-up, rebooted and it continues to print at the back to the front.  I contacted HP Support and they don't have a clue as to why this is happening.  Help, please!

    Hello

When you have reinstalled the printer did you use assistant printer?

    Try the following:

    Press enter
    Scroll down to print spooler
Right-click on the spooler > select Properties
Make sure that the Startup Type is set to automatic
    Under the service stop status
Wait for Windows to stop the printer

Control Panel > open the printer folder
Right click on the printer icon > select Open
Do you see the documents listed in the queue for printing?
Click file > cancel all Documents

Start > right click on computer > select Manage
Click on continue on window UAC (Vista, Windows 7)
    Select Device Manager

Click on the + sign next to Ieeee... compatible printer (Note: some models of printers require an IEEE 1284 parallel port, which allows the rapid two-way communication.)  Do not worry if it is not listed)
Right-click on the printer driver and select uninstall
Click on the + sign next to the imaging device (s)
Right-click on the printer driver and select uninstall
Click on the + sign next to printers
Right-click on the printer driver and select uninstall
Click on the + sign next to Bus USB controllers
Right-click on the printer driver and select uninstall

While the printer is turned on, unplug the cable from the rear
Unplug the cable from the wall outlet

    Wait 5 minutes

Plug the cable into the wall jack, and then the back of the printer
    Restart the computer

Go back, and then restart the print spooler

    Try printing again

Go to the manufacturer's website and search for updated drivers

  • OfficeJet K8600 and Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

My Officejet k8600 printer refuses to print full size 11 x 17 drawings.  Instead of printing a full-size drawing 11 x 17, I get a 8.5 x 11 print.  This only happens with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.  This printer worked fine with Windows XP.  I really need the ability to print 11 x 17 drawings.  Help, please!

Never mind.  I fixed it myself.

I uninstalled hundreds of megabytes of useless HP driver software.

I restarted my computer with the printer usb cable unplugged.

When I reconnected the printer cable, Windows 7 loaded drivers from the Windows Update server.

    I can now print documents of size 11 x 17 prints as well as 8.5 x 11.

    I recently did a cleam install windows 8 32-bit.

I also downloaded the drivers and full software for my all in one.

Printing was not a problem, but when I tried to scan, I got this error message: "Een benodigd component kan niet worden niet goed geinstalleerd is found." "Installeer bij het expensive geleverde HP Photosmart software opnieuw in try nogmaals you scannen.

English translation: "a required component is not found or is not properly installed. "Install the HP Photosmart software and try to rescan.

I used scrubber to clean the PC, PC rebooted, used Ccleaner to clean up everything and cleaned PC manually from all records, "HP", Purifier used again and then restarted the PC. Software is installed again, no error during installation, but it doesn't scan, same error once again.

PS. using scandoctor gives the same error.

New system, pure install win8 then all initially installed the HP software, no problem everything works including the digitization.

I reinstall the old hope of system that works for.

  • Why can't get XP and Officejet 7310 HP Director HP solutions Center

I'm frustrated by the scanning multi-page documents in the HP Director (to 2003) and not being able to copy a file .jpg for each page in a word document (not available) to put them together.  Then I found that there is a new driver that offers drivers and software HP Photosmart full feature and

supposedly to support the OfficeJet 7310 and Windows XP.  Wow, full function!

So I download the 428 MB package and run it.  He turns to always then says that it is not necessary.  What do I need to uninstall first Director?

    Any suggestions are appreciated!  -Steve

OK, well, I uninstalled HP Director and then installed the package of 428 MB 'new' 2009.   Then looked in the menu, and everything I had was Director HP - rat!  He said that it is Copyright 2003, Version 45.4.157.000

However, he must have done something good since I can now put a searchable scan in PDF, HTML or Txt Rich!  Hooray!

"Of course, it is perhaps that I had not enabled the option to save to a file that could offer those throughout.

    So, ah, never mind!  -Steve

  • HP OfficeJet 7310 won't let me install... says I need to be an administrator on Vista 64-bit

I have HP OfficeJet 7310 and I am installing for the first time.  I have Vista 64 bit and when I go to install it, I get an error that says... "Log then with a user with administrator privileges.

I do not understand, I am the administrator... I tried to turn off work... didn't thing ULC.  I tried to do a clean boot... didn't work. I am at a loss can someone help me please.  I use Kaspersky... but I don't think that is the question.

I am a real user of 7310 on Vista 64 bit and can vouch for the suggestion of driver download.  The software installation process is quite different from that performed from Windows XP (thank God) and goes a lot faster.  Certainly turn off your antivirus software during the process because it's intensive file.

Here's my big tip for you that you can save a lot of stress.  You will see that if you never put your system into standby mode, the stock in network drivers to print frequently and permanently disappear and you need to uninstall/reinstall.  Happened to me for weeks and finally I saw an announcement somewhere however it is resolved if you install also "critical update to enhance reliability of network and USB connectivity and improve system responsiveness while printing" in the same place.  His description, he said "corrects a problem that causes the network connected printer to disappear from the system.  For some inexplicable reason this month of April, update has not been deployed in September driver version.  I installed and have not had a problem since.

    Good luck!

  • Update the Firmware Officejet 7310?

Like my Officejet 7310 and recently took a used for children.

The network shows Configuration Page printing "Firmware revision: RL7001xNx" on the unit used while my original unit shows "Firmware revision: RL9002xNx '"»

Is there a way to update the Firmware of the unit used for the RL9002xNx version?

I'm not finding a way to update the Firmware via the Sites from HP Support...

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

My PC is always Windows XP SP3 but I added three laptop computers for the children and women who have Windows 7 and I had all the HP7310 installation problems or the center of HP solutions on their machines.  Make sure you get the Windows 7 "32 or 64 bit" depending on your system).

My initial concern about requiring the update of the Firmware has actually been resolved, I think.

Printer was running very slow and hesitant, I thought could have been due to Firmware.

Found on another blog the suggestion to clean the sensor 'media' (red laser on the side of the cartridge carriage).  It worked and I'm very happy with the results!
