Officejet 7310 updates
I got an update for my Officejet 7310, which tells me that:
"The support of origin (DC - ROM or location) that was used to install is required for this function. Make sure that the original installation media for-all-in-one HP series is available in
C:\Users\Ruhi19\AppData\Local\Temp\7zS4Ec3.tmp\ ".
I downloaded my driver on the site.
I use Vista
I use a Pavilion laptop
He stopped at step 4 of the setup of your product
I use a wireless network modem (not that I think it's important in this case)
I do not have a file: AppData but I think I've seen this elsewhere. Is this statement for XP instead of Vista? I should be somewhere else? Why isn't it find the file automatically?
How to complete this update?
The AppData folder is a hidden folder. It is enough to click on the Start Menu, and then under search for, type 'C:\Users\Ruhi19\AppData\' and press ENTER, and you can access it.
Also, I think that if you click on the button cancel on this msg about 3 times, the msg will disappear and the installation is complete.

Update the Firmware Officejet 7310?
Like my Officejet 7310 and recently took a used for children.
The network shows Configuration Page printing "Firmware revision: RL7001xNx" on the unit used while my original unit shows "Firmware revision: RL9002xNx '"»
Is there a way to update the Firmware of the unit used for the RL9002xNx version?
I'm not finding a way to update the Firmware via the Sites from HP Support...
Any suggestions?
Thank you!
My PC is always Windows XP SP3 but I added three laptop computers for the children and women who have Windows 7 and I had all the HP7310 installation problems or the center of HP solutions on their machines. Make sure you get the Windows 7 "32 or 64 bit" depending on your system).
My initial concern about requiring the update of the Firmware has actually been resolved, I think.
Printer was running very slow and hesitant, I thought could have been due to Firmware.
Found on another blog the suggestion to clean the sensor 'media' (red laser on the side of the cartridge carriage). It worked and I'm very happy with the results!

OfficeJet 7310: Reported Device Manager driver missing for printer Officejet 7310
I used the full setting install software downloaded from the HP site to set up a printer Officejet 7310 on a Lenovo laptop, T540p with OS 64 - bit Windows 8.1. Installation and printer seem to work fine since I can print and I can also scan from the HP Solution Center utility. However, Device Manager reports two errors/anomalies as follows.
Under the heading 'Multifunction cards' the Officejet 7300 series properties shows the status of the device such as:
This device is disabled. (Code 22)
Click Enable device to enable this device. To the title of the theOfficejet 7300 series entry 'Other devices' properties shows the status of the device as:
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
There is no compatible driver for this device.
To find a driver for this device, click Update driver.I find this a little confusing, because I believe that the installation of the software is supposed to include the pilot, as well as the printer seems to function (which could be due to default Microsoft drivers).
Any thoughts on how things are in this State and how to recover would be deeply appreciated as I prefer not to "ignore" error messages.
Thank you
Glenn
Well, I finally got a moment for all dismantle and reinstall according to the suggested procedure. The offending Device Manager entry disappears not directly as a result of using the tools Microsoft and CCleaner, but after these steps in the process, I was able to remove the entry from the device. I suspect that the registry was somehow blocked upward and demelee enough tools stuff for me to delete the entry.
The relocation went well, but unfortunately, I misread the part about the reference of USB and initially installed with a USB connection. I had to go back and add the network connection, which was not a problem. I wonder if I can remove the USB from the printer through devices and printers instance while keeping the Solutions Center HP happy on the network printer instance.
Thanks again for the detailed procedure.
Kind regards

No longer, print error message: has not "Filter" Stopped -
Hey @KMAN1,
Welcome to the Forum from HP Support. I understand that you are unable to print from Mac using your HP Officejet 7310 all-in-One Printer. I want to help you with this. I have some suggestions that can restore your power of print.
Before you approached the problem from a software point of view, I recommend that to perform a "hard reset":
1. press the Power button to turn off the printer.
2. unplug the power cord at the back of the printer.
3. wait 60 seconds.
4 reconnect the power cord to the back of the printer.
5. press the power button to turn on the printer. Then, if the problem persists, I recommend that you reset the printing system on your Mac. Here's how:
* Note: This process deletes all printers in your printer list, deletes information about all completed print jobs, and deletes all printer presets.
Choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click Printers & Scanners.
Hold down the CTRL key when you click in the list at left, then choose "Reset printing system" from the menu that appears. After resetting the printing system, the list of printers in the Printers & Scanners preferences is empty.
Then, with resetting your printing system, you will need to install a printer Mac driver by using the method of updating of the Apple software or in other words, reinstall your printer. Click here to get instructions from HP.
Please let me know the result of your troubleshooting by responding to this post. If you have any other questions I'm always happy to help you. If my suggestions happen to have solved your problem, follow the instructions below my grip to give me a virtual h.o.t..
Thanks again for posting in the Forum from HP Support. Have a great day!

I have HP OfficeJet 7310 and I am installing for the first time. I have Vista 64 bit and when I go to install it, I get an error that says... "Log then with a user with administrator privileges.
I do not understand, I am the administrator... I tried to turn off work... didn't thing ULC. I tried to do a clean boot... didn't work. I am at a loss can someone help me please. I use Kaspersky... but I don't think that is the question.
I am a real user of 7310 on Vista 64 bit and can vouch for the suggestion of driver download. The software installation process is quite different from that performed from Windows XP (thank God) and goes a lot faster. Certainly turn off your antivirus software during the process because it's intensive file.
Marilyn link aren't going to the right place. I got mine from http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=2100&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=391182
Here's my big tip for you that you can save a lot of stress. You will see that if you never put your system into standby mode, the stock in network drivers to print frequently and permanently disappear and you need to uninstall/reinstall. Happened to me for weeks and finally I saw an announcement somewhere however it is resolved if you install also "critical update to enhance reliability of network and USB connectivity and improve system responsiveness while printing" in the same place. His description, he said "corrects a problem that causes the network connected printer to disappear from the system. For some inexplicable reason this month of April, update has not been deployed in September driver version. I installed and have not had a problem since.
Good luck!

OfficeJet 7310 - Compatible 64-bit of Windows XP?
I just upgraded my PC to a workstation HP running Windows XP 64 - Bit Edition. It does not appear that my Officejet 7310 all-in-One does not work with it. Y at - it a solution?
HP said there is no driver, but you can use the Deskjet 990 driver for printing.
I suspect that you can also use the web server integrated for scanning if you connect to the printer via the LAN.

Hi Pattles,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I'm sorry to hear that your HP Officejet 7310 will analyse any more, but I'm happy to help you!
To get help, I'll have to know the following:
- If you use Windows or operating system Mac and the version number. To find the exact version, visit this link. Whatsmyos.
- If the printer is connected, USB, Ethernet, or wireless.
- If the printer is capable of making copies of itself.
- If the power cable is connected to a surge protector, or directly to a wall outlet. Questions when it is connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power. This is true for printers and ink jet.

OfficeJet 7310 all-in-One: the device is not complete - Officejet 7310
Initially, a 10 on my network windows desktop could no longer communicate with my Officejet 7310 all-in-one ethernet connection. The Office recognizes the 7310 as a printer, but not as an all-in-one. I tried to reinstall the software using the prescribed protocols, without success. I decided to ignore the problem. The Office could still use the 7310 as a printer, but not as an all-in-one. In addition, my two laptops could always use the all-in-one features.
Today, no reason apparent, the all-in-one feature has stopped working on my windows of 10 laptops. When I tried to scan a document, I received a message that says: "device to complete installation. Attach the usb cable or reinstall the software. "I am more able to reinstall the all-in-one software. Just like with my office, my laptop can use the all-in-one printing function, but cannot use the functions of HP Solutions Center.
I used the protocols recommended - uninstall the 7310, running windows disk cleanup, run ccleaner registery cleaner, closing all devices on the network except the 7310 and a laptop. Nothing works, despite several attempts on various computers. Is no longer, I can install the software of HP Solutions Center on any of my windows 10, 64-bit, PCs - wired or wireless. The 7310 is essentially a 'brick', because it no longer works as an all-in-one.
What can I do to fix this? Help.
Hey @fatz2fly,
I don't think that you have missed something, but I recommend you uninstall a more holistic approach at this stage. I know that this appears at first sight very complicated, but I burst in instructions step by step to make it easy to follow
- Hold down the Windows Logo key on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run, type % temp %
- Delete all files and folders in the temp folder. Choose Skip if all pop ups seem to say all files cannot be deleted
- Delete the printer devices and printers and the driver from the properties of the server. See the instructions below before proceeding to step 3.
- Download the software and choose Save as, save to desktop >AIO_CDB_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_141.exe
- After downloading software and extracts, reopen the temp folder, use the instructions in step 1.
- Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)
- Open the Util folder
- The CCC folder
- If you have a computer HP run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have acomputer no HP run the L4uninstall.exe
- Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the computer
- Download and run CCleaner - How to use CCleaner.
Installing software on the computer with a registry key, its place would be like trying to paint a wall with a hole in it, you need to patch the hole first. Repair the registry, and then install the software. Registry cleaners can be useful tools to solve certain types of problems in the registry, as those that are created when a program does not properly uninstall or a malware infection is not cleaned properly.
This suggestion is not a document of HP, it is my own opinion. My preference is CCleaner, I use it on my computers. If you have a registry cleaner already, or that you prefer, you can use it.
- Hold down the Windows Logo key on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run, type % temp %
- Follow these steps to reset the registry settings and options for Windows Installer.
- Hold down the key of the Windows Logo on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run
- In the Open box, type msiexec /Unregister, and then click OK.
- Hold down the key of the Windows Logo on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run
- In the Open box, type msiexec/regserver, and then click OK
- Run the system Accessories\ tool disk cleanup <> How to delete files using disk cleanup
- Download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
- Restart the computer
- Download and run the HP printer install wizard for Windows
- The HP printer for window installation wizard was created to help Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 users download and install the most recent and most appropriate HP software solution for their HP printer.
- Win XP - with no printer selected, click 'File' then 'server properties '.
- Windows Vista - with no printer selected, press 'Alt' and then click 'file' then 'server properties '.
- Windows 7/8, 8.1 and 10 - select any printer in the "Devices and printers" folder and click on "Print server properties" above.
- If him you continue to get an "in use" message followed the steps in the document here. The specified printer driver is currently in use

We will perform a hard reset. To do this, leave the printer and unplug the power cable for 1 minute. While it is unplugged, press and hold the power button on the printer for 10-15 seconds to release built his power, then after the minute, plug the printer in. Also, even if you have used a surge protector/power bar this whole time and you feel this isn't the cause, please plug it in to a wall outlet so that we can eliminate the source of energy as the primary cause. Hi sdtechguy,
There is no full feature software and drivers available for the beta to win 8 consumer Preview. The only option you have is to use the NUMBERS drivers provided by Microsoft. If you use the wireless printer, you will not be able to scan using these drivers of AMENDMENTS. If you install the printer through the USB port, you may be able to analyze the use of the pilot of AMENDMENTS. I hope that answered your questions on the subject with a sweep in WIn 8 consumer beta Preview.

Why is there ink in my Officejet 7310 ink cartridges?
After that the error message indicating that the transport was stuck on my Officejet 7310, a colleague moved to transport and discovered masses of black ink in the well under the ink cartridges. A lot of black ink * beep * has been dug with a Q-Tip, who solved the problem of paper jam carriage. Much ink remains in the cartridge. Where it comes from and how to safely clean? Is a normal buildup? How can't we accumulate more ink? Thank you for your suggestions.
Here a link to a document that shows how clean and maintain different areas and parts of the printer such as the capping station. He will be given instructions on how to go about cleaning the machine and what materials to use. It is advisable to use on the machine lint free rags.
Some excessive accumulation of time is normal because the ink can be "fall back" on the printing process. It is recommended that a cleaning is done every six months, if this is the first cleaning, there might be more to accumulate in the printer that could be expected. I hope this helps.
