  My new HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911a does not allow a webscan on my laptop Dell Win7, which indicates on its Web page ¨that that the corresponding software is not installed".  I already tried in vain to install all software from the included cd, but did not find the corresponding software.  I was surprised to see that this cd does not start by itself, the single executable that I found was a setupxxx.exe and that did not include the scanning options.

  Anyone has a suggestion to solve this?

  The Webscan must be selected in the tab of the administrator of the Embeded Web Server (EWS). See the screenshot below.

  1. Click settings
  2. Click the administrator settings
  3. Check Webscan
  4. Press on apply downstairs.

  No problem, I understand.

  I think that could happen is that the oval pin mechanism comes into contact with food has become defective over time. Its supposed to sink to bottom when feeding is complete (on inserting). Over time as the ink level runs the mechanism will expand gradually until you reach full extension on what an ink level alert is triggered. What might happen in your case, is that the mechanism is not entirely depressing even when the new full provision is inserted.   Exchanged a defective HP Officejet Pro 6835 at Costco. I kept the old cartridges and Costco pulled the new printer cartridges and kept them. During the installation of the printer does not recognize the used cartridges. Error message received to use cartridges supplied with the printer configuration. Did not have them. Is gone to town & bought new HP cartridges and install. The printer took over in the same place on the installer. It does not recognize the new cartridges. What can I do? I can't start the installation program. I remove the new cartridges and reinstall them using and get the same message again. She can't get to work, so I'll have to make another 90 mile round trip to Costco to replace this printer.  Any suggestions?

  You will need to install cartridges for initial configuration, Costco shouldn't have removed the cartridges setup.  You can contact HP, they could send replacement cartridges setup or they may suggest that you only contact Costco.

  You have all Audio devices in Device Manager? How Windows 10 has been installed on the Mac? The BC Assistant has been used?

  Uninstall the toolbar Ask and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask and Firefox toolbar that prevents the opening of new tabs.

  There are a few places to check for the Ask toolbar:

  It seems that, for some reason, the default theme has been disabled (?) for the installation of 4 FF, and everything looked weird and wise as I mentioned in the original post.
  On a side note, next to the default theme, once I activated, it reads "not compatible with FF4.

  The magnetic site says the requirements are for Windows XP or higher. However, it is not on the Windows Vista or the Windows 7 Compatibility Center.

  You can try the following to see if it will help with compatibility. If the program is not compatible, then you try to install and run the program in compatibility mode.
  Use the following steps:
  (1) right click on the program
  2) click Properties
  3) click on the Compatibility tab
  (4) select run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows Vista or other operating system, the program has been run successfully.
