Officejet H470 HP: H470 DOES NOT PRINT

My printer was working normally until I had a paper jam. I deleted this and then my printer would not print.  I tried all the dignostics and the problem persists. However, the printer will print me a diagnostic report, but not a page of test computer records or Word. This means that the original jam has been authorized and the problem is software partner. I would be grateful for all clues solve this problem.

I understand that you had already authorized a paper jam in your Officejet H470 and now the concern seems to be that you can't print from your computer at all. I looked through guides, troubleshooting and playback of the steps to try to help you with this and found the guide below. The steps are excellent, and I would suggest trying them all carefully. You should be upward and printing again later.

    Went to Windows 7 Forum #7 dated 01/08/09. We were told to remove the 32-bit IE8 version, when we initially installed Windows 7, but it is necessary to print from the web. Go to C: program file (x 86), Internet Explorer, then iexplore. I made a copy of the shortcut icon and installed on the desktop computer for I can use it when I want to interface with the web and be able to print from the web. Hallelujah!

  • HP Officejet 8620: 8620 HP does not print Office 365 in Win 8. Office pointed out a mistake on 8620 when he tries.

    HP tests work perfectly. A ran the printer HP convenience store and windows tool. No problem. Just do not Office files print (Excel and Word).  Excel returns an error message saying 8620 has an error. Word does not print anything.

    Text files, PDF files print correctly. Only been able to print Word documents by using Office to produce a PDF file and then using the 8620 to print the PDF file.

    I must say that, by far, we have had more problems with the HP software with Lexmark, Canon, Brother. If it isn't getting fixed we do have more than one option. We had several HP printers as well as other manufacturers, but HP has been by far the less reliable with the software which is a shame because the quality of printing is superior.

    Thank you greeturtle. It turns out that download drivers actually the cause of the problem. The driver for the 8620 will not work. However, the deskjet 9800 printer driver works. Go figure!

  • OfficeJet 6700 installs but does not print

    We have an Officejet 6700 on our wireless network. My computer can find and add the printer (using the latest drivers, I downloaded).  Once installed, it seems to print but nothing never goes out on the printer.

    It is most likely a network issue, but maybe anyone know the magic that I need.  The wireless is on a different subnet (192.168.40.X) wired computers (192.168.10.X, running Windows 7).  I checked all the settings of the firewall, and it is configured to allow traffic from 10.x to 40 x and vice versa.  To install the printer, I 'Add a local printer' and then create a new standard TCP/IP port and use wireless IP of the printer - the printer is certainly connected to the network and I used the information from the printer Panel to get the IP address.

    The installation process continues, with the driver that I just downloaded on the HP site, and voila, the printer appears in my printer/fax devices!  He asks you about printing a test page, I say Yes... and nothing ever happens.  Even with apps like Word or notepad, I select the 6700 and print and I get no error, but nothing is printed.

    Any ideas? Thank you.

    (Note: the firewall * is * configured to not allow wireless devices to see each other, so I can't try the printer on other computers connected to the sous-reseau.40.x.)

    I understand that you can test the printer communication seems applicable.  When you click the printer icon on your desktop, what do you see?  It does not open the HP printer Assistant or is it the configuration page to connect to the printer? You have even an icon?  If no icon, click on this link to install the 6700 (Windows 7 64-bit U.S.) Officejet full feature software and drivers .  I know you said you did already, but I wanted to give the link to the case where.

    This printer has a new firmware update to help with wireless facilities. Version: MPM3CN1316AR (link is for Windows 7 64-bit US).

    Disable all firewall (see gurus network on deactivation of all the antivirus software and firewall temporarily). Since you have the generic driver in your printers and devices folder, select all programs > HP > Officejet 6700 > installation printer, software and try to reinstall the network printer and let me know what is happening as well.  You get a successful installation and a registration page?

    I will gladly help you get the installed printer.  I will work with you as the network guys know well your installation.  Looks like the firewall blocks.  Here is a link on how Firewall interferes with network installation.  I hope this helps!

  • new e-all-in-one officejet pro 8600 black does not print

    I can't print in black with my new printer.

    HP says it's out of warranty. I bought it on Amazon of Bob Electronics and they had him as a monitor in use. Has not been used, but if the warrantly expired.

    I understand that you can't print with black ink cartridges. I would try to help with this problem.

    Chances are while the printer was sitting as a model of display used, the dried out print head. It's too bad that most print heads are not something you would find at your local big box store.

    On the front panel of your printer, press the arrow outside the screen. Select Configuration.

    Then tap Tools.  From there, locate the printhead cleaning option. Try this three times.

    I hope that this will work. If it isn't I would like to refer you to a post from Bob_Headrick.

    black ink does not.  I read the document completely, and then decide if it fits your situation.

    I replaced the cartridges, run the printhead cleaner, run the alignment, still will not print black.

    HI - have a look at this post.  Instructions solved the problem at least one other customer having a similar problem.

  • OfficeJet 4620 - empty ink does not print

    4620 Officejet all-in-one. Started having this last week-no problem printing black ink. New genuine cartridges in use (I tried 3 separate cartridges directly from the box). Tried all the solutions listed on the troubleshooting without success (or even three print head cleanings) page. The ink levels are tops. Same problems when copying of documents. Ink color work fine. Extremely frustrated! Printer off 2-month warranty. It's my printer HP fourth and the first that gives me that kind of question.  Anyone, anyone?  Help!

    Suppot of HP was not able to solve my problem, even if it is a well known problem with this model of printer. A replacement was offered at a discount. Weird that I can get the replacement even model 20% cheaper at Costco. Some discount! Frustrated and annoyed... Go with Epson this time. Loyal HP customer no more!

    Thanks for the response back.

    I would at this point uninstall all previously installed printer software. If you need assistance, here is a document that can help - uninstalling the software of the printer (Windows).

    Once the software is uninstalled, use the HP printer installation wizard to help install the software. This tool will search and find the version of the drivers and the printer software up-to-date.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8620:8620 does not print 2 back to back printing

    I have this printer a little over a year.  I have had IT connected wireless and has problems where the printer would show a message "not connected".  Then I hard wired the printer on my MAC and everything was great - worked well.

    Last week when I send 1 print job to the printer without problems.  If I send 2 different print jobs print one and then the 2nd shows "printer not responding do not.  If I break the 2nd print job and wait for say 10 minutes and start it again it prints.

    It's very frustrating because you cannot print more than 1 post at the same time.  Help!

  • HP Officejet 6700 does not print

    I have a HP Officejet 6700 connected to my desktop HP w1858.  I can't the computer to send documents to print.  The printer icon has a yellow triangle with a! Select this option.  I tried to download a driver for HP printer, but it still does not print.  Windows does not list the HP Officejet 6700 (7100 & 6500 printers are listed).  Can I use a different printer model to obtain a class driver?

    Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support.    I understand that you can't print from your printer Officejet 6700.

    I assume you see the exclamation icon is in your connected HP account.  Connected HP sometimes gives a false report that there is a problem not specified with the printer. HP has been able to reproduce the error.  If there was a genuine mistake, the message would point to the problem (low on ink, paper, etc). Unspecified error message does not prevent you to use ePrint.

    If I have understood you please let me know so that we can you top and printing.

    I bought a HP Officejet Pro 8620 and connect 2 computers via a wireless connection with the latest driver.
    In the first computer (windows 7) I can print without any problem
    On the second one (windows 8), when I try to print, I can see in the windows printer spooler file that I'm going to print. The file is sent to the printer, without error, BUT nothing happens.
    I already tried reinstalling the drivers, restart the computer, the printer. I tried to connect to a wired network. It still does not. It's very weird but I got no error, just does not print. I thought that the printer does not work, but on the second computer I can print.
