OfficeJet J3680, cannot log on to the appliance

OfficeJet J3680, connected by USB to Mac Mini with OSX 10.9.5.

It worked very well for a long time, but now scanning is broken.  Print still works fine.  All features (printing and scanning) works fine if I connect the USB cable to my MacBook Pro with the same operating system.

Specifically, I get the error message "unable to log on to the device.  This happens for all types of access attempt (preview, Capture of Image, system preferences > printers and Scanners > Scanner > Scanner open...)

I tried different solutions, up to and including a complete uninstall and reinstall, with restarting the computer and the printer.

Update Software Apple (in the App Store) indicates that I have successfully installed HP Printer Software Update Version 3.0.

Printing SYSTEM has been reset several times.

Clues?  It's super frustrating that it works on my laptop, but not the desktop computer (where there is meant to be fixed.)

Thanks for getting back to me, and Yes you are right and forgive dominant that the printer works with other devices.

Here are a few suggestions more:

  1. Remove the first printer driver by following these steps: Sunshyn2005: FRUSTRATED! HP 6700 scanning feature does not not with my MAC
  2. Complete a manual uninstall then: Sunshyn2005: Re: definition of Scan
  3. Reinstall the driver v3.0: v3.0 of HP for OS X printer drivers
  4. If it still does not work, try to create another user account

    The other day, I tried to install a product autodesk on my computer. Towards the end of the installation, the installer says that it didn't have enough room on the computer to complete the installation, so I cancelled the installtion and restarted my computer. Then, I went to connect another hard drive along the side of the hard drive that I am running out of. I first turned the computer off, and then plugged the new drive, then restarted. I would like to find a way to be able to connect without going through the other connected hard drive, and I would also like to be able to open files without going through the windows Explorer restarts.

    I am able to start windows internet explorer, but not in google chrome. I currently use internet explore on the problem computer and bar menu, containg File, Edit, View, etc. is only showing a black bar instead of the actual menu items.

    In addition, all the shortcuts on the desktop do not display the appropriate icon that they show only a default icon.

    2. What security software you are using on the computer?

    I suggest connect you to Microsoft Account by going online, i.e. account.live.com and check if you can login to your account.

    As the title says, I basically can't do anything right now, and BC support has not really been able to help me I asked on this already here in the forums (when the site was still active, it is now no longer). When trying to log in to the administration console, all I get is: 'ERROR: this site is currently unavailable. " "For more information, please contact: (my name)." And Yes, I am the administrator. I created the Web site using Adobe Muse and published using that. No other party was involved, with the exception of Godaddy.com where I bought the domain.

    Unlike, I have been told it should be, I don't get it and never got a form to fill out my payment information to opening a session on the administration console.

    I also get and only accurate above the error message when you try to submit a support ticket, the only place where that I could ask is so here.

    As I mentioned in my previous post, I could not fix my credit card details when the card was no longer valid because I was on vacation and somehow fails to access this menu on mobile. A week later, I received another email, telling me that all the admin services have been disabled until I pay the Bill. At this point I started to receive the above error message. Now, a few weeks later, the site itself has been turned off - I can not even pay the Bill.

    As I'm not very used to do the entire installation from a Web site, I certainly don't want to spend that time again, but just want to pay the overdue Bill.

Therefore, you have to connect the console to the admin of this site the user partner and you will be then prompted with a form of payment to pay the outstanding Bill.   • OfficeJet 4650: New HP Officejet 4650 cannot be detected in the wireless

    Have tried to install this printer with the 8.1 Windows wireless configuration wizard and Windows 10, and none of them can detect this printer on the same network. Manually enter that IP address of the wizard is not working too.

    I also changed the printer IP of the DHCP server to static, same thing.

    The only way it can detect the printer is through windows 'Add a device' where it appears a list of the devices in which 2 printers named with "Direct-*-4650". "» Not sure one to choose. Choose anyone of them will allow you to connect to this printer once. Next time, this printer can print either.

    An observation is for Officejet 4650, he cannot be crazy; Unlike my other Deskjet 3050 a, its IP address is to ping requests.

    Just return to the issue with the solution. After working with HP support, we discovered the root cause. At home, I used extensions of TP-Link powerline to basic wireless network and ending up with 4 more wireless relay networks that are all on the same subnet and masks. Home, the devices are connected to different networks wireless in places and they have no problem to connect to each other.

    However, this printer 4650, if the Setup program on one basis other than directly connected to the router network, it will be inaccessible. It can be reached from the core network; and all devices on other networks can reach it after that. Another printer, HP 3040 A, has no question also and can be installed on any network.

    Seems a limitation of 4650 printer!

  • Sqlplus cannot log in with the default password

    I tried to log in as a user I in order to run a script (I read that the default password is the same as the schema name I in this case), but it gives the error:

    If you create a database of HRMS9, you should have this by default. Are you sure that you build a database of DEMO HRMS9? What option did you choose the DMS database setting during the creation of the BDD?
    You can copy one another or insert a new row in this table, the PS has obtained special rights.
    I would be suspicious of your creation of db and I see how you have done and perhaps restart from scratch, after carefully reading the doc.
