OfficeJet J4680: HP Officejet J4680 - Windows 10

I upgraded my OS from Win 7 to 10.

While on my laptop HP programs and detection of the printer worked (WiFI), on my PC, it failed to recognize my printer that was installed.

by pugging USB cable it acknowledged him as a scanner and it works through the program to scan windows

Add another printer through the devices Panel found that web connected but does not print.

Finally, in the HP site I found a download for WIN 10, but download constantely fails as begginning, even after the cancellation of the fire walls.

Bottom line - I can't use my printer on the PC with WIN 10

Are there any support/printer drivers HP for the OfficeJet for Windows Enterprise 10 6700?

    Hello

Windows 10 is still in its beta phase, any pilot will not be provided before the release of the operating system.

From my experience, Windows 8.1 drivers should work fine, I suggest to give it a try:

  • duplex HP officejet j145 windows 64-bit: the page sequence at random

Installation of win 7 driver for my hp officejet j145 windows 64-bit was smooth, but despite the duplexer duplex printing now works only manually and the hp software functions are that much missed (ink, etc.); worse, even with the manual double-sided printing: the sequence of page on the back side is random (for example 1-8-3-12-5-2-7-10,...) and is distinguished by the document.

    Help, please!

    Ok

    Let's try the following:

Once the printer is already connected to your PC,

Go into devices and printers and then click Add a printer.

Click Local Port and select the USB port from the list (may appear like USB001 or DOT4)

In the lst select HP industrial.

In the list of printers, select the HP Deskjet 6940 or HP Deskjet 6980.

Follow the steps to complete the add a Printer Wizard.

Now try to print with the newly created spare driver - you don't see any similar behavior?

If you see a similar behavior, try to print using another software (for example a web page), you can see the same results?

Make sure not to change the parameters of the front and back of the box print dialog, but only from the Printing Preferences dialog box.

What application you initially try to print from?

  • OfficeJet 6110 Windows 8.1 compatibility

After upgrading my ro PC Windows 8.1 Overview Pro, print my 6110 OffcieJet function has stopped working.

Is there a new driver for Windows 8.1?

    Hi mhbar1,

I can't wait to hear that you have questions.  Unfortunately, given that this operating system is still in testing and has not released a new driver has not been released.  However, for this device, the drivers for Windows 8 and beyond are in-OS only.  Simply, we should be able to update or delete and add version 8.1 to recover printing features.  Please see the steps below that can solve the problem.  If you want to learn more about your product, click here.

    Update driver again:

    1. click on print and record device

    2. right click on the printer icon

    3. Select Print Properties

    4. click on the Advanced tab

    5. click on new driver, next to the driver with the name in block letters

    6. the add driver Wizard window opens

    7. Select HP under manufacturer, then select the Officejet 6110 in the list of printers

    8. click on next

    9. click on finish

    10. click on apply

    11. click on OK

    Delete and add the driver:

    1. remove the device

    2. turn on the printer and the computer

    3. connect the USB cable for printer

    4. connect the USB cable to the computer

    5. computer will install the most recent drivers in OS

  • OfficeJet 6600 Windows 8 blank page

    Hi guys,.

I had to buy a new desktop computer. I had Windows 8 in there. I downloaded the program from Windows 8 for the OfficeJet 6600. The problem is that a blank page spit after printing a document.

I checked the settings and the separator page is empty. This means that it is not set for a separator page and none should come out right?

It was perfect with Windows XP. I HATE Windows 8! It's totally lame! If I had known how Windows 8 was that I would have NEVER bought this piece of junk!

    Hello quartertec,

    Welcome to the HP Forums.

I see that you have a problem with the printer printing blank pages.

I have a few steps we can try to solve this problem.

First of all, please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a bar/power strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer for example, but it is intended for HP products in general. Please click the link which explains the problems when connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power.

I suggest that we start from the beginning.  Please, remove the usb cable from the printer and the computer and disconnected until further notice the cable.

Please click on the following link for uninstall the printer software.  Once the software and the printer driver has been removed, restart your computer.

When the computer is back, please click the following link for HP Officejet full feature and driver software.

The installation will prompt you as to when to reconnect the usb cable.

If you still have questions or if you have any other questions, feel free to write me again.

    See you soon,.

  • Problem installing HP Officejet 4500 Windows 8.1

I recently reinstalled my dad's computer. Earlier there was Windows 7, now it has updated to 8.1. The printer and scanner function worked correctly before, but now only the printer works. It was plugged during the installation of the OS and the printer has been recognized correctly, but when I tried to install the driver freshly downloaded from the HP support page, it stopped at one point and asked me to connect the unit via USB. It has been correctly connected, I was able to print, but the installer never been there. In the Windows Device Manager I can see it with a yellow exclamation point, I also tried to ask Windows to search for a driver, but he did not. Then I tried with deleting or disabling the device, the device and restart Manager process 'Add features', but it also did not help. I also tried the full and only download driver. I use 64 bit Windows 8.1, with the Hungarian language settings

    Hello

Please take a look at the Device Manager and the HP Installer, what specific model you see in the Device Manager while plugging the USB? (HP Officejet 4500a - f / HP Officejet 4500g - m / HP Officejet 4500n-z)?

at the top of the HP install window you will find the same exact model (including the second characthers), or there might be a difference that indicate use of the wrong driver?

Please let me know the results if there is a difference please let me know the exact model as shown in Device Manager, so I can point you to more the correct driver.

Moved from Vista devices and drivers Forum.

    Hi Benoit,.

Good day to you and thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I understand that you are unable to install the printer on Windows 7. I'll be happy to help you with your query. However, let me ask you a few questions;

    1. What happens when you try to install the printer?
    2. You receive an error message? If Yes, what is the exact full error message?
    3. You try to install the printer for the first time to Windows 7?
    4. Remember to make no change in the computer before the show, if it was installed before?
    5. What is the brand and model of the computer?
    6. You are able to install the printer to Windows 7 via USB cable? If not, what happens when you connect the printer (via USB) to Windows 7?

There could be various reasons that you can not install the printer. There could be a possibility if you try to connected the printer for the first time, you need the printer software. If it has been installed in the past, it could be any conflict of third party software. Let's try the methods below and check.

Method 1: Download and install the latest software of the printer from the printer manufacturer's website and check.

Enter the exact model and series type the following link and install the printer software.

    Driver downloads &

Method 2: There are several ways to connect a printer to your computer. An option that you choose depends on the device itself, and whether you're at home or at the office.

    Please see: install a printer

Method 3: If the printer has been installed in the past, perform the clean boot in order to avoid any conflict of third party software and check.

Put your system to the clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. You must follow the steps in the article mentioned below to perform a clean boot.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows

Note: see 'How do I reset the computer to start normally after a boot minimum troubleshooting' to reset the computer starts normally after troubleshooting.

From now on, try the methods above and let us know the result as well as the answers to the questions. We will be happy to help you further.

  • OfficeJet 5740: impression e6 envlopes on a new 5740 OfficeJet using Windows 10 64 bit version

I use Microsoft Office 365 under the Windows 10 64-bit operating system. Just bought a HP OfficeJet 5740 printer and the need to address an envlope size e6. I put the right settings, but the machine tells me that the format is incorrect and cancels the print job. For the years oder office aeroplane model having used, I know how to handle this and know that I'm doing things correctly. Any suggestions?

    @Gervas

    Inches millimeters

    E6 5.51 140 X 200 X 7.87

Assuming you are using the full feature software (printing software):

If the envelope size does not appear in your print as a standard size preferences, you can create a custom template for your envelope E6.

In the How-to Section > Print > Instructions and settings >

    Creating custom paper sizes

    Reference:

    Printing options

See the Section titled: custom paper sizes

Once you create the custom model (custom form), it should appear in your preferences, and you can select it from inside your print settings in Word.
