OfficeJet JO 4500v G510a-f: cannot install Officejet 4500 on Toshiba laptop

I try to install the printer software on my Toshiba Satellite Pro A040-C-109 notebook folder number and get the following error messages: this computer does not have the necessary support from the USB software to allow for the completion of an installation of USB.  My laptop has only the USB3 ports.  I tried to use a USB 2 hub, without success.

Any help will be appreciated.

    I understand that you can not install the software for your Officejet 4500. I see that the software is the extraction, but Setup does not open.

    First of all, you have a firewall or antivirus, such as McAfee, which could block the installation? If so, and you know how to disable your firewall/antivirus please do so temporarily and try to install again with the Print-install Wizard.

    If you don't know how to disable the firewall/antivirus or if you've tried and the problem still persists, please follow the steps below. You will notice that some of these solutions are repeats of what I have proposed before, but it is preferable that we do these steps in the order presented. In fact, even if you have done some of these steps, please make them even once, you will find a few extra steps added. I know that these steps may seem complicated but please bear with me. Fingers crossed!

    1. Hold down the Windows Logo key () on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run, type %temp%
    2. Delete all files and folders in the temp folder. Choose Skip if all pop ups seem to say all files cannot be deleted

      • After downloading software and extracts, reopen the temp folder, use the instructions in step 1.

      • Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)

      • Open the Util folder

      • The CCC folder

      • If you have a computer HP run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have acomputer no HP run the L4uninstall.exe

      • Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the computer

    4. Temporarily disablestartup services

      • Click on the Windows icon ( ) on the Windows task bar.

      • Type msconfig in the search programs and files box, and press ENTER. The MSCONFIG window opens.

      • Select the Startup tab and then click on disable all disable all programs that start when you turn on the computer.

      • Select the tab Services , the hide all Microsoft Services check box, click disable all , and then click OK .

    5. Temporarily disable Windows Update

      • Click on the Windows icon ( ), click all programs and then click Windows Update .

      • In the left pane, click change settings .

  • Under recommended updates , click never check the updates , and then click OK . If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  • Restart the computer
  • Follow these steps to reset the registry settings and options for Windows Installer.

    Windows 8 on Dell Inspiron 15. Cannot install my printer.  The Wizzard install will not work.  My HP Photosmart e-all in one series D110 disc will not work because this is for XP, Vista, 7 Version 14.0.1 this has worked on my Acer laptop, but who died... so here I am unable to install it.

    I read support messages telling me to go to HPPIW. EXE to open, save, and run Wizzard.  When I do it tells me there is another app from Wizzard running and I have to close the window. Can't seem to get anywhere with that at all.  Any suggestion would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

    I understand that when you tried to install the HP CoolSense software, you have received the message error "there is a problem with this Package of Windows Setup. A program run as part of the Setup program has not finished as planned. Contact your supplier of staff or the package of support ".

    What precipitated the need to reinstall the software?  Were there recent changes? Want to know if it is necessary to install it. HP CoolSense technology is a feature of some portable HP that combines hardware, software and mechanical design dynamically manage the temperature of your laptop, and help you stay comfortable while using it. As overheating may cause problems much, I highly recommend the installation. To try to overcome this difficulty, please try this link (from microsoft.com) solve problems that block the programs are installed or removed. Once you have completed that step retry the installation of a new download. You can also try to do Safe Mode Setup. HP computers - Windows 7 Safe Mode.

    I see that you are wanting to install Windows 7 on your HP laptop - 15-ac628tu. Here's the driver page for your HP for laptop - 15-ac628tu which is already preset to Windows 7 drivers available for your laptop. You will need to use your own copy of Windows CD if you bought Microsoft or another provider to install it on your laptop.

    Then, you can use the drivers from the driver for HP page.
