OfficeJet jumps randomly lines

My HP Officejet J4680 recently started jumping lines of text when printing from MS Word documents, but will print documents pdf without problem, what is happening with this?

I did a little research and found someone with a question very simliar:

http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/printing-issues-troubleshooting/printer-skipping-every-third-line/TD-p/1216411

It may therefore be that your black ink cartridge has a few problems. Now, since you have another printer, I found an article that can help:

Let me know if this helps or not.

  • Portege M700 - random lines are displayed when I write

    A few months ago, I bought a Portege M700 tablet PC for school. It works fine all this time and I was in love. A problem started well this morning.

    When I wrote there would be random lines from off the letters that make it difficult to read. After some tests, I realized that it seems to be like the screen was stuck back somehow. What happens is, I'll write something and after that I raised the pen he will continue to write for a little bit after. I think that the screen is stuck is because the most difficult I have support to write more he will continue to write even if the pen does not touch on the screen.

    Does anyone else have this problem? Any ideas on how I can fix this? Thanks for any help.

    Try to calibrate the screen.
    If you use the writing system then check if you have enough system resources free for it.
    I have problem with some 3rd party programs for writing (for example paragon penreader - write anywhere on the screen).
    This problem was with programs that is too resourses of system for his work and the recognition and the same drawing a line has been very slow.
    If you have some non-standard programs for writing that I recommend uninstalling and check again.

    And try to remember what software install you in the last week or two at the start of this problem ;)

  • My Windows Media Player 11 jumps randomly a song.

    My Windows Media Player 11 follow no list in order. It jumps randomly a song. Redownloading didn't work, and "Fix It" recognizes no problem.

    Hello

    1 have. what fixit you tried?

    2. this problem can occur because the Windows Media Player library database is corrupted.

    Method 1:

    To resolve this problem, delete the Windows Media Player database. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. exit Windows Media Player.
    2. click on start, run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player, and then click OK.
    3. Select all the files in the folder and then click on Delete on the file menu.
    Note: You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.
    4. restart Windows Media Player.

    Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

    If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. exit Windows Media Player.
    2. click on start, run, type % LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft, and then click OK.
    3. Select the Media Player folder, and then click on Delete on the file menu.
    4. restart Windows Media Player.

    Method 2:

    Turn off shuffle option that changes random songs.

    Ask the OP to press CTRL + H key on the keyboard after the opening of Windows Media Player and check if that helps resolve the issue.

  • Mouse jumps randomly Sony all in one desktop computer

    My mouse jumps randomly I'll do anything on the computer. I had to reload windows and he started jumping around just a bit, now it does on every 10 seconds. My computer is usless and it is only 2 years old. I've tried everything. Change the sensitivity of my mouse, turn off my desktop touch screen, new mouse, get new drivers. Nothing works!

    Does while surfing on the internet by typing in a Word document. I searched for a fix for about 8 months and no one can tell me what is happening.

    It takes at Best buy, they can't help, which was $ 100. Then it took for Ribbit they could not help. They tell me that it is a Microsoft Windows problem and communicate with them. They had quite a few computers arrive with the same problems. So now I ask Microsoft to help and out a fix for Millon of dissatisfied customers.  It cannot be the computer because everyone having this problem is not the computer some. This problem is not discriminatory against what system you have HP, Dell, Sony, ASUS, Lenovo, Acer, Toshiba computer. The only thing we have in common is Windows.

    Please help with the annoying problem.

    Apple looking better and better every day. I'm tired of running alternative.

    By the way it took about 18 minutes to type this because of the mouse jumping around.

    I'm not a big fan of Norton, but there is nothing inherently wrong with it.  I myself just use the Microsoft antivirus because unlike Norton, he remains free forever and you will never have to pay for updates stay protected.

    If Norton's always keeps you and you are released, you probably have nothing to worry about and it is more likely the material needs repaired or replaced, for example detection touchscreen is default and causing false keys to detect. Perhaps the best thing that I could suggest is to contact Sony to see what they suggest.

    I had the same Sony Vaio, until a few weeks ago. Sold to a friend and now my only computer is a Surface.

  • How to display random lines from txt file

    Good morning (or evening all). I am creating an application and want to display random lines of a text file. I know how to create a text file using file connections, but how can I read the random lines of her?

    OK I got it.

    For beginners like me to have a problem in the future, I was not specify my path correctly. It is not enough to land your .txt in the /res folder and wait for the Simulator to load. You must load from SD card or device memory.

    Use the method found here:

    http://www.weask.us/entry/J2ME-BlackBerry-read-write-text-file

    to use it's as simple as that

    StringfName = "file:///SDCard/Blackberry/text.txt";

    String printLine = readTextFile (fName);

    label.setText (printLine);

    Somewhere in your project directory create a directory called SDCard (I did in my res folder).

    In the Simulator go to switch SD card, then load Select Directory and select the new directory of the SD card. This will create the structure of the SD card in the Simulator. Simply move your .txt in the SDCard/Blackberry directory and run your application.

  • Random lines in exports

    When we export a finished video of first, random lines sometimes appear in the individual frames.

    It seems to happen only on a Mac Pro (we have several hung on the same server), but it is unpredictable when it will occur. I exported the same project with the same parameters twice earlier today and had no glitches, then made some settings audio and stabilizers of two fixed string on clips unrelated in the timeline, and now the question appears.

    We use outside color luts, but since we have no problem on other Macs I don't think that it is related to the lut.

    Where should I start troubleshooting?

    Thanks for any help!

    Line example 1.jpg

    Line Example 2.jpg

    Hi MatthewRichie,

    Sometimes when we export a finished video first, random lines appear in individual images.

    This may be a problem with some computers (end 2013) MacPro, usually with double cards D700. When the GPU processing is enabled, random lines may appear in exports.

    fixed two stabilizers of curvature on the independent components of the package, and now the question appears.

    It is an effect of GPU acceleration, so the GPU has been used in the export process.

    Where should I start troubleshooting?

    Try and export without GPU acceleration. Choose the 'Software Only' setting in file > project settings > General. Do you still have these lines? If this isn't the case, you may have a faulty GPU.

    Apple has announced that they will replace these GPU in some cases. Visitors noted that the newly installed GPU solves this problem.

    Once the new GPU is installed, avoiding the extreme cases of overheating of internal components of the Mac Pro is recommended. This attitude has helped these customers to maintain these systems without the issue of his return. Customers suggest that these MacPros in well ventilated, if not environments air conditioned. Some use software to assist the internal fans blowing more frequently, and when the internal components are stressed (say when the GPU is engaged in the export process).

  • How can I update the random lines?

    Hi all

    Table of responses I got, there are two columns that belong to this table. This table contains 1 million rows. The response column can be numeric or text.
    create table answers(
    answer_id number primary key,
    answer varchar2(50)
    );
    My question is

    I want to update the random lines 50 to 100 which is equal to "0" (zero).

    The code below works, but I just wonder does it work properly? I mean, I want to choose these lines at random. However, it is very difficult to update randomly. Is this the best way? Do you have any suggestions?
    update answers set answer = '100' where answer_id in(
    with
    get_ids as (select answer_id from answers where answer = '0' and rownum <= 50 order by dbms_random.value)
    select answer_id from get_ids);
    In addition, when I read the relevant discussions to the update at random, someone recommends you to use the rowid, do you think I should use rowid instead of answer_id? (answer_id is also a unique value in my table) If I use rowid will be faster?

    Thanks for your help.

    Almost. You want to take the 50 lines after the ORDER BY has been applied, like this:

    update  answers
    set      answer = '100'
    where     answer_id in
    (
    with
    get_ids as (
                select    answer_id
                from      answers
                where         answer = '0'
    --            and      rownum <= 50          -- DON'T use ROWNUM here
                order by  dbms_random.value
            )
            select  answer_id
            from    get_ids
            where rownum <= 50 -- Use ROWNUM here
    );

    Do you have any suggestions?

    update answers set answer = '100' where answer_id in(
    with
    get_ids as (select answer_id from answers where answer = '0' and rownum <= 50 order by dbms_random.value)
    select answer_id from get_ids);

    The ORDER BY clause is the last part of a query to be run, after the WHERE clause is complete. As originally posted, you were pick up 50 lines with a response = '0' and then sort them in a random order. You want to select all the lines that have answer = '0', then sort them in a random order and, finally, to choose the 50 frist in the list.

    In addition, when I read the relevant discussions to the update at random, someone recommends you to use the rowid, do you think I should use rowid instead of answer_id? (answer_id is also a unique value in my table) If I use rowid will be faster?

    Yes, using ROWID will be faster.

  • How to jump a line with dynamic text in AS2

    -DYNAMIC TEXT-

    I tried the following:

    There is a bug with a gradient mesh in Illustrator CS5. As a solution that you can try to flatten your art first in the menu object, then save, this will do the trick for you.

    Hello... I just bought this all-in-one today, and it is printing very well.  The problem is with the copy and scan.  No matter if I place the original on the scanner or the top of the page, the result is the same... sheet is covered with black lines of variable thickness, running up and down the page, while the details of the actual document are barely visible underneath (or colored lines if I select color printing).

    Not an expert tech by any means, so hard to solve this problem.  Have re-installed... rebooted the printer cartridges... try to print with a cartridge installed... nothing work so far.

    Any help or advice is welcome and appreciated!

    Hi @D_Corbs ,

    I see you got black lines during the scanning of the bucket and the ADF. I can help you with this.

    I would like to do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem.
    Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
    Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector.
    This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

  • Audio jumps randomly on my HP Pavilion p6310f

    HP Pavilion p6310f product # AY018AA #ABA

    Operating system is windows 7 Home premium

    The sound skips and cracks at intervals of 5 seconds at random, I went and time without it and thought it was better and all of a sudden he pops up. I have read many things on the GAL, the audio.exe file try drivers etc. Realtek is accompanying the computer so I even bought an another card (creative) sound in the hope it but no good.

    As far as I know the audio drivers are up-to-date

    Looking at a spell of latency dpc I see it stings at a time where the audio skips, but that did not help me learn anything except there's a mismatch somehow.

    I noticed that the lag occurs more frequently when I use the browsers IE or firefox and browse to a new page, but it ignores even less frequently even when I'm not internet.

    This may help someone, but after months trying to figure out what was causing the noise to jump I started searching for DPC latency and the use of monitors and finally highlighted that whenever the sound popped, I had a lag spike. I went further and got a latency monitor which has been more accurate in indicating what processes or the pilots were using. There was a little, but what I did is notice that I kept having an activity that was of fortification, then I tried to disable mcafee a firewall I used, but still it happened then what I did uninstall Mcafee completely and reinstalled and uses just the windows firewall and the sound problem is gone!
