OfficeJet Pro 8600 e-N911a: Installation error 2147467259: can't find driver packages to deal with when installing the drivers

I had to reinsall Windows 7 (64-bit) and am trying to install the drivers.  I first tried the latest driver, but there was an error of installation, so I tried the base driver and the same error came.  I ran a disk check and its not finding the problems of difficulty.  Any suggestions?

I found the problem finally.  HP requires you to have your registry database, set Program Files directory on your C: drive.  After I re-installed windows because I don't want things to my SSD, I've changed the default value.  It is a ridiculous failure in HP software.

I use a brand new HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus.  When I insert a good 32 GB SDHC UHS - 1 card (SanDisk Extreme UHS-1) the led next to the card slot flashes for awhile, and then "Memory card error" appears on the screen.  The card works fine in the camera and my MacBook Pro's built-in card reader.

Well, I hope that he really isn't a 12MP resolution restriction as my camera is 16.1 MP...

Anyway, I downloaded all the images on the SD card on my MacBook Pro (there is no problem reading them) and then re-formatted the card.  After doing this, the card seems to read OK based on some images of the trial.  I guess we'll know for sure once that I load the card again and try to read it, but for now we'll call this one resolved.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus fried by storm - how can I removed the ink cartridges

A storm on the last week my OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus feeding dish. The printer is irretrievably economic so I ordered a new printer.

Without power, the transport of ink cartridge is stuck in extreme right position where it is impossible to remove the four ink cartridges relatively new. Ink is not cheap... would like to be able to recover the disabled printer ink cartridges but cannot understand how the cart release.

    Any sugguestions would be appreciated.

In the end from the deceased by removving Assembly ADF/scanner printer ink cartridges. This provided access from the top to the distribution of ink stuck.  T10 Torx driver required to remove all.

The new printer will not accept the cartridges retrieved when installing printer... had to use the "setup" cartridges in the box with the new printer.

After you configure the new printer, however, I've been able to 'Set up' cartridges for almost new XL cartridges that I had recovered from my old printer.

I mainly use Chrome OS, but it seems to have the same problem on a PC running Cloud Print via a browser. If I connect to the applications on the 8600 eStorage feature and go to display and print, then I can access Google Drive files and order a print of a PDF file through this interface and that they print correctly.  I had deleted the former use of the Cloud Print queue and queue ePrintCenter, but still no a PDF is via CloudPrint impression.

I can't thank you enough for this explanation. I didn't know that there is a correlation between the error 'unknown' with the printer on the ePrint and Google Chrome website.  I have worked with greed to try to determine the causes of this error to www.hpconnected.com and so far everyone has said that it does not affect their impression.

You see the error in the hpconnected or the eprintcenter.com?

I now have a few steps for you and please let me know the result. I want you to set a static IP address on the printer.  I have created a comprehensive document which includes all the steps to solve a similar problem (maybe even the same problem).  Do not hesitate to try any suggestion in this link and let me know if any help really.

-Printer will not respond to touch and Communication Network is lost-I am a link you directly how to set a static IP address, but just know that I will be having try you a number of relevant suggestions if it does not work.

All I ask is patience with me while I do some tests to see if your error on the ePrint site has something to do with Google Chrome.  In fact, thank you for giving me something more to test.

Finally, if the static IP address is not help, just turn on the printer, and then try to print the PDF, because so far, it's what makes the error on the Web site to go.  Keep me posted.

    Hello

I put Vista on my A100-788 (PSAA9) and drivers available on the french website of Toshiba.

Then the installation stops and get rid of me!

    What is the problem?

    Hello

  • Error message when installing the drivers: the system cannot find the specified file

I tried to install a new usb wireless adapter. Every time I try, I get a message

"The system cannot find the file specified."

I was wondering if the adapter may be at fault, but when I went to reinstall my old wireless adapter (which I installed about a year on the same pc with no problems) the same error message appeared.  I have Vista SP1

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it makes no difference.  I downloaded the latest drivers for both adapted from the Web sites of the manufacturers, but not joy. Any advice?

    Hi Jim,.

You can check for failed or damaged the previous installations of the driver (works for Vista):

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315539

Look in the Device Manager for the network USB adapter instances and delete everything you find, and then restart the computer.

If it is a laptop, you can probably bring it to the store with you to test the brand new map, you might be interested to ensure compatibility.

No, there are no particular issues with recent updates I know.

You can uninstall an update if you only what it can be in trouble. If this isn't the case, you can reinstall it later.

Let us know how it goes.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 false jam transport error messages

I have two circular messages on my 8600 Pro. The first is that there is a jam in transport. "The print carriage cannot move", it is said. "Open the door ink cartridge access, varnish any jammed paper or obstructions and selec OK." But there is not any paper jam. I checked all sources of paper and they are clear. I also tried to remove one of the ink cartridges, how the cart moves happily all the way to the right and go back to the change cartridge position, with no problems at all.

Erase this message and you get a cartridge problem... Blah, blah, blad... one or more cartridges is damaged. No they are not. Remove them and replace them all with new, same error message.

Erase this message and you are to the cartridge jam.

I tried the 15 second cord reset and remove the printhead (which seems very well). Any other suggestions?

I love this printer - best thing HP produced in ten years - and I don't want to go back to work!

It was the black cartridge. First of all, the one I tried. So the good news is, now, I have two of my favorite printer...

  • Windows 7 / HP OfficeJet Pro 8600: Installation network without success

    OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

    Printer: HP OfficeJet Pro 8600

My goal is to enable the "Scan to Computer" feature of my HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 on Windows 7, which does not find my computer when I try to use since the touchscreen front panel of the printer. The printer connected to my wifi LAN.

In the Setup program on the CD, I chose to NOT to install any software apart from the "HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 software basic device", which installs fine. I also choose NOT to install the web services "ePrint" or him allow to connect to the network for updates or share of usage statistics, or none of it.

During Setup, the network "Check" concludes correctly the printer on my local wifi network, but the 'Installing network printer' part next fails still, having for result "Network Installation fails", no other details. The result is the same if I try again with "Real-time Protection" of Microsoft Security Essentials offshore, or with the Windows Firewall off the coast. No other antivirus is running.

The program "HP Scan" immediately fails with the message error "HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 is not found."

Under control panel > "Devices and printers", I see a HP OfficeJet Pro 8600. Windows installs and print with that printer without the CD.

Under control panel > "Device Manager", the printer is NOT listed under "imaging devices".

My Acquisition of Image Windows (WIA) service is running.

    Clues?

You try to scan from the PC using the scanner or scan from the printer to the computer?

If it's the latter, then the "Scan to Computer" function must be enabled via software of the printer installed on your PC. Then you should be able to scan directly from your printer.

If this is the first, and then quickly run this tool and tell me what it is:

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 stopped scanning

I have my 8600 Officejet Pro connected to my computer and use Windows 7. When I got the all-in-one, he scanned beautifully. Then one day he just stop scanning. I get an error when I try to scan which said"The HP 8600 Pro Ofifcejet not found. »

I ran the HP Print & Scan Doctor half a dozen times and to halfway through, I still get the error message "The HP Officejet Pro 8600 was not found."

On the HP Print & Scan doctor, when she leaves, I get a screen that verifies offshore:

    -Device Manager

    -Pilot Check

    -Device status

    -Windows (WIA) Scan

And then I have a yellow triangle with an explaination in next to "HP Twain scanning" brand

He has a box that says: "Please save your work and close all applications. Unplug it from your printer by pulling on the power cord from the printer. Plug it back, turn it back on, and then click "Restart the computer." Once the computer is restarted, run this utility again. "What I've done several times - it doesn't change ANYTHING. Still, I get "The HP Officejet Pro 8600 is not found" error box again...

I would add also, I was able to print without missing a beat and I use a USB cable to connect the MFC to my PC as our wireless here at the office isn't bad.

I would be very happy for any help and suggestions that someone has!

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus - what is HP Officejet Pro 8600.exe do exactly?

    -HP Officejet Pro 8600 more

    -Windows 7

-No error message--> is something happening?

    Hello

Installing HP Officejet Pro 8600 over CD installs some desktop icons, among them the one that points to

"C:\Program HP HP Officejet Pro 8600\Bin\HP Officejet Pro 8600.exe".

By clicking on this icon, nothing happens, even if a process with the HP Officejet Pro name 8600.exe appears in the Windows 7 Task Manager. Clicking on new starts a next process.

My Question 1: What is supposed to happen?

My Question 2: I'm still looking for the installation of the HP printer, well I could complete my installation through the Web server, there should be one also a desktop application. If HP Officejet Pro 8600.exe is the start of this desktop application, what am I doing wrong?

    Thank you and best regards,

The executable your seeing is the control panel of the printer on the computer.  He replaced Solution Center on the newer printers.  The reason why it is not opening is because the pritner has not been completely installed.  To complete the installation, click on the start menu, select all programs, find and select the HP, folder, select the 8600 folder and select Add a device (it can be labeled printer installation and software).  That should allow you to complete the installation and access to the printer.
